@BabyCalisthenics no, chiori is better than albedo. Her kit is altogether more focused than albedos, meaning she can put out more consistent damage. Zero hate to albedo, he gets the job done, but for geo teams chiori is always the better pick
I dont realy see it as buff. Current team is zhongli (geo res shread and shard maker) + Furina + Navia + Siegwinne (provides set damage buff + can heal up furina hp drain easy peasy)
I feel like Scroll Of The Hero Of Cinder City could possibly also be used by Noelle in teams where she is a driver or Albedo in teams where his personal damage doesn’t really matter. (And and maybe even Xingqiu, not now but in a possible future where he is played in a team with 3 other Natlan characters to constantly regenerate energy, after all the only reason why Emblem is his BIS nowadays is because how his ER% needs, in today’s meta his personal damage is negligible when compared to his potential buffing capabilities using the scroll set, so yeah as long as he can get his burst back then the new set should become Xingqiu’s BIS, ESPECIALLY if Mavuika pulls a Furina and enables everyone to trigger nightsoul burst/go into the nightsoul state to use these artifacts just how Furina gave everyone access to Maracheussee)

Xingqiu and Bennett, the 2 OG OP 4 star supports who contended for best character all the time until version 1.5 (and arguably even after that), Bennett seemed to be falling off during Sumeru, but with Fontaine releasing Lyney, Wriothesley, Navia, Gaming, Arlecchino, Clorinde and Emilie (and 5.0 bringing Kinich) he’s right back into the top of the meta, who’s to say that Natlan won’y do the same for Xingqiu later on? Idk, may be wishful thinking but if he ever becomes viable in non-Hyperbloom Natlan teams this set should be his BiS guaranteed

Imagine C6Neuvillette Paired with C2R5 Sac Seigewinne who has Equipped 4p Petra (Straight from Zhongli) then 3rd slot is Kazhua with VV and Xipose Moonlight and last 4th Slot be: Xilonen with new Natlan support Artifact. So if we Calculate we will get: 35% Hydro Res Shred for 8s from Seigewinne. Due to R5 sac we will get 4 Hydro balls which will lead to 14s of non-stop Neuvillette Hydro pump. 4p petra set from Seigewinne will give 35% Elemental DMG Bonus (in this case Hydro) for 10s because of Crystallized reaction through Xilonen Kazhua we have classic VV res shred of Hydro and more Elemental DMG Bonus via Kazhua from Hydro Swirl. Xilonon with New Support Artifact will Give 40% Elemental DMG Bonus (Hydro) Due to Hydro Crystallized reaction. we will also get 40% Geo DMG bonus as well.
@@trainnubb7373 i don't think the 12% dmg bonus is big deal for Furina especially since she gives lots of dmg% bonus from her burst already. Plus, her being a non-Natlan character has no access to the extra 28% dmg bonus so it's a wasted passive on her.
I agree, using furina in a hyper carry as a pure support is a waste of her talent, you usually pair her up with a strong healer who doesn't have huge damage such as xianyun or baizu so a team wide damage share is already a waste

