23:47 The Japanese school system is much different than the American school system in terms of when it starts and how its organized its not anything specific to the realm of My hero. Their school year starts in April and summer starts near the end of July. Then it starts back up again in early September and since summer isn't a break between years they still get homework. Then they get winter break in December. Then come back for the third term which goes from January to March. Then the cycle repeats in April. It's called the 3 term system if you want to know more about it. But American students have no right to complaint about how tough or long school is when you look at the Japanese school system. They get way less breaks and they get homework over the summer.

16:30 No, that’s not how invisibility works. The light still passes through the retina, it just doesn’t bounce off of you. Remember, that’s how you see things. You see the light that bounces off of things. So it doesn’t bounce off of her, rendering her invisible, but it still passes through her retinas.
The legend Mirio.💪🏾✨ 12:35 Happy they are recognizing how much hard work, concentration, and commitment Mirio put into his growth as a fighter and Hero. Important. P.S Nahid salty cause Todoroki getting all of Rana's love lmaoo.
The Todoroki commentary was a bit harsh. I think future developments will hopefully make the guys like him more. Mirio being closest to all might even among the current Pros is something I really like, especially because of their similarities
I don’t think he’s really closest number one though because there’s no way that Mirio is beating Hawks, Endeavor, Best Jeanist, EdgeShot, Mirko(Rumi), basically like the top 7 pros! I think that was kind of like an exaggerated thing that Eraserhead said to hype up his character.
@@vinnythetall3242 I think Mirio could have trouble with Hawks due to the nature of their quirks, but he can still feasibly beat him. The rest of them, other than Endeavor, he has shown to definitely be capable of matching up to/beating them (like, what can Best Jeanist even do against him?). Also, becoming the number 1 hero is not just about combat power, but also personality etc. Hawks has shown that he isn't interested in being number 1.
kekenoob that’s not what I mean I just mean that he hasn’t seen enough of the world and makes judgments in his actions! Like I don’t see any of the top 5 pro heroes losing their quirk like he did or going about fighting overhaul the way he did it was reckless and showed his inexperience being a teenager! He rushed in with no plan and his judgment was clouded by the fact that he just wanted to save one girl which is fine because that would be something the symbol of peace would do meaning All Might however I don’t see him matching up to the top 5 pro heroes at all in Combat or decision making. I would say that yes he’s close to being number 1 in terms of spirit and ambition and that’s about it.
@@vinnythetall3242 na na na nah you're mistaken. That's what it means to be number one Hero! Just remember that fight with All for One. All Might could dodge that "killable" attack, but he choosed to not just because of *ONE Civilian* If the other top Heroes "wouldn't do that" so probably that is the reason why Aizawa said that quote about Mirio.
So in Japan, where this takes place, school starts in April and is all year round with breaks in between. This explains why they had their summer break while also still being first years.
Hagakure isn't invisible by letting light pass through her. She has reflective invisibility. Light doesn't pass through her. That is why she got the reflective special move that can blind people. And can reflect lasers and shit. She is an awesome person to team up with Aoyama exactly because light just wouldn't pass through her but would reflect his laser beam. Her invisibility basically works more like cloaking on the helicarriers and jets and the bus in MCU. You can still see the helicarrier when you are inside but on the outside it disappears. Harry's invisibility cloak also works like that. The golden trio can still see each other under the cloak. That is why when she eats food you don't see the chewed food floating in midair. Light is a complicated topic anyway since we don't see the actual color of things but the only color that a thing is not. For example what we see as a blue marker is actually a marker that is all the colors WITHOUT blue and is thus absorbing all the colors and reflecting/rejecting the blue light into our eyes making us see blue. I think that might be why the author is reluctant to go into details of her power. That will need at least half an episode on it's own to explain how it works.
i know this was filmed a couple months ago, so they probably already found out but... in japan the school year is from april to march, rather than september to july. so their summer vacation was earlier on in their first year, rather than the end of it like in the west
So, i don't know about invisible girl, but during the licencing exams, she did this weird flash ultime move thing with a few mirrors she had in her costume. So rather than light straight up passing through her i think she can manipulate how light behaves around her to a certain extent. Not sure how that affects her seeing stuff though
One "flaw" I would say for miros quirk is that if light travels through his eyes, and he can't see, doesn't that also mean that he can make light travell through parts of his body making them invisible? The light must bounce off an object in order for us to see it, but he phases through everything.
MIRIOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Best boy is here! Btw, probably pretty obvious by now but definitely be careful in the comments section. People have a tendency to post major spoilers, especially with the arcs to come
School in Japan works differently. They start the first semester in April and go into summer school in July and then get back to school in September to start the second semester. So basically they are in there first year.
Season 4 intros and outros are some of the best. Looking forward to seeing your response as a RUclips watcher. Excited to start S4 next week. Rana needs to be a good friend to Todoroki, dont let him get caught up in petty rivalries like his farther. Todoroki still has baggage and needs to learn important social skills to connect to the public and be a great Hero that can surpass his father. Best result is for him to achieve something his father never could and his father know he could never take credit for it.
Not sure if it helps, but invisible girl did have a slight arc, but the anime skipped it, it was an official short comedy omake comic, after Urara was assigned to draw her. Everyone gets curious what she looks like and try to find ways to figure it out, she does answer them. Meaning she can see herself somehow.
a cool detail about invisibility that i saw in a critical role stream In Exandria Unlimited Calamity, one of the characters, Cerrit, had an ability to see things that were invisible, however, being a character who couldn't use magic, they had to flavour it to make sense, so brennan lee mulligan explained it as follows the problem of invisibility, is that if light doesn't hit your retinas, you cant see, so at the very least, you have to have part of your eyes visible, even if it's the size of a pin prick, and Cerrit, had undergone training to find those tiny dots, because after all, they always move in pairs
The way the Japanese school year works is that the school year starts in the spring after winter break, instead of how the American school year starts in the fall after summer. They’re still first years, the summer vacation they had just divided the two semesters of the school year. Edit: thewiseasian1 gives a better explanation below.
Japanese schools have 3 semesters pre year and it starts in April and ends in March. Summer break is their first break for the school year when 1st semester ends and 2nd starts. They have another break between 2nd and 3rd semesters. So in the show for now they finished only 1 out of 3 semesters of their first year.
They are in Japan... Japan starts the school year during the spring not the fall. So their summer vacation is in the same point of the year as the winter/Christmas vacation in the states. With all that said that means they are still in their first year but are about halfway through it haha
i had the same questions as soon as i heard that hagakure was always invisible. Shes obviously tangible so photons are touching her iris and she can see.Her warp refraction move allows her to magnify the light thats passing through her as a flash grenade. SO she has some control as to what light passes through her but she never gives off a reflection of any wavelength we can see. Actually her ability to warp that light is most likely why she hasnt gone insane since if she couldnt control it at all, she wouldnt be able to sleep very well since she can See through her own eyelids.
That's what I like about MHA. Deku has to continue to prove himself to be worthy of One For All and now with Mirio's introduction he now has to compete with someone who is arguably a more worthy successor to All Might. It makes things very interesting.
Toru Agakure invisibility is more of a by product of her real quirk, light reflection...It doesn't affect her, just what is around her...it also explain her ultimate and how she could have pass the test vs robots !
How does it explain how she beat robots? She cant shoot light beams ot anything, whatever we thought about her power in episode 5 is the same solution we have for how she beat them now
the school year in japan starts in the spring. that's why summer camp doesn't mean a new year of school same classes same year till after Christmas and new year episodes in most anime
To answer your question about the invisibility light problem, well, the answer isn't exactly satisfying but it really is, "It just works." Quirks don't have to have consistent physics in this universe, some people are just born lucky and their powers work "as intended" with no downside. Mirio is an unusual hero because he's able to make his quirk work extremely well despite starting without most of the "required secondary powers" that you would assume he needs. Hagakure isn't the only case of her powers making the things they do "just work" either. Todoroki doesn't burn himself with his fire, and Bakugou doesn't turn his bones into jelly every time time he rocket jumps. Sometimes it just be like that.
