When Rusty was on the stand, he said his attorney was not in the same room with him during police questioning, and that he would go out and talk to his attorney in the other room ,who would calm him down, and then go back to be questioned by police some more. And that his attorney did not know what he was going to say to the police. I have never heard of such a ridiculous scenario, because if your attorney is not next to you during police questioning and does not know what you're going to say, what's the point in having him there at all. Sgt. Hays said Rusty's attorney was actually with him the entire time of the questioning. So Rusty lied on the stand about running back and forth between the police in one room and his attorney in the other? That man is pathetic.

Someone at that house had to have smelt Gary burning as that fire pit was located so close to the house, was burning for days and the wind would of obviously changed directions at times or maybe not.
I wondered, also, how no one smelled anything. I remember during the trial of the guy who killed his parents and burned parts of their bodies in the fireplace, that a policeman who lived across the street thought he was smelling someone cooking pork.

It’s cross examination- leading is always allowed. On direct it’s not allowed except under some exceptions such as a hostile witness.

So, Melody has her affairs wants to have money only for self, so she finds weakest link out of her kids to used also go against her father. Amanda probably didnt hardly ask for help where father had no problem helping his kids, I believe he started to see Amanda just for what she was easily influenced and can't be trusted sad part it was all Melody work, she could care less about any of her kids. It didnt sound like they gave Scott paycheck for his work which would make sense why he gave Scott money doing work on farm and being his father. Melody was getting upset as if he was giving money to strangers, women.
