I Love Your Videos, You made Me and My Son start filming . I'm a Pilot, My Father worked for Grumman, and Your History strikes My Family and I! Keep up the Great Work!
Nice video, Tim!!!! And welcome back to the USA!!!!! I saw your other videos from Ireland they had pretty cool trains there. I railfanned NJT/Metro North a bit while you were in Ireland. Hope you had fun at Ireland!!!
i love your videos. reminds of my time in the NYC 12 years ago. the last time I was there, I rode the Ronkonkoma line via Penn Station, to Deer Park or Wyandanch to my cousin's place in Dix Hiils. I also missed the double decker diesels to Locust Valley. Speaking of A380 for Korean Air, I was on the first KAL A380 from Incheon to JFK.
I think i speak for all that we are ALL HAPPY that they did away with the trains that only went as far as CI or Brentwood and made them go all way to Ronkonkoma
Welcome back to you and your wife. Hope you had a great time in Ireland
Thanks for making these videos. I was born on Long Island. Makes me homesick!
Just wanted to say how much I LOVE your videos and welcome back.
Thank you so much!!

Just to mention, I worked in Melville near the Pine Lawn station for 12 years back when it was single tracking.

13:27 - my great grandparents are buried out here.
I’d like to think they enjoy the trains passing them by.
When you got to the Pond Road crossing you weren't far from my house. 😀
Cool trains … need some spaghetti & meat balls 😊😊😊😊😊😋😋😋😉
There also used to be South Farmingdale Station on the east side of Main St . S. Farmingdale on the Central Branch
Knew it well
26:10 I caught the same M3 last Thursday 7/27

So many EMUs, it's a veritable safari.
I think the Irish rail class cars sound more like the DC Metro 7K series.
Can u do a railfan a the Ronkonama station platform?
Nothing will ever match the Budd RDCs.😢
I rode on Irish versions of those
Tim, most of these seem to be 10 car trains….with GCT and Penn, are they running greater freq. with shorter trains?
Pretty much. They don’t run as many 12,car trains.
Don't you rest. You must be jet lagged! PS Irish cars are much cleaner!
Getting back to normal a bit each day. Getting out to the trains has a way of reviving me
Wait, did they actually used to have a train that went only from Ronkonkoma to Jamaica?
Back when it was non-electrified that happened all the time
@@3985uprr Oh, isn’t it still electrified on the Ronkonkoma branch?
I’m going to get on a train at floral park today it’s going to be M9
Pinelawn... Croaking sucks because I dont think they have trains in Heaven. 🐸🐸🐸
Maybe they do
I have a question for you, what is your favorite LIRR passenger car?
The 2900 series P72. The P54’s were good also.
Cmack arena original home of basketball Nets?..Maybe the hockey Ducks way before the Islanders Tim..
Recall the arena
Where does the line from PW interlocking go to the Ronkonkoma and central branch split at Bethpage by Grummans plant ??