I'm so hoping the archon is an off field pyro applier, and can use that new support set... My current team plan for Mualani is Mona, Benny, and Xiangling (I know Benny doesn't buff Mualani, but still good for healing and making Xiangling usable), and I don't think any of those three will be able to use the new set (Mona has instructor set), so if I can replace Xiangling and Bennet with the archon, and add a more synergistic sustain, that would be really nice. Baizou for burning perhaps? 🤔If there's enough pyro application I could replace Mona with Furina too! 🎉
Kachina is a treasure for my navia team specially cz I don't have chiori and use albedo with her which isn't much of a support but only resonance and shards, kachina is finally gonna make navia shine.🎉
I bet cinder city is going to go nicely on baizhu when used on one of the most popular abyss teams: nuev/furina/kazuha/baizhu. I'm personally not as interested in kachina as a navia buffer as I have a highly invested C2R1 chiori and I just enjoy running chiori in several teams anyway. But I'm excited that more people can enjoy how fun Navia is to play. The shotgun nukes are so fun.
2:20 I feel there is a bit of an issue here. At least from how the set reads. In order for Dehya to buff the other characters, SHE has to be the one that triggers the reaction. Now that doesn't sound too strange, but especially when I think of something like Ganyu-Melt, Ganyu is the one doing the reactions, not Dehya. Meaning in order to buff Ganyu's cryo Damage, you have to set it up with Dehya melting at the start of the rotation. Which isn't too big of an issue, since the effect lasts for 15s, so there should be a way to get that 18s cooldown for Dehya's skill involved with the other characters, but it's important to remember. Just putting down Dehya's elemental skill and then melting with Ganyu will NOT provide any buffs for Ganyu or any other character for that matter. Same issue with Nahida. Do NOT think you can buff your Ganyu in a burn-melt team when you put that set on Nahida. Now it's not hard to set up, it's literally impossible, because cryo and dendro have NO reactions. So all you are going to buff is pyro and dendro damage.
The equipping character needs to trigger the reaction, dehya will have to melt over ganyu's cryo aura and if nahida or emilie are the burning trigger then the set is useless on her in burning teams however it would be decent in burgeon/vape setup with enough hydro aura for dehya to vape. Its a support set for main dps that apply to much of their respective elements like neuvilette, ayaka, etc. Also the set suits elements that don't apply an underlying aura like anemo and geo.
Navia doesnt NEED ANY other geo character to be cracked and F2P friendly, it would be NICE to have another geo on the team yea but it's not really NEEDED because she is already cracked just solo
yes, but this grants her extreme accessibility, because TTDS ningguang was not really an ideal 4* choice kachina is as good as a C0R1 5* for navia, that’s quite a big deal! :D
"the equipping character triggers a reaction" isn't the wording makes it restrictive? for example, dehya in burn vape team would not trigger this effect for hydro.
cinder city with xilonen navia and furina plus xianyun may be good?? i would have my fav characters from fontaine and my fav natlan character up until now cause even being f2p i farmed 510 pulls and got my navia within 20 pulls so now im like wtf do i do with them XD
That most probably will be the best navia team depending on xilonen official kit. If you have enough you can get c2 xilonen or c2 pyro archon that will be the best investment
My biggest question(s) are what sets should be replaced with the new one? Does aggravate want this new set over instructor? Do we want Atk% etc goblets now if Kechina + Furina / Kazuha etc is on the team?
Cinder City is very exciting. 12% doesn't sound like a lot but DMG is the most premium stat in the game (more than even crit). I'm very excited for Cinder City for Anemo hypercarry. 12% isn't a lot on the carry, but part of any team is the team DPS. You generally have TotM Faruzan, a Noblesse, and a Song of Days Past if you can fit it. Now, we can pop out Song of Days Past (which is just so brutally underscaled) and put in Cinder City. In particular I was thinking C4 Jean with Cinder City and Freedom Sworn. 40% Shred, 20% ATK, 12% DMG, that is brutal. For the carry, also 16% NA DMG and 15% NA SPD. What makes it particularly enticing is that the 12% applies to ALL party members. Who are already sharing 20% ATK from TotM and 20% ATK from Noblesse (and 20% more when Freedom is up). Aggravate/Spread also benefits hugely from this set. DMG is especially premium in those teams. Team-wide buffs are also a premium in Quicken, due to how they work. Every teammate provides damage. However, Quicken diminishes ATK drastically, and the more EM the more it is diminished. Noblesse and TotM lose a lot of value. Having a DMG buff for those teams will be huge. Especially since there are very few electro buffers. One unit in particular that comes to mind is Baizhu. His damage is important in Quicken, but he lacks any source of DMG% (Golden Troupe doesn't work because half his damage is Burst). But he is capped at 71.6% DMG or 86.6% with Deepwood and 98.6 with his signature (which is just strictly worse than R5 Sacrificial Jade in Quicken so you're most likely going to be at 86.6%)... which really skews his golden ratio since Quicken inflates ATK so much. For example I use TotM Yae (same set from pre-Dendro lmfao) and Wandering Evenstar Nahida so there is ample EM and ATK going around. Putting Cinder City somewhere on a team with Baizhu will be a huge buff to his damage. Lisa will be an excellent carrier of the set with her 15% shred.
What if you used Cinder City Kachina in an electrocharged team, and triggered crystallize on both electro and hydro? I'm guessing this doesn't make her worth replacing a traditional anemo in a taser team, but there's probably some version where you could do both. (And under these circumstances, would Sucrose be better than Kazuha?)
Hm, I run Navia with Albedo (he’s the first 5* I’ve ever gotten), and either Furina+Charlotte or Bennett+Xiangling The new set will be perfect for Albedo, because he will be able to buff Navia, Furina and Xiangling, instead of running a dps set, which isn’t too good, because I didn’t farm good stats. The question is: will Kachina be better than Albedo. We’ll the question is rather how much better she is, since Albedo isn’t that good (for example his flower breaks often), but I really want to use him
kachina will be better, as she can access the full 40% buff due to having nightsoul, whereas albedo only has 12% edit: but! it’ll still work on albedo if you really wanna use him :)
@@Juice-chan, for some reason I didn’t realize that Kachina can utilize the full buff, so yeah, she seems much better Unfortunately I’ll probably bench Albedo again, but he did serve me very well in early years of genshin (his flower helped a lot with the exploration), so I think he deserves some rest Other than that, great video as usual 👍
i would use it on collei(or your 2nd dendro character) in nilou bloom team with nahida and kokomi. Since there also you have only 2 elements and there isnt a good set for collei to buff if you already use deep wood on nahida
If Burn vape or burn melt teams use Emille, I find it hard to imagine deepwood would do nothing in those teams. Could the new set buff both pyro and hydro in those teams at the same time?
Ok so, for now ill continue farming the old artifact set, and after the update ill throw all the artifacta into the strong box and then start fatming the new set whilr alsp throwing the bad artifacts into the box so i can have both sets :,D

