My mamaw made this all the time, she passed when i was 3 & i am 47 now. Well people still talk about what a good cook she was. I made this pie for my dad a few years ago for Thanksgiving. He looked at me & said "it's like momma is still here" that felt so good.
For anyone still waiting for Ms. Lori's cookbook, please be patient with the process and understand that it is a lovely book and worth waiting for. I am truly enjoying mine and it will become a family treasure.

Glad you are feeling better. Miss Lori you are such a blessing to me. I found you when my daughter was diagnosed with cancer. Finding you and watching your videos has helped pass the time spent waiting in the hospital and during chemo. My daughter is in remission now. Thank you for being there for me.
My great grand mother and great aunt made those egg custard pies when I was a little girl ...they were sooo good. My favorite aunt lived in Garvin county Okla. Your new kitchen additions are beautiful. Another idea for the back splash would be to paint it barn red, then do the same color as you cabinets as the second coat. When you distress you would see the red peeking through. That would blend the two together nicely. 🙂❤️
Another winner. So much nostalgia. So much love. Egg custard pies are delicious. My grandmother had to make them regularly for my grandfather and her large family. You mother is waiting for you in Heaven. It will be a great day of rejoicing and celebrating. The cookbook looked so enticing that I ordered it from eBay. Thank you for being you.
Beautiful remodel and new cooling/heating feature. I like old cook books too. I have one that is still packed up that belonged to my dad's mom. Love that you're connected back with your mom's family and that they told you that you basically sound like your mom. Such a blessing! Thank you Lord!
I can't put into words how grateful I am for this recipe...my grammy died when I was young and my favorite was her "cheese" pies... I have her recipe book but guess what's not actually written down... I made your recipe and cried as I ate it because 23 years later I finally found it with you Miss.Lori! It has inspired me to break away from convience meals back to the meat and potatoes cooking and baking I love to eat but felt was beyond what I could do. You have truly inspired me! Oh Mrs. Lori, I look forward to every show you do. You really touch my heart. I miss my Mama so bad it hurts. We did everything together. She was my best friend, as well as my dear Mama. Can’t help but cry, GOD bless you & Mr. Brown. 🙏❤️❤️🙏🇺🇸😘😘
Lori you are one of the sweetest ladies on Gods green earth, mentioning Tammys video of her Momma talking giving her her sponge cake recipe....yes, it was an endearing video for us to get to hear her Momma. I never knew of your story of your Momma, thank you for sharing with us....some fine day up yonder your Momma will greet you with open arms. God bless you, and God bless Tammy.

One Christmas, my sister got a tape recorder. She accidentally left it on and the entire tape is filled with Christmas conversations around the phone and the living room. What a great treasure. I love red in the kitchen too.
Miss Lori, hope you get to feeling better real soon. I love your kitchen, and your Idea of stressing out the tin back splash. It will be beautiful just like you. GOD BLESS YOU and Mr. Brown, I LOVE YOU BOTH and Would LOVE TO MEET BOTH OF YOU SO MUCH.
Your idea for red backsplash would be gorgeous! I just love red. It will really pull out the red in the knobs and picture. So glad you are feeling better. God bless you and Mr Brown. Your story about your Mama made me tearful and sad you never knew her.She will be first in line to welcome you into heaven 🤗
Your kitchen is gorgeous and cozy. I wouldn’t change a thing. Your husband and son adore you to give you the gift of beautiful kitchen from which you create delicious gifts for them. These chatty videos are my favorite.
With the gray cabinets, the chop block counter, the brick look back, I think it is pretty like it is. Another texture/color might be a little much. You could prop it in place to check out the look before you permanently placed it. It could be beautiful, but, I’d do an area temporarily first. Your story about your mom touched my heart. I had as near a perfect mom as possible…… and her mom was an amazing grandmother. I was SO blessed. I hope my children can say they were, too, blessed by a good mother. I certainly tried! You and Mr. Brown are so sweet! Y’all bless a lot of lives.
