7 Year Old Ethan Receives First Sports Prosthesis

7-year-old Ethan was recently surprised with his very first sports prosthesis, thanks to CAF partners Alliance Prosthetics and Orthotics and our global prosthetics partner Össur.
With his new sports prosthesis, Ethan is now able to play and keep up with his twin brother Aiden in karate, soccer, tag, Red Light, Green Light, and backyard explorations.
“Ethan’s new running leg has built his and Aiden’s bond. It’s allowed Ethan and Aiden to play more actively together,” said Stephanie, Ethan’s sister. “Ethan’s built a lot more confidence in himself.”
At his first CAF Community Challenge weekend this October, Ethan quickly became excited to try as many new sports as possible and make new friends.
“To me, CAF is a blessing. Ethan gets to see and be with other kids like him. There are no limits,” said Mrya, Ethan’s mom.
