I don't care what anyone says Steven Tyler is humble , big hearted man who genuinely cares about people . I wish I could have met him I mean met as in met him at one of his shows . Aerosmith was the very first concert I ever went to and I lost count of how many times I've seen them. I'm 60 now so chances of actually meeting him are all but gone But he is a warm ,thoughtful, great full man Not to mention honest and open . Had an affair with him in the early 70s.Never forgot him he’s a contagious person. He changed my life coming from Dover, Ma. My DAD kicked him off the property something I would never forgive him for.That MAN totally changed my life for the better I’m so glad I had those years to spend with him and the band and the woman who were part of that life too! I will never forget him.Fortunately I never did the drugs even though I considered myself an addictive person.I think that was the likeness we had for each other.Saw him in 1989 and things were just like before. It's a blessing to be with your loved one when they pass. When my grandfather passed at 102, the last thing I said to him was THANK YOU. I'm watching this in Dec of 2023. We just celebrated his passing of his beautiful soul on December 5th 2017.

Sifting through videos out here, and I'm so glad I found this one. This man has had a hard life, he's had to come to grips with what he did or didn't do, and I'm glad that he has a family that loves him and has forgiven him. Now he has to forgive himself, and we all have this same problem with things we've done in our lives. I think we are sometimes our own worse enemy. I'm happy that he's still doing what he loves, and that his future bride will be right there with him. When he was talking about his dad, it made me cry. My dad was given only a few more weeks to live, and after losing my mom recently, I'll be like him without parents. I pray that he'll be able to remain clean, and that he has a wonderful life with his fiancé doing whatever makes them both happy. Just goes to show, that no matter how famous one is, they're still humans, just like the rest of us. Sometimes I wonder what it was that caused him to want and 'need' so much attention. He still needs it, and we are a product of our environment. After watching this vid,eo, I have so much respect for him for laying it all out on the table. I really think he's a very kind man, and I hope he keeps that big ole' smile. That's what I love, seeing him smile.
I totally get what he said: it's a fact that he is the face of the band. I was sorry for him many times on this interview, I had never thought of him like that... He said he feels lonely, he said he is now ashamed of being so high back in the days, he said tha he regrets leaving his family behind. That was amazing to hear! *I like him so much more right now* . I used to adore him as a teenager, but I now realize that for me it was as if he wasn't real, as if he didn't live on earth, in reality.... Seeing this side of him was amazing! He is so sweet!

when i was 14 i was staying at my friends house in boltons landing, and we walked into town to get some smoke"s and we walked up off the ice knocked on the door ,and you were not home so i looked in all your windows , and i had wished you answered the door because i was so inspired by you . i remember the coolest living room i had ever seen and the smashed up saab parked by the garage that sat there for years . cheers dude.
I can't even believe I'm still alive. lol The first time I got to see them live was in the third row of the Stanley Theatre, now the Benedum center in 75 I believe. I still have visions of that concert in my brain. The played a lot of the first album, a bunch of Get your wings and introduced Toys In the Attic songs. I was 17 or 18. They were at the top of their game that night for sure.

I wasn't a fan of American Idol before. But, I started watching in 2011 when I Found out Steve Tyler was going to be a Judge~ as he is one of my Top 5 Favorite Front man's/Vocalists/. Pray he gets Saved God Bless
26:50 He talks about being in the moment of a song with the audience. I started going to concerts in my teens and have continued this into my 30s. I have never gone to see the same artist twice because life is short and I want to have seen as many varied artists as possible. There is indeed something magical at a concert; that energy of the performers along with the crowd. That being said, I saw Aerosmith in the 90s, in Pa, and it was the worst experience I have ever had at a concert. Steven Tyler wasn't singing half the time because he was too busy talking to some girl who had her tits out - but the band played on. I have seen equipment fail, bands have "off" nights, drama break out, crowds with no energy, you name it... but nothing was more insulting as a paying fan than what he did. Which is a shame because he really does seem to be talented and charismatic. I am such a huge fan of his 70s work, his energy, his spontaneous ability to scat, and style...

I drive up to Lake Sunapee every year at least once to see if I can meet him. I had a garage band when I was younger and his music has always been with me; such an inspiration. His next-door neighbors said he sits down with the rare fan[s] come up to see him and have an ice cream or juice with them. 3 times they told me I JUST missed him at the general store and, or slow riding by on his bike.
+James Edwards that's just what me and my daughter did last month. And guess who I got to meet! He was riding slowly on his bike! Haha. Best moment of my life.
He has a tiger in his tank...the tiger tail hanging off his jeans used to be a thing back in the 60s when the gas station gave them out when you filled up your tank! ...so cool😍😍💕💕💕
Steven always gives acalades to the band . I've yet to see him dis any of the members. He's the lead singer , Kramer is a damn good drummer ,Joe Perry is an amazing guitarist Etc but steven gives acknowledgement to the group and I love this man He's awesome and such a warm and wonderful personality
Steven was so special i watched my mother die of cancer at 50 she suffered 4 and a half years and then my father 68 a vietnam vet of cancer caused by agent orange all those years ago
I also just got to see this in 2017 yes he can ROCK .I seen Aerosmith in Lexington Kentucky and they put on a hell of a show!Steven ran from end to end of the stage f or about 3 hours.The band went off stage 3 times and kept coming back on for a encore.
What I love about this interview was Oprahs laugh at the end when they first are driving off in Stevens car lol !! I wish there was more fun band stories ,it was a little to family friendly .And he was stoned :)) I think Oprah was to by the end lol cool!! There is indeed something magical at a concert; that energy of the performers along with the crowd. That being said, I saw Aerosmith in the 90s, in Pa, and it was the worst experience I have ever had at a concert. Steven Tyler wasn't singing half the time because he was too busy talking to some girl who had her tits out - but the band played on. I have seen equipment fail, bands have "off" nights, drama break out, crowds with no energy, you name it... but nothing was more insulting as a paying fan than what he did. Which is a shame because he really does seem to be talented and charismatic. I am such a huge fan of his 70s work, his energy, his spontaneous ability to scat, and style...

I drive up to Lake Sunapee every year at least once to see if I can meet him. I had a garage band when I was younger and his music has always been with me; such an inspiration. His next-door neighbors said he sits down with the rare fan[s] come up to see him and have an ice cream or juice with them. 3 times they told me I JUST missed him at the general store and, or slow riding by on his bike.

I also just got to see this in 2017 yes he can ROCK .I seen Aerosmith in Lexington Kentucky and they put on a hell of a show!Steven ran from end to end of the stage f or about 3 hours.The band went off stage 3 times and kept coming back on for a encore.

What I love about this interview was Oprahs laugh at the end when they first are driving off in Stevens car lol !! I wish there was more fun band stories ,it was a little to family friendly .And he was stoned :)) I think Oprah was to by the end lol cool!! But they are my Fav band all of them ,I did name my eldest after the band Tyler :))