Was thinking…….. the tin tile look might be really neat on the ceiling directly above your wood stove, or you kitchen stove. The pretty tiles were used in that capacity in the past as a “smoke” deflector. Thought it might be a new twist to your idea.
Thank you Ms Lori... for reading 📚 those Beautiful and Heartfelt words... I could only imagine how my girls see me... I lived my young years exactly that way... I Thank GOD 😊 for my Blessings... Blessings to you and Mr Brown...
Praying Lori is better soon. I’m a nurse and when I get a stomach bug, I take 2 probiotic capsules for first dose, then 1 cap about 12 hrs later. The 2nd one isn’t usually needed, but I take it anyway.
Love old cookbooks. Kitchen is awesome. Whatever you decide with the backsplash if you don't like it redo it! Glad your feeling better! Absolutely love watching your videos. May God bless and keep you!
Lori I am so happy for you with your kitchen update, I think a red backdrop would be nice.God Bless you and your family. Hope you feel better. Prayers up
I have an old flip phone with my mom's voice on it. She passed in 2010. On my current phone I have voicemails from my Dad and my Mama Pearly Alice. I lost my Dad 3 years ago. My Mama will be 96 in August but she has Dementia and she doesn't know who I am anymore. Every so often I listen to them but it tears me up so much.
Jeri , I feel for you, i know what your going through, my mom didnt know me or my name for 4 years before she passed. It tears you apart when she calls you that man or he's mean for taking her keys away. Its hard , but you have to be there for them. I guess it was my turn, i'm the only child. for better or worse. I made all the decisions. Its my fault. You can only do what you think is right, I had my moms brother threaten to shoot me for treating his sister that way. Its hard. Im making it, I still have many regrets, but you have to take care of loved ones. I wish you peace . Ron ps i'd sure like a hug from her.
Praying for you Jeri 💜 1 Peter 5 [7] Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Psalms 34 [18] The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Oh! What a Treasure to have your Mother’s voice recorded! I know it upsets you to listen to it but you just have to at times. It touches my heart to see my Mother’s hand writing. I know she would not want to upset you, so just remember how fortunate you are to have this and know that you will be able to hear the “real” her forever in eternity. Do what you think Is best, the people who make mistakes are the ones out there trying to get something accomplished.None of us are perfect. My husband had Alzheimer’s and I took care of him fir 5 and 1/2 years until his care required more than I could give. But we hen he had to go to a nursing facility, I went every day to be assured that he was cared for. I would do every bit of it again. Just stay true to yourself and know there are people who truly understand.

I cried Ms. Lori😢 Ya know, my mother has passed too and this video made me think of her and I miss her so❤️ And ya know what else, her name is Laurie too. Glad you are feeling better! I saw Ms Tammy's video on her Mother's sponge cake. It was a beautiful tribute to her Mother. When you were putting your pies into the oven, I held my breath. If that was me I would have spelt the custard. Your kitchen make over is lovely. Your mini split is going to be a great addition to your home. God Bless you & Mr. Brown.
Love you new kitchen and your idea with the tin. That will look beautiful. I watch Collard Valley Cooks also. She is a gem. Love how she just cooks on her video's like a day in the life. What brands does your husband recommend? We live in a mobile home in California in the mountains where it gets 110 plus in the peak of summer and have been considering one.
@@Acadian.FrenchFry me too! I'm on the valley floor in south San Joaquin county. Soooo hot. I have traditional a/c but this open concept great room could sure use a boost. Going to start studying up on it.
