Seeing all the beautiful charms is making me realize that I do really want a charm on my notebook. I absolutely love the Traveler's system because I can change up the inserts depending on what I am working on.
SO fun! My husband has FaceTimed me from 3 of the Tokyo stores to “shop” - apparently I need to tell him that the Roastery has a bar and then he’ll be 4/4 ☕️ Everybody wins 😂💃🏼📚 TFS Lori ✨
Hi Lori hope you are feeling better & beautiful haul love all the pieces you collected on your Japan trip & would love to see your travellers note books when you have organised them 📚🖋️
I’m 69 years old, and it’s always been my goal to go to a Starbucks reserve to get travelers notebooks and the stickers, and writing board, I better hurry up and do that, lol I am enjoying your video on all your travels. 😊 goodness your haul is so beautiful it’s just fabulous thanks for sharing. You picked up one of the clips I seen and I just went crazy over it love the gold tone on one of them looks vintage. My heart started pounding when I seen the Starbucks reserve factory absolutely gorgeous, Starbucks is my favorite coffee joint, their pike place is the best. I bet it smelled heavenly in there with all that coffee. The closest Starbucks reserve is Seattle Washington I would love to plan a visit there.
So excited to see your video and can’t wait to see these places in person. I will be visiting Kyoto so say the word if you want me to pick you up a cover. Kyoto is my fav!
OMG. I enjoyed your video and was just so excited to see the visits to the actual places. A friend had her hubs pick up my Narita journals! Treasures for sure. Now I need the airplane charm!!
It’s so different watching a video of somewhere I’ve actually been to, I love it so much! You’re so right about Tokyo Station being confusing, I got really overwhelmed trying to find it, and I totally get the whole not knowing where to put all the stamps thing, there were a few people trying to use them all when I was there, so super overwhelming! But we’re seasoned pro’s now, next time we’ll know what we’re doing 😂
Definitely inspired me to take a visit to Japan, and stop by the Starbucks Reserve. Was a Coffee Master in my 20s, so I have passports filled with their coffee, even a coffee bible dating to their early days. It will all go into my Sbux TN, along with some company pins, anniversary pen, apron, espresso tamp, cap, T-shirts, even bearista bear.
I am green with envy 🤪 what a wonderful time you had! Look forward to seeing how you use all the treasures you bought …. I especially love the charms and the Mount Fuji inserts 👍x
Wow Great Haul Lori! I have a plain camel TN standard size- I have been using it as my wallet. I keep a monthly calendar insert, a plastic card slot insert, and one of the canvas zippered pocket inserts inside. Lots of spots for everything I need!
Hi! I enjoyed your video a lot! Which size of traveler notebook do you recommend collecting stamps in Japan? Classic or passport? I'm interested buying my first traveler notebook for my Japan travel this summer. Thank you so much.
I loved this video! I'm sad now I didn't go to Starbucks Reserve or Traveler's Notebook when I visted Japan in 2018. I ended up spending all my money at Tokyo Disneyland on stationary, as well as artbox. LOL! Now I'm looking on ebay at some of your amazing finds. :)
thanks for sharing your fun things! it had to be overwhelming to be faced with so many options. you mentioned BK…you must check out their Truly Yours section. they take your notebooks to the next level with TSL additions. your husband is a real trooper!
I had no idea that there was such a thing as Traveler's Notebooks. I look forward to learning how you are going to use yours. I might have to invest in some for myself. Very cool.
Hi Lori. Just found out about your channel and I enjoy watching them. I got so excited watching your Japan haul. Cant wait for the next one. In the meantime, checking your other videos. See you around 😊
Falling into the rabbit hole of journaling and this video just made my day. I am so jealous that I can’t get a lot of these here in Canada. I have to visit Japan now😂.
Thank you so much for this video! I appreciate the vlog part, to try to look at some prices! Could you tell me if the Tokyo station notebook is more expensive than the regular notebooks?
Totally enjoyed this video! I discovered TNs a few years ago, but did not actually get "into" them until recently. What a special opportunity to go right to the source! Thank you for sharing--it is not something I will ever experience (LOL, we only travel by RV and don't have passports,) so I rely on RUclipsrs to show me around!
Very nice! Maybe you can send in your covers to Baum Kuchen for some personalization . Seen it on line and its just gorgeous when done. This is such a nice haul - love your videos so relaxing.
Hello Lori. Great video! I will travel to Japan next month and I'm already so exited to visit all traveler'scompany stores. Your video is a great help to plan my trip ❤. The Starbucks Reserve looked not so crowded. May I ask you, at what time and which day you've been there? Thank you so much!
I absolutely LOVE your haul!! I think we must be related to each other- I would have gone equally crazy with coffee and notebooks/accessories, which should "adequately capture the moment"!! So exciting!!!! I hope to go someday...
I've seen people take plain white shirts and ink and they do a stamp like on the shirt with those pretty manhole covers like the one you passed in 10:49. I've only been to Japan once when I was in High School, I'd love to go back one day. Great hauls! :)
Going to Japan in November- i will need to have a strict budget this time around. That first time going in 2019 was an amazing moment for me too!! Thanks for sharing your haul and I hope you enjoy all of it in your own time. Cheers!
@@timewithtata8004 I’ve seen them in videos but they don’t seem to be for sale outside of Japan. I think they would be a cool addition to my TF collection. Great video! Thanks for the tours of the stores.
Im laughing out loud at "Starbucks is the place that I literally lost my mind" - totally understand!!!! I have purchased third party some Starbucks roastery stuff just because they are so cool - and I live in Seattle so kinda contractuallly obligated to purchase Starbuck's stuff! So loved that you sat there and journaled in your passport insert in the inspiration lounge! Guess I've just added another place to my bucket list.....thanks for sharing!
There must be a log of signed contracts for all Seattle residents somewhere in a Starbucks file! lol!! It really was such a great spot! Seattle should DEFINITELY have a Starbucks Reserve!
You know...I think I thought that was what I picked up when I bought the ballpoint at Starbucks. No I don't have it. I have the Kaweco brass so I never invested in the TN fountain pen. Do you like it?
@@timewithtata8004 I will get it this week from Goulet Pens they are the most affordable in the states… I have seen good reviews on it…by the way you have an amazing collection of pens keep it up with the videos 🥰
Hi Lori, love your content! My question to you is why do you need all these items? You can only write in one at a time? Lol. I know you were trying to downsize. 😂. This is not meant to be a rude statement.
Haha totally fair question! I’m doing my slow fashion Friday video on my growing stationary problem! Need is a very relative word when it comes to pens and stationery!! 😂
@@timewithtata8004 oh they sound intriguing. Have you done a video on them…I may have missed it. I’m just starting on my fountain pen journey, and it’s really addictive already! Love your videos!
For sure! I lived in Japan for six years and really enjoyed the culture. Unfortunately, I was not aware of the fountain pen history 😢. I've just started on this journey and really have learned so much from you!

It’s nice to see that I’m not the only person that keeps the paper coasters when traveling. 😬
You are not alone, lol!

Do they have a Superior Labor store? I love their products!