It probably would considering the lack of crystallize shards that you can get is locked behind Bennett's Pyro app. But then again play who U want. You will have more fun with them
another elemental unit with some buffing like yelan would make that team work, but unless the enemy has an innate aura to get crystalize, you'd lose out on too many stacks for it to be worth it
That moment when players find out that new artifact set bonus doesnt work on older character, even if text says. It has a chance to happen, so dont waste all your reshin and moons on it till people test them fully.

Tldr put scroll set on healer, shielders and buffers without a very good Bis set. And other defensive utility e.g Dehya. The most notable are Kirara and Yaoyao because instructors set actively hinders their healing/ shielding. Obsidian Codex for any Natlan DPS and for every DPS if we get a Furina equivalent
I believe if your character is 1% build she probably doesn't have much to be scared of kachina, better if you invest in constilations of chiori Just my opinion because you love playing chiori
It is not a big deal, but i prefer artifact bonuses, that are more simple and straight forward. Lately they are making artifacts, that provides really conditional buffs. I like types of artifacts like Wanderer, Gladiator... Emblem or Golden Troupe are also nice. But artifacts, they started adding before Arlecchino was released, have such strict conditions, you can only use them for a few characters and even characters, who can use it, can't profit from them all the time. The new "Hero of Cinder City" set is a perfect example. Even 2-piece bonus is not gonna give you anything, if someone (who has to be in Nightsoul mode) doesn't use the ult. And 4-piece bonus is also not doing anything unless you trigger the specific reaction + again, if you want to use the full potential, you have to be in Nightsoul mode. That means, if i will use a character, who is wearing this set, for the openworld, where i don't need those rotations or reactions to beat common enemies, this set will provide literally nothing. Not even a bit of a damage bonus. Of course, this is just my preference. I would be just glad, if they added more good sets, that can be used everywhere, at least to some degree, and that can be used by more characters, than just a few (looking also at you, bond of life and burning sets)
I don't know if I will build Kachina for Navia or if I wait for Xilonen instead. I already have Zhongli. Right now, my plan in 5.0 is to save my primos.
she’s usable for cinder city, you could even leave kachina at level 20 & simply equip her with cinder city kachina’s entire kit, including her constellations, centre around her own damage, its being able to hold cinder that cooks with her; it’d cost you 0 primogems as kachina is going to be a free unit, & you still get cinder’s benefits :D edit: might i add that kachina’s gonna be the only partner geo who can provide navia with 40% DMG bonus. after all, kachina upon 5.0’s release will be the only natlan geo character who can take advantage of nightsoul
Build Kachina and get xilonen. Kachina is really amazing for a 4* when paired with cinder city. She's gonna be amazing in theatre too. Xilonen is rumoured to be geo with built in VV for all elements so she will outclass zhongli

one thing about zhongli on the new set, archaic petra is often slept on in teams like mono pyro/neuvillette, where picking up the crystal isn't that hard since you only have one crystallizable element. in those cases, petra will still be better
For mualani why im thinking cinder city is better than codex, correct me, mualani ascension based on crit rate and 40% dmg bonus is better than 15%, if we exclude kachina in the team, we can fit more chars and cinder city looks more promising to me, if we balance crit ratio 😅

