@@EUROCORP2027The only existing concept burned down in Top Gear, it was quite loud at the time and after this failure Mazda abandoned the project. I also greatly regret that this concept was not implemented, because I believe that this concept is the quintessence of Asian design.

@dontlook1200 The car makes most of its power with the combustion engine. Every time it brakes for a corner or coasts off throttle the hybrid system recovers some energy to charge the battery which then gets used when the driver puts their foot down again. The key benefit is that you can use a very small and light battery.
@@jeremygrice311 and why isn’t removing all of that all together the best option. Battery + regen system I assume all adds weight. Why not just have an engine if all they use that extra fluff for is the first 50 meters before they turn their engine on. Or is it actually faster/ quicker with these added?

I love the fact that when they kick on the ICE, they’re doing a clutch dump to start it
even cooler when you realize they get to ditch starter motors and reverse gears for that reason

Basically no car on earth can get out of the Spa pitlane above ~60kph even when it's dry. It's just too narrow and sharp, especially for cars this long. Rest assured it was doing 270kph before it even hit Eau Rouge, though.

The BoP actually hits the cars more evenly in IMSA as opposed to it practically being nonexistent in the WEC, so if it’s doing bad in IMSA, imagine how bad it’ll be under a far less strict BoP

I am not sure how BoP is going to fair until it is posted, and assuming that their is no re-adjustments. BMW will likely be fine in that regard.
That said, WRT has something more concerning on their hands, the reliability of this car is a total question given how at Daytona that was a no-show. I am not sure how much RLL plays into that, but it seemed to be minimal.
