Little India Klang, probably the best in Malaysia!

We visit Little India, centred around Jalan Tengku Kelana in Klang, Selangor, an easy drive or train trip from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s Capital city. It’s busy all year round, but especially vibrant in the weeks leading up to Deepavali (Diwali), which falls end October/early November each year. Come for the clothes, there are lots to choose from in the many shops and jewellery to go with them , gold or costume. Lots of bling! The groceries, fresh vegetables and household goods are a drawcard and you have lots of food choices when you get hungry.

Barfi or burfi is a milk-based fudge-like sweet from the Indian subcontinent.
