I know right I’m like dude I know he’s good at games but wtf this game is not as easy as he’s making it look. Enter wind sage 😂 which surprisingly I beat first try without the wind tamer because I forgot to swap it out for the fire mantle before the fight 🤦🏼♂️ but the amount of people I’ve seen struggle with not only him but tiger vanguard the past few days is crazy. I’m excited to see how he handles chapter 3 though. I do hope he either does a 100% walkthrough or goes back to fight the bosses he missed. Some quests get locked out when you progress far enough though I missed on in chapter 4 because I missed an entire path 🤦🏼♂️
It's crazy how good cowboy is, even the prerequisite to calm the storm not being done he still beats the rat... meanwhile I die 20 times and had the storm calm😂
There are 2 locations you missed. one is behind the tiger temple, and if you go back to the place where you first met the boar, there is another area. plus going past the wind seal gate, not through it.
There was a wind item that I found that replaces the fire repellent. I used it in this fight and it destroyed him. It interrupts his wind casts and staggers him for quite some time. I'd highly suggest finding it before fighting him. I'm sure someone in the comments will tell everyone the exact name and location of it. I think it's called wind runner or something.
The bosses are gonna get harder. I am playing chapter 3 currently. Man...if you think this boss was hard, just wait until you meet Yin Tiger the secret village sword smith. The fight is gonna be crazy lol
From what I see, the voice in the cutscene is saying that all beings have a place in this realm by birth, and all beings should know and stay in their places. This makes sense at first, until you realized that it has been proven erroneous just within the game itself. It is nothing but a shackle used by the gods and saints in power, to sedate and deceive mortals, in order to satiate their own vile, malevolent, despicable ends.
It’s a weird to watch you play a AAA game without a review ( I always listen to your reviews before purchase) but still I’m having massive fun with my Monkey man Monkey!!!!
I'm shocked that cowboy struggled against some of these bosses. Big bosses just usually need you to hug and around their feet, the only real fights are when the boss is small and humanoid
I used the immobilization spell with the armor that deals more damage when in that state. Stopped using the clones took too much mana. The charm makes it easier stops his wind.
Took me over 6 hours and over 80 deaths to defeat this guy. At the time of defeating him, i knew every move, and when he'l do it and what he will do next. Each and every move is dodgable, just need timing. But when youve fought him 80 times, dodging his moves became like second nature to me. The only thing that i struggled with was phase 3 (when i eventually got to it after like 60 deaths). But i eventually got him. When he starts phase 3 he is actually vulnerable for like 15 seconds and you can then freely layeth the smackdown on him there before he starts moving again. Man i can write a book about this boss on how to beat him. Every move, what to do when to do, when to use rock form, etc. I didnt have this item everyone in comments are saying ir what 2 zones he is missing. Guess im missing them as well. Time to backtrack a bit.
Bro, if you have three charged focus points and you fill the bar up again, it will grow larger for a few seconds, and if you do a heavy attack during those few seconds, you will do the most powerful attack you can do in the game it does almost twice the damage of full three focus points, but you have to do it quickly before the bar starts to drain because then you just have the normal three focus points. It doesn’t actually show up as a fourth focus point but that bar on the left of the three filled focus points fills up grows bigger and that is your fourth focus point and you only have a limited amount of time to pull off a heavy attack. Just a plain heavy attack no light attack before and you will do an ultra move. You can also pair that with an ability and smash stance where you can charge your attacks up to full three charges and if you get a perfect Dodge you can bank all that focus so that way you can get the ultra move off almost immediately in the beginning of the fight but you have to get a perfect Dodge or you will lose all the focus from your charge so you can go into the fight with no focus start charging get the three charges and if you get that perfect Dodge, you can bank them three charges and then work on building that bar up to get that fourth charge ultra move-in then do your spirit attack then go into your transformation and you can do a bunch damage right off the rip.
I dont think cowboy will see this but for wveryone who doesnt know, an easy way to get some nice juicy free damage on bosses is to use the smash stance and charge the staff and charge in there and get a big bonk for free and then immobilize and juat beat the crap out of the boss.
I beat this guy my second attempt. I used the cloud step and rock man transformation and that helped me. Plus the smash stance is strong with that gear.
Also the lambbrew you’re using is probably the worst one in the game IMO. Only one soak slot and not getting a big chunk of health back instantly can lose a fight faster than you realize especially later on. Plus it takes way too many materials to upgrade vs the other one. You can get 4-5 upgrades vs just one. There’s a soak that basically does the same thing upon use it recovers health upon use on top of the main heal. Idk just my opinion. I like seeing more white on that bar than empty space 😂 and I want it back instantly instead of risking taking a good hit before it has a chance to replenish

Immo with combo/stun combo and cloud step is recharged. Red tide when it wants to drop rock. Immo with combo and combo on stun. Cloud step for another running charged heavy. That took him down to low HP. This game is basically a challenging boss rush (difficulty similar to DS3) with not many enemies in between. Refunded after ~2 hours of playing (met 4 bosses in that short period of time). Looks great though. Since it's only 14 hours of gameplay according to HLTB waiting for a 50% sale.
32 hours, just finished chapter 2. Don’t believe all the bullshit about 15 hour play throughs. Unless you are a professional speed runner on your 5th play through. Or I’m just shite 😂
