- Every youtube upload I've seen of this track has missing sections and/or dodgy transitions, so I dug into the game's files and pieced it together myself properly (it was split into like 20 different files to enable the in-game dynamic music)

God hearing this track while playing as Shulk and Rex is gonna hit SO DIFFERENT
4:57 When the boss is on its last sliver of health, your healers are down, and you're desperately trying to deal enough damage before it can TPK you.
When you’re underleveled in hard mode and hear those weird chords for 5 minutes before he pulls two sets in a row to wipe after an hour.

Assuming eunie and taion aren’t on a healer class, I just interlink them and use liberty wing and if I can start a chain attack. Surprisingly good strategy
@@TheSugarGod That's something I do sometimes as well. It's especially useful when multiple characters are down at once. Getting the memory lockets also helps a lot.
@@TheSugarGod my play for most of the game was mio and noah healers eunie taion dps for this express purpose, I essentially had 2 backup healers for emergency
This song makes me think of Shulk, Melia, Elma, Rex, Lora, Noah, and Matthew all rolling up for the biggest chain attack of the century

THIS is what I've been looking for. No one else seems to have added the pre-end phase part to the finale track and it drove me mad. That was literally the part that made me love the song

I remember when I first played this game, I ran into a unique monster, and genuinely had the most intense fight I’ve ever had in any of the Xenoblade games, I nearly died on so many occasions.
But with that final bit blaring through as I fought and fought to the end, I somehow prevailed and it’s one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had.
4:07 how the fuck did this guy fit one of the most amazing guitar licks ever heard in like 10 measures!
We had electric guitar and brass instruments, electric guitar and string instruments, and now electric guitar and flutes. Bless this series.

Well I think of it more like an additive process rather than a change. The original YWKON had other elements sure but the primary focus of that song was always on the guitar. YWRON had just as much guitar but had more of an orchestral sound backing it. YWKON:F has the guitar and orchestral elements still but now the melody is trading off to the flute and violin sometimes, and it also has a prominent piano part like the DLCs. This song to me represents everything I love about the xenoblade music, and the new styles they've experimented with over time, all culminated into one (through years of training) and is my favorite song in the series.
The ending perfectly represents how it feels to finally have an upload with all of the parts in proper place. It's seriously a huge triumph and relief.
Absolute madlad included the pre end section and the transition into the end of the song, not all heroes wear capes

@@andrewnguyenstudentmhs889 I think it actually marks the transition between two separate in-game music tracks (the normal version of this song vs the high tension variant). One of the few cases where I can really excuse that lazy-feeling key change trick :P
Oh wow… this one actually is perfect… 10 out of 10. Of all the ones i’ve heard, this one is the closest to how it plays in the game… and the very last part even has some notes i’ve never heard before and it transitions seamlessly. Bless you.
4:57 is the best part of this music. normaly in game it will looped in final section in boss battle. but this one is so perfect to be final climax of the song >w
I just realised the new dlc would also have some more music. Hopefully we will get the "you will recall our names~finale" we all thought wed get originally

I thought there'd be a recall finale too before but the Japanese names of these songs leads me to believe there won't be. In Japanese, You Will Recall Our Names is just called You Will Know Our Names Again (or something to that effect) and it was only localized to Recall. So they're all technically You Will Know Our Names

The thing that I love about the soundtrack of the Xenoblade series is that it has electric guitars, drums, pianos, flutes AND strings, this isn't something you can find everyday

When I first noticed the music was dynamic (because the last part repeated for a while as 2 of my party members struggled to drag everyone over the finish line lol) I realized it was gonna be a pain to find a properly mixed version of this song that I would like. Thanks for your hard work!

Most of the versions of this song on RUclips are incomplete (I think they’re based on leaked files pre-release) and are missing the awesome guitar solo at the end.
to be fair, this song is much more complex than any other song in the game. Even after fighting hundreds of uniques I still found new parts I never heard before all the time.

You caught me lol, I found it in the files and I'm pretty sure it's unused. It fits well as part of the outro though, so I'm assuming that's where it was supposed to go - maybe the official soundtrack release will prove me wrong though 🤷
Nope I’ve actually heard this part in game but it’s kind hard to get if you finish the health bar too fast or your too busy hoping they don’t charge that ultimate attack up before you kill them
I actually think I did hear this one once in game but it’s hard to get if you drain the hp too fast
Only plays if you actually kill the monster at the end of the "pre-end" music. Very hard to time. Or maybe theres some other requirement but thats what happened for me

this OST really should have been called You Will Finally Know Our Names instead of just adding - Finale at the end of the title
I'm 90% sure these are just the file names, meaning they're not fully official yet. The OST will probably give a real name once its released for sale or something
@@fgvcosmic6752 no, this song is officially titled You Will Know Our Names - Finale. Nintendo posted parts of some songs from the game with titles, and this song was one of them. Some of the others were The Weight of Life and A Formidable Enemy

Nobody has heard this because everyone is long gone into Chain Attack before they get to it. I never even thought about it in the game, but the other soundtrack videos are lazy and just put the easy repeatable parts in. Well done!

Literally the only proper upload of this theme where the transitions feel like they do in the game and has all sections. Will tide over until the OST release thanks! Only minor thing is that RUclips must've slightly ruined the quality because it's slightly lower quality than the game files but over than that I'll take it

I hate that the game files don’t have version that blend all parts of the tracks because it drives me crazy when the song misses parts! Like the climax or the ending climax when the enemy is low on health.
