Its been my dream to visit P.E.I ever since I read Anne of Green Gables at the age of 13. It is one of my most favourite novels. I absolutely loved the description of Green Gables House and promised myself to visit P.E.I and see the place of the "Lake of Shining Waters", "Haunted Woods" and "Lovers Lane" for myself. This video just reminded me of that promise. :)
It's surrounded by lowbrow amusement parks, and really, really dilapidated cottages By no stretch of earthly imagination is it a "Lake of Shining Waters" The only way they can keep the population up to survival levels is by mass importing immigrants from Africa and East India, as most normal people want off Spud Island. When you go to Charlottetown, you could be forgiven for thinking you were in Nigeria half the time.

Heya Atul, it totally depends on your capabilities. For myself, I get 2-3 job offers a year. That being said, people know I am self-employed so I decline em all. Work opportunities on PEI depends on your skillset. If you have some serious skills and are able to learn new tasks quickly and easily, you'll do well. If not, you might struggle at finding employment in a good paying position. On PEI, knowing people in positions of authority or high level definitely helps. It's all in who you know, not always what you know.
Going to visit beautiful homeland of Charlotte Prince Edward Island it must in my bucket list so beautiful seeing videos from Toronto Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 love
There is something so magical about Prince Edward Island that I just can't put my finger on. I've been to Europe, the Caribbean, many places in Canada, but when ever I go to PEI time just seems to slow down and there is a stillness that brings me peace. I live in New Brunswick and have been to Nova Scotia many times, but they just don't have the magic.
Love it bro why you say all that and feel someway I don’t have lots money but saving for this trip for sure feel the same way Canada 🇨🇦 so beautiful everywhere really 🇨🇦 Jewel all across Canada that why move from Australia to here
Canada is a beautiful country. Great place, great adventure, great adventure. I am not white, this is coming from a brown immigrant.. Thanks Canada for letting us come here. I wish some of our people travelled around Canada then stay and live forever in the outskirts of Toronto, thats all they have seen in Canada.
Or Vancouver (or Montreal if you are from a francophone country). I swear it's weird how people don't go anywhere else except maybe back home to visit relatives. Otherwise the rest of Canada is an unseen mystery that you just hear about in the news occasionally
I've been extremely fortunate enough to travel much of the world, and I can tell you that PEI is even more gorgeous than this video. There is nothing like a warm sunny PEI day. As someone born and raised far away from PEI, I miss it, and always look forward to returning to the beautiful people and land that deserves all the praise it gets.

I know you and I are going to get along together fine. It's such a relief to talk when one wants to, and not be told that children should be seen and not heard. I've had that said to me a million times if I have once. And people laugh at me because I use big words. But if you have big ideas you have to use big words to express them, haven't you?" "Well now, that seems reasonable," said Matthew. "Mrs. Spencer said that my tongue must be hung in the middle. But it isn't -- it's firmly fastened at one end. Mrs. Spencer said your place was named Green Gables. I asked her all about it. And she said there were trees all around it. I was gladder than ever. I just love trees. And there weren't any at all about the asylum, only a few poor weeny-teeny things out in front with little whitewashed cagey things about them. They just looked like orphans themselves, those trees did. It used to make me want to cry to look at them. I use to say to them: 'Oh, you poor little things! If you were out in a great big wood with other trees all around and little mosses and Junebells growing over hour roots and a brook not far away and birds singing in your branches, you could grow, couldn't you? But you can't where you are. I know just exactly how you feel, little trees.' I felt sorry to leave them behind this morning. You do get so attached to things like that, don't you? Is there a brook anywhere near Green Gables? I forgot to ask Mrs. Spencer that." "Well now, yes, there's one right below the house." "Fancy! It's always been one of my dreams to live near a brook. I never expected I would, though. Dreams don't often come true, do they?" [...]