@@Dindasayswhynot Oh yeah you get really hot out there for long stretches of time. I'm up by Lake Berryessa in Napa in the mountains and for about 2-4 weeks a year we peak between 110-118. Being in the mountains we get micro climates and so me and my neighbors here rely on our thermometers as the local weather tower is always several degrees off from where we are. But, now with these fires every year we also live off of our generator for long stretches in that heat. Last year we had the fire on our street and almost half the homes out here burned and had no power for a month and a half. The fire has destroyed our power lines. Even though they are restored they still shut off our power often during fire season (which we're in now, just had a fire up the road last week). Our generator cannot handle the AC unit (we have a Trane). So I think maybe a nice small mini split in one room will help so much if we can run the generator off that.
@@Acadian.FrenchFry I wonder if you could power it with solar I need to do more studying up on it. Mr Brown, please share more about yours and how you are powering it. @WhipporwillHoller, Ms Brown
I painted an old chest of drawers. It kinda looks like dark red-black cherry this is how I did that: Prime Bright red until until good coverage and throughly dry then I: Mixed black craft paint those little bottles with glaze (I didn’t even use much of that little bottle) And painted over the red until I got the desired look: When that was throughly dry then I applied a clear protective coat. If you have any extra tin just experiment. I have no doubt that whatever you and Mr Brown decide to do it will turn out lovely. Can’t wait to see it! ♥️♥️♥️
Love your videos and yes, I love to hear my mama's and grandma's and great grandma's voice.. I was blessed to record them all many many years ago.. Bless your heart... love ya dearly....
My mommy was a Wilson and my daddy was a Akers Marrion Brock was my cousin he was such a great gospel singer we believed in going to church and the Lord Jesus always helped us praying for miss Lorri
I have that cookbook! I love it as well. I also have an Ohio Grange cookbook from 1938. When I first started reading it, I noticed the recipes would call for 5c of cinnamon or 10c of salt. I finally realized it meant size of a nickel or size of a dime. They just measured it out on their palms. 😊
i love the tin for a backsplash. maybe try the red on black on a piece of scrap wood or cardboard and just lean it up there behind the sink for a few days, see what you think. 🤷🏼♀️
Miss lori and mr. Brown you have blessed us, your love shows , love you. My first thought was rustic red for the backsplash and the whole new kitchen was a great idea.
Miss Lori, when you were speaking about the old cookbooks on your shelf, I remembered that my Grandmother had an old cookbook which was always special to me as a child. You know how the things one's Grandparents had were magical in their own ways. You can imagine my surprise when you picked up the cookbook you used during this episode and there was the very same green cookbook I grew up with that my Grandmother had in her kitchen. Thanks for the memory! And, of course, be well to you and Mr. Brown.
Congrats on your 42 YEAR ANNIVERSARY . We had our 66 in AUGUST SO KNOW HOW YOUR FEELING,HOPE MS LAURIE GETS BETTER SOON .GOD BLESS BOTH, LOVE YOUR CHANNEL…
Ms. Lori, please don't worry yourself about the cookbook. It will be worth the wait and people like myself understand it is out of your control at this point. Just keep on doing what you do best....Making great food and making us smile.
