This was one of the better reviews of this newer version of this Gourmia Air Fryer/Grill! Thanks for demonstrating all three cooking modes and actually cooking food (fresh cut fries and hamburger with the meat thermometer) instead of just heating up pre-cooked items. Nice job!
Thanks for the review! I own this and have really liked it. As for the target audience, I’d say that it’s great for couples or small families who don’t want to have a lot of separate appliances.
Excellent review.....very thoroughly done for people ust like me who bought it from Costco and it's in transit......Looking forward to using it. Thx again
Just bought it and unboxed it with your videos assist. Had it not been for the video, I wouldn’t have known where to place the thermometer as I found the user instructions unclear. Thank you.
This was a very well made video with great demo of features. Really helps a new owner of this product. Not sure if it is easy to clean the grease on the inside walls or the heating element since they didn't talk about that. Great video though.
Great review! I just bought one of these and didn't know how to use it. It's weird that the grease from foods on the air fryer insert and the grilling insert just drips right on to the heating element. I emailed the company about this and they said it was fine.
I saw at Costco recently for $59. I like the higher surface area of the traditional (vertical) air fryer design, but this concern also raised an concern. grease dripping onto hot coils with air flowing ...fire hazard or worse -baked on grease/food accumulating onto heating coils. My thought was the holes in the initial pan were spaced to drain liquids/food in between the coils, but this review showed the holes in the pan from above (excellent review) and the coils appear visible directly below the openings in the pan. Physics remains true ...maybe the food/grease just burns off the hot coils? Unclear.
I bought it because it appears to be easier to clean than the Foodi Grills, (I have 2). I like the idea that all the accessories can be washed in dishwasher. We’ll see how it goes as I use it. Thank you for a very well made review.
I’m returning mine back to Costco. It’s hard to clean where the burners are. The design is horrible. It says smokeless and that’s not the case. It sets off my smoke detector various times.
It’s a mess when grilling chicken. It says “non stick” but that’s not the case. All the chicken stick on the grill. The “non stick” is a false advertisement from Gourmia

We also thought that the instructions on the thermometer wasn't very clear.
This video showed me everything but how to use the bake the oven part of it and which pans I use
It says to use the air fry basket for Bake function. Basically, other than grilling and griddling, you want to use the basket. Thanks for watching!

It's easy to clean because it's wide open on the top, but the grease falls directly onto the heating elements.
Using mine for the first time today

Good point! Maybe heat shields to protect the heating elements would have been a good idea.

@@bond007xxx We just cleaned the coils and the bottom area after every use.
In all fairness, you need to wash the potatoes and soak them in cold water then dry them in a towel and spray them with oil before cooking.
Thanks for the tip!

I love to cook in the mine and yeah it is smokeless!
