I liked the explanation why demons had to be wrapped in hair, which was mostly evident in Bayo 2 (it looked like they were actually made of hair in 1...). When Gomorrah escaped bayonettas hair in 2, the summon went haywire. And in 3, the demons were not wrapped in hair, maybe making them more powerful and brutal but she was able to control them with Demon Slave instead of hair, which I think required more effort, thus her having to constantly dance. Idk i think it's interesting
Kamiya confirmed they did it so that the demon slave would be less cluttered and showed off the demon's design better. Also switch hardware wouldn't be able to handle it lol

Only bits and pieces like the flashbacks we saw during her journey. She didn't remember Cheshire so couldn't summon him again. Origins' fairytale and whimsical style is more refined than the more realistic style they tried going for for Bayo 3, and we all know it wasn't going to look that well on the Switch. I just don’t know what happened to this franchise…it turned into some slow paced monster summoning crap. It use to be a solid action game with 1 and 2 then they moved it to something completely foreign to what made it popular and loved by fans.