Ms. Lorie your are such a beautiful woman inside and out, you radiate what a truly Godly woman should be. I have no doubt that I was meant to watch this particular video today. My own mother passed away on Good Friday this year 2022 and when you spoke of never hearing your mommas voice it made me cry because it took me right back to the very last thing I heard my mother say and it was “I love you Leanne” as I was walking out the door and I said “I love you too Mom” and as I got in the car I knew it would be the very last time I’d hear my mommas voice. I have no idea how I knew that but I just did. Sure enough a week later I was at my mommas beside telling her what an amazing mother she had been and now was her time and it was okay for her to go. She was unconscious but I know she heard me because ironically that very morning I also held my brand new first ever granddaughter and I told my mom how sweet and beautiful she is and my momma smiled it was my sign that she was hearing everything I was telling her. So no matter if someone is unconscious or even in a coma it is very possible that they can hear you. Apparently hearing is one of the last things that shuts down in the body. I was very comforted knowing my mom knew I was there and heard my voice and I was able to tell her all the things in my heart which I know she already knew but it felt good to tell her. After that smile I told my dad she can hear us!! I was so excited with that knowledge. I had said goodbye for the last time when she was still with us and I tried to walk out of the hospital room I got halfway and my body froze. I took a deep breath and prayed God help me! I heard my dad in one of the cheeriest voices I think I’ve ever heard him say to mom ok sweetie I’m going to walk Leanne out and go for now but I’ll be back in the morning and he kissed her it was one of the sweetest moments I’d ever heard I had my back to them and I knew I had to keep moving forward and I walked out of the room and dad came out and I hugged him(we aren’t a family of huggers or ones to show a lot of outward affection)it was a special moment. Of course the tears had been flowing down my face the whole time and as we removed our gowns and all the hospital protective getup that they make you out on a nurse brought me a box of tissues and I took a few tissues and she said oh take the box I think you may need it. She was right I cried the whole way home and the next morning around 7:30am I had an incredibly sharp pain in my right side I had no idea what was wrong so I sat and sipped some water to see if it would go as fast as it came over me. All of a sudden the pain was gone and I had a profound feeling of peace like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Not a care in the world just feeling very blessed and tranquil I closed my eyes because I knew this was something to pay attention to. Even as I type this it sounds strange and surreal and it truly was. I thought of my mom and believe she was with me despite being hundreds of miles apart. I felt such a strong feeling of being calm and at peace, somehow I knew it was mom telling me she believed in God and that she was on her way to heaven. My mom and I had many discussions about it before and she told me she didn’t believe and I would try to tell her about my testimony and I said I will see you again if you truly believe with your whole heart and ask for God. So I think it was God’s way of letting me know mom was okay. Mom and I have always been close I was her first born and only daughter and we didn’t always agree but we always loved each other. At around 10:30am I felt that feeling of peace leave me it was so strange and not 35mins later I got a call from my dad sobbing saying mom had passed. I told him I already knew. He asked how and I told him about my experience and he said he had just arrived at the hospital at 11 and had just got in to the room and took moms hand and told her he was there and he said he was talking about the weather or something and all of a sudden he saw her stop breathing and she was gone. He called for a nurse and he said then they room was filled with medical personnel and they confirmed what he already knew and he called me right away. I wish he had just sat with mom as the transition time happened but he probably panicked understandably mom and dad had been married 56 years they were a wonderful example of what a marriage should look like and amazing parents and grandparents and my dad is continuing on as an amazing great grand Poppa to our sweet baby girl Alora who carries the tradition of having the same middle name as my mom, myself and my daughter. It amazing to me how I was grieving the loss of my mother and extremely excited and thrilled to be a grandma, such an incredible rollercoaster of emotions but feeling truly blessed the entire time. Thank you Ms. Lorie for this video it was truly an incredible video and with you sharing so much of yourself I wanted to share some of our deepest experiences and emotions with you too. May God bless and keep you & Mr. Brown happy for many many years to come you bring so much joy and happiness through your videos and I love the realness of them!! It’s like being right there with you.🥰🇨🇦❤️
I love your kitchen remodel 😊 I have my mama's Joy of Cooking cookbook that she had forever. It's in a ziplock because it was so well used it started falling apart. I love it!
I love your new kitchen renovation. The cabinets & colors are perfect. Jeremy & Mr. Brown did a fantastic job on all the cabinets & woodwork. I think your idea for the red backsplash will look so pretty. Thank you for the reading from Our Daily Bread. You have a very soothing voice & hearing you read is like music. Hugs to you two!
I was so pleased to see you have a copy of The American Woman’s Cookbook. I have the 1944 edition (gold cover) and love the memories it brings up of my grandma’s cooking.
