He is so lucky to be able to play the piano like that.......hang on, its not luck, its hard work and lots of bloody practice. An amazing talent who has worked really hard to get this far.
So true, people often refer to performers as just talented, where actually they're extremely skilled, not many people wake up one day and are naturally excellent at it, it requires a lot of time working on their skills :)
I'll never play piano like him. In fact I'm one of the world's least talented pianists, but I've kept with it and I'm now playing (badly) music I would have just laughed at 2 or 3 years ago. If you want to do something, just keep going and you'll get further than you expect. I'll never be a Dave Brubeck, but I might be well, sort of, all right.
I love how during the "creepy uppy love song" you can't quite decide whether it's incredibly sweet or downright disturbing. It's a little of both. It rides that line brilliantly and only Tim Minchin could pull it off so well lol.
Master thinker-tinker, adept word-umm-using--guy, musical genius, vocal power-dancer, man of the people (Canvas Bags, my new anthem)... then "Nothing can stop our love.." .. *gasp* the sound! wtf, he's Cristopher Cross! .. "except for terminal illness or sudden accidental death." ok, that was TM, but bear in mind that confirming it's him here does not negate the possibility that he was the voice of CC, and .. as recently alleged in an item just released today (by me) in a recent umm, release (this one) .. he was "quite possibly [wink-nudge] the voices of both Hall AND Oats simultaneously!" I have nothing more to not say, Thank You!

You made my night! I like me better when given the chance to enjoy my nerdiness and my cinism. I don't feel lonely laughing at Minchin's show!
tim minchin is fucking hilarious, clever, profound, talented, and cool! i could go on
2:30
Watch his Rock and Roll Nerd Documentary (found here on youtube) you'll have a whole new admiration and respect for him. Truly an inspiration.
He didn't fool us, the actual final song is pretty deep.
The punchlines to Minchin's traditional standup routines never seem to land with the crowd.
But I think they're gems. They go wilde.
Who else cried like a bitch at the ending?
"This is my brain, it's where I spend the vast majority of my time... It's not perfect... but it's mine"
I have cried at that song. I don’t know why. Other times I don’t. It is remarkable, as is he.
It's a beautiful song 🙏🙏💜💜 My breaking point was The Body
i think i found a man crush, lol... he's married
He is my crush
you've chosen your crush very wisely
Joshua McCaulley I'll fight you for him...
From this day forward i will also call them my Toilet Bits
Ahhh the good ol days where the mention of the phrase 'Darkside' didn't cause a massive applause of recognition
you grew on me... what a beautiful song..
I cried
I had no idea that song was in this show and as soon as he started playing the intro it hit me like a fuckign bus
I think it's actually _very_ romantic. Sooo much more than those normal romantic omes.
Fucking genius. If i grow up i want to be like him
I like the implication that it's not sure that you ever will grow up
@@happilyhadesbound most likely i will grow up but will never ever be like him
I would be happy if I had 10% of his talent.
love the credits, thanks to "GOD"

my wish is to see him live... on my bucket list ..... almost #1 !!! Thank you TIMMY for all the sanity leave...jay
+Julie Arnold Do you know when he performs next?
This is my favorite performance of Not Perfect. That song is best served by simplicity & sincerity. It doesn’t hurt that he’s so damn pretty, either 🥰
33:50 and then he starts sounding like tobuscus all on a sudden...
but later in the video i realized it's eddie vedder