I'm personally not as interested in kachina as a navia buffer as I have a highly invested C2R1 chiori and I just enjoy running chiori in several teams anyway. But I'm excited that more people can enjoy how fun Navia is to play. The shotgun nukes are so fun.
2:20 I feel there is a bit of an issue here. At least from how the set reads. In order for Dehya to buff the other characters, SHE has to be the one that triggers the reaction. Now that doesn't sound too strange, but especially when I think of something like Ganyu-Melt, Ganyu is the one doing the reactions, not Dehya. Meaning in order to buff Ganyu's cryo Damage, you have to set it up with Dehya melting at the start of the rotation. Which isn't too big of an issue, since the effect lasts for 15s, so there should be a way to get that 18s cooldown for Dehya's skill involved with the other characters, but it's important to remember. Just putting down Dehya's elemental skill and then melting with Ganyu will NOT provide any buffs for Ganyu or any other character for that matter.
Same issue with Nahida. Do NOT think you can buff your Ganyu in a burn-melt team when you put that set on Nahida. Now it's not hard to set up, it's literally impossible, because cryo and dendro have NO reactions. So all you are going to buff is pyro and dendro damage.

The equipping character needs to trigger the reaction, dehya will have to melt over ganyu's cryo aura and if nahida or emilie are the burning trigger then the set is useless on her in burning teams however it would be decent in burgeon/vape setup with enough hydro aura for dehya to vape. Its a support set for main dps that apply to much of their respective elements like neuvilette, ayaka, etc. Also the set suits elements that don't apply an underlying aura like anemo and geo.
Navia doesnt NEED ANY other geo character to be cracked and F2P friendly, it would be NICE to have another geo on the team yea but it's not really NEEDED because she is already cracked just solo

Geo resonance is nasty though... definitely worth activating if you can. With Kachina being free too, it's such an insane buff for f2p Navia.

cinder city with xilonen navia and furina plus xianyun may be good?? i would have my fav characters from fontaine and my fav natlan character up until now cause even being f2p i farmed 510 pulls and got my navia within 20 pulls so now im like wtf do i do with them XD
That most probably will be the best navia team depending on xilonen official kit. If you have enough you can get c2 xilonen or c2 pyro archon that will be the best investment

Cinder City is very exciting. 12% doesn't sound like a lot but DMG is the most premium stat in the game (more than even crit).
I'm very excited for Cinder City for Anemo hypercarry. 12% isn't a lot on the carry, but part of any team is the team DPS. You generally have TotM Faruzan, a Noblesse, and a Song of Days Past if you can fit it. Now, we can pop out Song of Days Past (which is just so brutally underscaled) and put in Cinder City. In particular I was thinking C4 Jean with Cinder City and Freedom Sworn. 40% Shred, 20% ATK, 12% DMG, that is brutal. For the carry, also 16% NA DMG and 15% NA SPD. What makes it particularly enticing is that the 12% applies to ALL party members. Who are already sharing 20% ATK from TotM and 20% ATK from Noblesse (and 20% more when Freedom is up).
Aggravate/Spread also benefits hugely from this set. DMG is especially premium in those teams. Team-wide buffs are also a premium in Quicken, due to how they work. Every teammate provides damage. However, Quicken diminishes ATK drastically, and the more EM the more it is diminished. Noblesse and TotM lose a lot of value. Having a DMG buff for those teams will be huge. Especially since there are very few electro buffers. One unit in particular that comes to mind is Baizhu. His damage is important in Quicken, but he lacks any source of DMG% (Golden Troupe doesn't work because half his damage is Burst). But he is capped at 71.6% DMG or 86.6% with Deepwood and 98.6 with his signature (which is just strictly worse than R5 Sacrificial Jade in Quicken so you're most likely going to be at 86.6%)... which really skews his golden ratio since Quicken inflates ATK so much. For example I use TotM Yae (same set from pre-Dendro lmfao) and Wandering Evenstar Nahida so there is ample EM and ATK going around. Putting Cinder City somewhere on a team with Baizhu will be a huge buff to his damage. Lisa will be an excellent carrier of the set with her 15% shred.
What if you used Cinder City Kachina in an electrocharged team, and triggered crystallize on both electro and hydro? I'm guessing this doesn't make her worth replacing a traditional anemo in a taser team, but there's probably some version where you could do both. (And under these circumstances, would Sucrose be better than Kazuha?)
Hm, I run Navia with Albedo (he’s the first 5* I’ve ever gotten), and either Furina+Charlotte or Bennett+Xiangling
The new set will be perfect for Albedo, because he will be able to buff Navia, Furina and Xiangling, instead of running a dps set, which isn’t too good, because I didn’t farm good stats.
The question is: will Kachina be better than Albedo. We’ll the question is rather how much better she is, since Albedo isn’t that good (for example his flower breaks often), but I really want to use him
kachina will be better, as she can access the full 40% buff due to having nightsoul, whereas albedo only has 12%
edit: but! it’ll still work on albedo if you really wanna use him :)