This is the second time I'm watching this beautiful video. I'm so glad you're feeling better! I have the same cookbook, same year, too... as my Mother cooked from that book as a young housewife. The timing of your video, and my watching it, is one of significance to me, as May 6th will mark the sixth anniversary of the end of my Mother's journey here on Earth, and when God called he into His service. My Mother's final years were very difficult for her, and I was with her, taking care of her every step of the way, even up to the end. I know she would have loved your videos, and she would have loved that custard pie, as she made them too, from time to time. Thank you so much for your video. May God shower you and Mr. Brown and all your family with His abundant blessings!
i am a lover of old cookbooks too. My collection is close to 200 now. And I do have this cookbook you are using today! You have given me a wonderful idea...and that is to cook recipes from each one. i write in the margins and date the moment. My grandmother did this and she would mention my grandfather's reaction. Wonderful reading! Thank you
What you read about Mama's was beautiful. I am one who wished I never heard or knew my mama as she was an evil abusive person. And let me tell you, I raised my BABIES. I showered them with the love the grace the good Lord gave me the common sense to have beautiful babies. And Ms. Lori that was a beautiful story. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I know this post is a year old but I had to leave a comment! I just recently discovered your posts and binge watching them all after work! There no words to describe how you exemplify God! You are truly a light in dark times and a true friend to people who follow you! I learn a lot by watching you and your husband I am really trying to lean in to your way of life in small steps gardening for me is a lot of trial an error! I live in Texas and extreme heat is killing a lot of flowers and vegetables I’m not sure if a green house would my whole back yard gets direct sunlight, I will keep trying!
I very much understand how you feel about wanting to be able to hear your mama’s voice. My Mother was completely Deaf and when she tried to learn how to talk someone said that she sounded like a cow. My mother never tried to talk again. Mother passed in 2012 and when I finally get home I figure one of two things is going to happen. Either everyone is going to use sign language or I will finally get to hear my mother’s voice. Either way it’s going to be good. 🥰🤟🏻 watching you and Mr. Brown doing just everyday things 🫶🏻
Life is Sweet! So nice to set a spell in yonder WhipoorwillHoller... To hear the birds and watch the leaves fluttering in the breezes and smell those pies wafting their aromas...and to join MrBrown as he perfects his handiwork. You're both a blessing in my life! 🙏💕
Ms Lori, God bless you in feeling better because I can see how hard you're trying. The custard pies look simply delish & your new kitchen redo is homespun & beautiful.
I got a French mini split for the inside of my home, installed by Sears about 9 years ago that looks like yours. There is the AC unit inside that operates with a remote control, a condenser in the backyard, and condenser lines on the far side of the house. Unlike yours, mine does not function as a heating unit. I have a separate heater located inside a closet that I never use since it doesn't get hot enough where I live. Miss Lori, be careful whenever you go out to eat. The reason I hardly ever eat out is because I noticed that food service people don't always wash their hands after using the bathroom even though they are supposed to, and my friends have commented about this too.
Not good to hear Miss Lori has been sick! You both take care of yourselves. Be glad to see Lori talking about her Mr. Brown while bustling around in her kitchen making some good food again.
You both bring so much joy to my life and I thank you for that. You bring back so many wonderful memories of my years growing up. My parents were farmers and following you, brings back those days I cherish with so much love. Thank you for being a blessing. God bless you.💜❤️
Another classic pie from my childhood that I do not hear about anymore; you have covered butterscotch, but pies such as chess and gooseberry have dropped off the radar. My dad always enjoyed mincemeat at Thanksgiving, however he was pretty much on his own on that one. I love the nostalgia of reliving some of these old and pretty much extinct pie recipes; thank you!!😊
Glad you are feeling better now. I love your old cookbook! I think that is the same as my mom's! At least it sure looks like it! I inherited that cookbook and treasure it. Lots of fond and happy memories! I am pretty sure that her mom gave her that cookbook on her 18th birthday in 1946. May God bless you and Mr. Brown! Thanknyou for sharing!
