I’ve used it on bulb sockets like that but it’s actually not supposed to be used like that. I’ve had a few people get outraged for using that grease TO make contact.
1:50 is the key info here you cant find anywhere. All you get online is "ground to the block" you don't get, ground the firewall and remove a bell housing bolt and use that to ground to the block. Ground to the block is broad
I just thought i should specify the brand marker he is using because that is all i am qualified to do here as i am here to learn.. MARKER Specifications - "SHARPIE"
they really do look stupid on cars. I remember when I was 15 I bought a car that had cooling fans wired up with them.. correct size wire.. good clean taped up wire nut connections.. but looked so stupid I had to cut them off immediately
Chris. I'm a dumb ass. So if I see weird stuff happening with the factory wiring.i make a mess by wiring around the factory harness because I don't know how to troubleshoot the problem
Bro, can you help me with my 86 chevy. I'm not an electrician. I'm not good with wires. I need your help. Is there a way I can contact you so you can help me.
I edited out something on accident.. those crimpers I was using are not automotive .. and I was suppose to say I finally bought some real auto wire crimpers … 😞
How many people just assume old car old wiring and just bother going thru it. I do, you just go thru it you find out quickly where somebody had no clue was in there ,screwing around. You take what they did out ,you find the cause of the problem he bipassed. All fixed.
I took it out at first because I couldn’t even get the starter to crank… no ignition and 40 ohms of resistance from starter lug to fuse box.. all will be explained in a future video
The master of wiring diagrams 👍
I hate electrical but I've serious learned about half my electrical knowledge from you. Thanks homie.
I do this for a living everything from pcm/module repairs to complete wiring tucks, great work, keep up the awesome vids
This is really good info. Thank you! The diagrams make things easy to understand, too.
Awesome vid. I have to use both of these soon. Very helpful
This is a great series. You should do one for a boat now : )
Great video very interesting thanks for sharing 👍
I use Die Electric Grease on all my body and frame grounds after sanding to bare metal to keep from corrosion buildup. Works great

Great video, thanks
My previous offroader had a simple grounding cable 20cm from the battery to the chassis

It ain’t pretty but it works. And it probably looks a hell of a lot better than what I can do. Great content man.
What is the name of that lil tool you used to get that extra '87a' pin out of the 5 pin relay? #lovethesevids #goodwork

Thanks.
Chris, if you connect stainless steel to aluminum, will it corrode due to dissimilar metals?
😞

I hope you were joking about crimping away from the split on electrical terminals @5:35
