- Honestly for the life of me I cannot fathom the notion that anyone.. anyone in charge would end one of the most Epic love stories of our time with that aiport scene in 2008.... not that, as usual, Genie Francis and Tony Geary didn't pour their heart and soul into it.. but.. huh??? I just don't get it. It's incomprehensible to me. Now the whole 2006 Romeo and Juliet vibe I got.. Laura lost inside herself.. Luke living in his own personal hell. We understood him moving on then.. but now... I am so confused! Those of you who know me know I don't like being confused!! LOL Well this mvid is pretty straight forward.... until we get to the "gift" part. If L&L are over, than at least we were priviliged to have the gift that Mr. Geary, Ms. Francis and everyone else responsible was so gracious to give us. (Gotta love a little L&L therapy!) I will forever be in their debt for this amazing, thought provoking, emotionally challenging, never boring entertainment. It never mattered honestly what the plot at hand was about, the dynamics between these characters was/is so entertaining. ..That's all we needed. Thank you!

Text comments always GREATLY appreciated. I love to discuss the story. Makes all the sharing worth it for me. Please I so DO understand everyone's frustration level, particularly about this topic. However I am a firm believer that you should not judge anyone until you have walked a mile in his/her shoes (or spent a day or two using their brain!!!). Please do not say anything negative about a real human being. (Say what you will about characters.) I will delete any comment that is mean spirited, regardless of who they are about. @Sussezq Continued...Sorry, just have to say my piece. Only then in all of our hearts and minds it will be RIGHT. There is one final chapter that needs to be written...and I hope it is by TG. We need to see them ride off into the sunset together....THEY BELONG TOGETHER!!!
Sue what a wonderful montage There is something about Luke and Laura that I just can't get enough of, Watching passed clips of their history the good and the bad and watching them today on GH I just want to believe that Luke and Laura belong together. I still want to believe that this kind of love can go through anything and still come out stronger then ever! I hope the writers will keep this love alive! It has been a great story that has lasted all these years thanks again for all the clips.
They will always belong together forever. No matter what they may say do or write. Like and Laura forever no matter out may be. Love for Luke and Laura in my heart.

Hey sus! Normally I don't ' watch present day GH but I watched the new reruns a few days ago..NOW Luke tells everyone that he is NOT legally married to Tracey and that he hired a phony pastor that married them in vegas after he got her drunk...THERE THEY GO REWRITING HISTORY AGAIN! Soo..if he and Tracey were not married he could have remarried Laura..oh boy!!! When will they stop!!
This was amazing! What's the date of the clip where Laura's crying and then grabs on to Luke as he's walking away from her? I don't think I've ever seen that one and I LOVE me some good angst.
@sussezq WOW...another fav for me...sooo touching!!! The title is so appropreiate...and I worry about this retirement thing. They can NOT take this once in a lifetime love story away, without bringing them back together again. They owe us...the viewers. We can NOT go to are graves knowing they are not together. I want another reunion love story...and then another adventure. Then...when Luke wants, or Laura, to retire they can be off on one of their adventures.

YEah... that is an amazing scene isn't it?! Its the end of the 93 return story... when Luke is going to take care of Frank Smith.. and he is saying yeah.. maybe I won't return, but at lest this whole mess will be over for you... you should watch it.... it's brilliant. I can find the exact clip if you need... but it is in the 93-94 playlist.

Still watching your videos in 2024. Love them @sussezq, and appreciate you posting them all. As for Luke & Laura...they did belong together forever. I haven't forgiven ABC yet or whatever powers that be, TG not wanting to stay "stuck" in the story, Genie coming and going etc etc. Still they should have somehow ended it differently with him ALWAYS in love with her, forever. The Tracy thing...doesn't exist EVER in my mind, and I can't stand they did that. BUT...the absolute WORST betrayal of this beautiful legacy of L&L, and worst scene in all 60 years of GH, to me...I forget which comeback of Genie's it was...but one of those off contract, had her back to use her for sweeps only, comebacks...when Luke was already with (puke) Tracy... He kissed Laura goodbye, they'd had a visit wherever she was staying, he had visited...he was deadpan and stiff...and then he says..."I DON'T FEEL ANYTHING"...to which Laura looked resigned to that with tears in her eyes. WHAT? THAT was not the Luke of old days, and would NEVER be their ending. Worst writing EVER. Worst destruction of the biggest, and best Soap love story ever. How stupid of them...but the writers now have no connection to those days. So when I need a fix...I watch OLD GH...thanks to you videos...and I pretend the rest never happened. And I bet a lot of others do too. Tku.

I totally agree. TPTB cannot end things the way they did in 2008. It was lame and they can do better. Genis is the heart and soul of the show even though Tony gets the credit. He would have been a 15 week role if it wasn't for her. Bring her back ABC.