As soon as you showed the cookbook I recognized it! I emigrated from England to Canada in 1968 with my husband who was doing a post graduate degree there. One of the professor’s wives gave me the cookbook so I could be familiar with North American recipes . I love your videos!
Lee Ann glad you had a mama who loved you and had you to always feeling wanted. I'm sure you miss her. I missed Daddy after he died. My mother I grew up with her in the house, but I never really knew her. She wasn't trying to have a relationship with me. I was her late life baby that came along and was just in her way of doing what she wanted to do. So I figure my mourning happened all those years.
Oh Lee Ann, I'm so sorry for your loss. My mom passed almost 5 years ago. I have one of her cookbooks, I go get it, read it and made several of the recipes out of it, makes me have fond memories! XO
Ms. Lee Ann, I'm so, so sorry to hear you lost your sweet mother, but especially right here before Mother's Day. My mom passed years ago in March and Mother's Day was still so difficult, I can't even imagine this close. Praying for God's peace that passes understanding to envelope your broken heart. 💗
Thanks, Ms. Lori. I DO have that cookbook from my mom. It was hers, and she gave it to me. I knew what it was when I saw the color of the cover, and the finger cutouts on the pages! My husband is enjoying it too! I believe God and Grammy sent you to me thru RUclips! God Bless You! Please keep your videos coming...
What a beautiful job on the KITCHEN, Mr. Brown. Prayers for your lovely wife.
Oh Mrs. Lori, I look forward to every show you do. You really touch my heart. I miss my Mama so bad it hurts. We did everything together. She was my best friend, as well as my dear Mama. Can’t help but cry, GOD bless you & Mr. Brown. 🙏❤️❤️🙏🇺🇸😘😘
Awe Bless your heart

I love your kitchen and all the colors. I am sure with the Backsplash you and Mr Brown will do an awesome job no matter color. ❤️
Leaning leaning leaning on his everlasting arms...ah peace and tranquility
I love that song too!
@@artsymamanana I really love your new kitchen. I hopy you kept that old sink for your greenhouse! And the barn style cabinet doors are great.
I try think you have a great idea. Or you could find a reddish stain and give it a go thin coat til it looks like you want it to.
I was singing that too from Ms Lori’s music.
leaning on the everlasting arms. what a fellowship what joy devine . leaning on the everlasting arms!!
LOVE LOVE RED❤❤❤❤❤

Spending time with you and Mr. Brown always brings a peace to my heart that makes everything right with my world. God bless you both.
I know what you mean. it brings tears to my eyes. I have a old phone with my sisters voice on it and my dad.
Praying for you Jeri 💜

@@brendamorris7263 I have my mom with me and she has Dementia and I have physical limitations that I can't help her with everything she needs and I don't know. Now up here she isn't going to have all those bills anD Medicaid I don't believe will accept her, so what are we to do??????? I cried Ms. Lori😢 Ya know, my mother has passed too and this video made me think of her and I miss her so❤️ And ya know what else, her name is Laurie too. If God gives me a little girl, and I’ve prayed, I am going to give her my mothers name. I’ve always thought it was so beautiful and is one of my favorites. This video really touched my heart. God bless you and Mr. Brown and your homestead✝️❤️ Oh, and I love the cabinets and the tin🩵

I've enjoyed it a lot. Also want to thank you for your video's. Always have a cup of coffee while watching them and then get up and cook and bake something. Stay safe and stay well. Glad to hear your feeling better. God bless.

My best friend gave me that cookbook just a month or two before she passed away. Special in so many ways!
My Hubby is a refrigeration engineer. He loves the mini splits. He calls them (ductless). He is listening and said great job and agrees with where you put it. The kitchen is so nice Mrs.Lori. Your Fella’s worked hard. God Bless y’all.
Thank you, and thank your husband!
