You truly are a master craftsman and artist. I am consistently awed by your work and your impeccable attention to even the tiniest detail. Exquisite work.
Great Job. I was very uneducated about forging or metal processing in general. But videos like these show that this is something that can be learned. I already have some ideas which I will give a try soon!
Bonjour, I am also a Juweller, this video is 19.32 minutes lang, you shud tell haw many time you realy work on this ohrclip! (Super démo! 19 minutes! je suis aussi bijoutier et il faut informer les gens du temps réel que demande une telle réalisation. mais Bravo!)
Ok Scaff, out with it...which one is the original? Hahaha! I can't tell, great work! Oh, is that spiral metal thing on your honeycomb block that you use for soldering, a recoil from a pull start motor? Sure looks like one.
+scaffoal r English is 96% clear, and quite good. You should feel free to narate and explain any point of your process. You are the master, clearly. Is all your wire 24K? I suspect so, however you may choose 22K to gain some small strength, so I ask. I wonder, how long did this take for you to accomplish, and what was the commission you charge for such work?
I hope you were paid for all the labour involved in all that work. most people don't want to pay for the hours it takes to craft a handmade item. (in Canada, it's all about wax printing, blegh!)
Hi! Is there any way you can elaborate on how to make the omega backing to the earring. Im not finding any videos and I'm still unclear as to how you do it. Thanks!!
Are the grooves I furrow on the tube, which oblige the wire to make spring. I made the grooves with a cylindrical milling ruclips.net/video/8IhrJgn_g7k/видео.htmlm22s
Thank fore the response. Its just hard to see and as I'm rather knew to fine jewelry making its hard to understand. If you are able to upload a new video explaining this in depth sometime, please let me know!! Thanks!
I just discovered that one of my gold earrings is lost... I world really need a earring reproduction like this, but I believe that it costs so much and no one would want to do that in my country... do most jewellers make "copies" of lost earrings or is it something special?
It depends on the goldsmith's workshop you're addressing. If you send me a picture of the earring at scaffoal@oro-diamante.it I can anticipate if it is a work easily achievable and possibly an approximate cost.
Not Easy! You did a fabulous job Alberto!!!
yes , i think so too . It s not easy to make a copy and than from the other side !

You have some dust either on your lens or sensor. Check both and clean them. This was visible in several videos.
The gold work is excellent.

Thats amazing...what is the weight of one ear piece and is that 18k or 14 k...thanks
Thanks, It weighs about 6 grams, 18kt gold
This is why jewelry is so much more expensive than spot price.
Often a jeweler is less expensive than you think.
What kind/brand of rotary tool do you use?
+Cocainum Maximum I use a Hand Drill Machine.
whats the name of the machine that make the wire longer
+Fernando Zavala roling mill with electric motor, manual www.varinimario.com/it/trafilatura_banco-trafilare-a-mano.html
How you temper the omega clips ?
to harden them, the metal is hammered
