The red brick streets laid by WPA workers lasts longer than the current asphalt installed by contractors. All you get with the asphalt is large chuck holes that takes forever for the city to repair. Typical miss management of resources and funds from tax payer dollars.
31MAY2022 - If you would have taken that right on W52nd you would have driven by my old house. How about a tour on Clark between where the old bridge was and through the overpass just past 52nd? And while you're in the area you could cruise by the Christmas Story House, not too far down the way. Thanks for your work. Is Frederick's Bicycle shop till there? My uncle worked there and got me my first bike. Man, I'm old.
You should take a tour of the Archwood sale next weekend off Fulton and Denison behind the BP...It's not the same as it used to be but can still get amazing food in between 39th and 41st..
I grew up on W. 52nd off Dennison. Brings back memories !!

I appreciated that video. It's been years since I've even been on the west side.