Love you both ,glad you are feeling better love the kitchen what a gift your son has. Love love custered pie . ❤🐦🙏
I painted an old chest of drawers. It kinda looks like dark red-black cherry this is how I did that:
Prime
Bright red until until good coverage and throughly dry then I:
Mixed black craft paint those little bottles with glaze (I didn’t even use much of that little bottle) And painted over the red until I got the desired look:
When that was throughly dry then I applied a clear protective coat.
If you have any extra tin just experiment. I have no doubt that whatever you and Mr Brown decide to do it will turn out lovely. Can’t wait to see it! ♥️♥️♥️
Custard pie brings back so many childhood memories. I just love that pie! I will try your recipe.
Love your videos and yes, I love to hear my mama's and grandma's and great grandma's voice.. I was blessed to record them all many many years ago.. Bless your heart... love ya dearly....

Yup still do it that way...
So pleased to know you are getting better, and well done to mr brown for helping in the kitchen, looks really good ,Enjoy your custard pie.xxx
i love the tin for a backsplash. maybe try the red on black on a piece of scrap wood or cardboard and just lean it up there behind the sink for a few days, see what you think. 🤷🏼♀️
I surely pray you feel better.😢and give you strength in all you love birds do.GOD BLESS
That butcher block is beautiful, and I love the door knob ! You are such a blessing to so many. You have no idea how far your ripple reaches.
Brown.
This is a wonderful book, full of wonderful recipes!
Yes, its something to always cherish from your grandmas

It’s like being right there with you.🥰🇨🇦❤️
Leanne, I just read your entire story said here; tears! Thank you and may God Bless you and yours.
Thank you for sharing the love of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. ❤️🙏
Thank you
I was so pleased to see you have a copy of The American Woman’s Cookbook.
Kitchen is beautiful, I love the idea of adding red as a backsplash..Love it!
i am a lover of old cookbooks too.
IM SO SORRY,
I know this post is a year old but I had to leave a comment!
Your kind words fill my heart,
Yes, this has been a hard summer, God Bless you and yours, xoxoxo
Glad your feeling better, your husband did a wonderful job. It looks great.
My favorite pie. I just miss helping my grandmother make them and eating them with her. This brings back good memories.
Love your kitchen.
The new kitchen is very nice and the cupboards and countertop are beautifully done!
The stone backsplash you already have looks beautiful! No need to add anything else! The entire kitchen looks perfect and rustic as is!
I love your kitchen and I think the tin painted black and antiqued barn red would look good. Lori, you are a blessing to us and so is Danny.
You made me want to pull out my momma’s old cookbook and look at it. It’s called Searchlight Recipe Book. Copyright 1952.
I love Tammy with Collard Valley Cooks! She is amazing. And so are you. Love both of your channels.
That's true, but we can't worry so much, just be careful
Not good to hear Miss Lori has been sick! You both take care of yourselves. Be glad to see Lori talking about her Mr. Brown while bustling around in her kitchen making some good food again.
You both bring so much joy to my life and I thank you for that. You bring back so many wonderful memories of my years growing up. My parents were farmers and following you, brings back those days I cherish with so much love. Thank you for being a blessing. God bless you.💜❤️
Wow, thank you
I like your idea of the back splash being painted black with the red over it and distressed.
We have a well now never used any other water 💦 it’s good water we grew up without air conditioning but it gets hot now mommy got one at 70 years old
Another classic pie from my childhood that I do not hear about anymore; you have covered butterscotch, but pies such as chess and gooseberry have dropped off the radar.
I want to tell you those pies are gorgeous and delicious looking I will be making one soon feel better my friend God bless y’all ❤
I loss my Mother three weeks ago. Hard to listen to but I made it thru. Thank you!! Keep it coming. Very sad.
God bless you. I am so sorry. 😢
So very sorry for the loss of your Mother.
I absolutely LOVE the mini-split that I put in my new 30x24 cabin. Quite & very energy efficient:)
Antique white, for your back splash. You need a light color for contrast to the grey and your pop of red.😇
