It's amazing how the author can make us really feel for these characters, right?? I'm glad I'm not alone.. You may not like what they're doing but you still feel for them. I rarely find people who can understand the other's pov too. By other I mean those who are opposing our main group. Most people are just judging the bad as bad and don't give shit about them when these so called bad people are also human with their own story and belief to fight for. Can't wait to see how broken you will be in S4 😋 Don't worry I'll be crying too, you're not alone 🥲
Oh I actually have a theory about Rod! When he said, "I can't be a titan" could that possibly meant that he still wanted to free humanity from titans? That's why he kept repeating to Historia to free humanity. Maybe he just hasn't given up yet even though his dad, his bro, and his daughter all kinda 'failed' him? And as the one who witnessed all that, he wanted to make sure that the next one would be able to really freed humanity? You know, like, being persistent in begging them to do that like he did when his father was the founding titan? I really think there's so much more to Rod than just what's shown to us..
No I didn’t really feel that way about Rod at all. I guess I could understand, his story is really sad. Had to watch as his family members decided time and time again to leave humanity in its state rather than help, but I was too attached to our characters I couldn’t give empathy to him ig 😅.

I think this actually makes sense. I thought maybe he knew he was gonna be huge titan but this one has more logic to it
Honestly after many many rewatches of aot, I feel sympathy for ALL the characters. Rod included.
I am glad I am not alone 😂 I thought no one else would feel that way
@nerdterritory1997 that's just how emphaths watch aot 😆
Same. I can't hate any characters..

Yeah I get that 100 percent. I didn’t care for him as well but then I understood he was saying truth and felt bad 😅