Unfortunately I’ll probably bench Albedo again, but he did serve me very well in early years of genshin (his flower helped a lot with the exploration), so I think he deserves some rest

i would use it on collei(or your 2nd dendro character) in nilou bloom team with nahida and kokomi. Since there also you have only 2 elements and there isnt a good set for collei to buff if you already use deep wood on nahida

If Burn vape or burn melt teams use Emille, I find it hard to imagine deepwood would do nothing in those teams. Could the new set buff both pyro and hydro in those teams at the same time?
Ok so, for now ill continue farming the old artifact set, and after the update ill throw all the artifacta into the strong box and then start fatming the new set whilr alsp throwing the bad artifacts into the box so i can have both sets :,D

It probably would considering the lack of crystallize shards that you can get is locked behind Bennett's Pyro app. But then again play who U want. You will have more fun with them
another elemental unit with some buffing like yelan would make that team work, but unless the enemy has an innate aura to get crystalize, you'd lose out on too many stacks for it to be worth it

Tldr put scroll set on healer, shielders and buffers without a very good Bis set. And other defensive utility e.g Dehya. The most notable are Kirara and Yaoyao because instructors set actively hinders their healing/ shielding.

It is not a big deal, but i prefer artifact bonuses, that are more simple and straight forward. Lately they are making artifacts, that provides really conditional buffs. I like types of artifacts like Wanderer, Gladiator... Emblem or Golden Troupe are also nice. But artifacts, they started adding before Arlecchino was released, have such strict conditions, you can only use them for a few characters and even characters, who can use it, can't profit from them all the time. The new "Hero of Cinder City" set is a perfect example. Even 2-piece bonus is not gonna give you anything, if someone (who has to be in Nightsoul mode) doesn't use the ult. And 4-piece bonus is also not doing anything unless you trigger the specific reaction + again, if you want to use the full potential, you have to be in Nightsoul mode. That means, if i will use a character, who is wearing this set, for the openworld, where i don't need those rotations or reactions to beat common enemies, this set will provide literally nothing. Not even a bit of a damage bonus.
Of course, this is just my preference. I would be just glad, if they added more good sets, that can be used everywhere, at least to some degree, and that can be used by more characters, than just a few (looking also at you, bond of life and burning sets)

she’s usable for cinder city, you could even leave kachina at level 20 & simply equip her with cinder city
kachina’s entire kit, including her constellations, centre around her own damage, its being able to hold cinder that cooks with her; it’d cost you 0 primogems as kachina is going to be a free unit, & you still get cinder’s benefits :D
edit: might i add that kachina’s gonna be the only partner geo who can provide navia with 40% DMG bonus. after all, kachina upon 5.0’s release will be the only natlan geo character who can take advantage of nightsoul
Build Kachina and get xilonen. Kachina is really amazing for a 4* when paired with cinder city. She's gonna be amazing in theatre too. Xilonen is rumoured to be geo with built in VV for all elements so she will outclass zhongli

one thing about zhongli on the new set, archaic petra is often slept on in teams like mono pyro/neuvillette, where picking up the crystal isn't that hard since you only have one crystallizable element. in those cases, petra will still be better

For mualani why im thinking cinder city is better than codex, correct me, mualani ascension based on crit rate and 40% dmg bonus is better than 15%, if we exclude kachina in the team, we can fit more chars and cinder city looks more promising to me, if we balance crit ratio 😅