Sam Eulde We still need that whole Dabi being Shoto’s brother confirmation then would get even more about the Todoroki’s scene possibly another Shoto arc
Hope Mickey returns for season 4. I also met to compliment you Normies on your set up I love all your pops and statues. I'm glad you guys reacted to the finale I like the character Miro
well in mirio's case light passes through his eyes, invisigirl's skin has the power to refract light in a way that we can't see her but refracting doesn't mean "bouncing off"; if it would bonce off of her than you are right she couldn't see either but since the light is refracted some of it is absorbed by invisigirl eyes so she can see or at most she is partially blind
The real question about invisible girl.... if eraserhead uses his power on her when shes walking around totally invisible, will she appear and be naked? Would mineta survive the nosebleed he would get?
mirio's quirk lets things go through him but you can still see him. the invis girl (sorry i forgot her name) is just invisible. things cannot go trough her. so thats why she can see things

Rana: I just noticed the “UA” on their outfits
I love how they just roasted the shit out of Shoto just to mess with Rana!
My boy shoto didn't deserve that but rana did
23:47 The Japanese school system is much different than the American school system in terms of when it starts and how its organized its not anything specific to the realm of My hero.
How's the north american sistem?
@@rivercrow1110 We start in September, in November have we have Thanksgiving break. Then in December we have the first half of Winter break, that usually ends after January 1. In February we have Mid Winter break. In April we have Spring break and in May we have State Tests. (Depends on state and school) Then around the middle of June we have summer vacation, and repeat.
@@javencummins1426 damn, in latin america we start in march, we got winter break from july 15 to august 1 and around december 10 the school year ends. But the final exams are around mid to late november so if you pass all the exams and you didn't miss too many days you can skip classes since that time. We got a couple of days off but nothing more that 1 day or 2 except holy week in april that is like 3 or 4 days
@@rivercrow1110Wow, I didn't know school systems were so different in other places. It seem so crazy to think about it. Would school be starting now in latina American?
thewiseasian1 you probably explained better than I did
16:30 No, that’s not how invisibility works. The light still passes through the retina, it just doesn’t bounce off of you. Remember, that’s how you see things. You see the light that bounces off of things. So it doesn’t bounce off of her, rendering her invisible, but it still passes through her retinas.
Mirio is such an amazing character! Gonna be so fun watching them watch him.
The legend Mirio.💪🏾✨
12:35 Happy they are recognizing how much hard work, concentration, and commitment Mirio put into his growth as a fighter and Hero. Really nice that Marketa and Rana likes Mirio; he's a favorite of mines, top favorite. 12:46 _"I learned to predict what would happen next."_ I didn't realize Mirio mentioned this early on.
Mirio should've been the main character lol
I will not stand for this Todoroki slander!
😂
So in Japan, where this takes place, school starts in April and is all year round with breaks in between. This explains why they had their summer break while also still being first years.
"In their universe"
You mean Japan?
@@leakypeach6250 I never said "in their universe", I did say this takes place in Japan though.

4:01 and that is how the normies got demonetized
Todoroki is always cool, as is Rana!
These guys aren't ready for season 4 :D
agreed!
No one was....Atleast people who are not manga readers
MIRIO TALKED ABOUT SENSE OF HUMOR. I GET IT NOW. I GET THAT REFERENCE.
AND HE TALKED ABOUT PREDICTING MOVES AAHH
For the longest time I couldn't figure out why Mirio looked so familiar, then I realized he looks like an older Lucas from Smash Bros/Mother 3.
Enjoyed watching every second of this video! lookin forward to the next on:)
i know this was filmed a couple months ago, so they probably already found out but...
in japan the school year is from april to march, rather than september to july. so their summer vacation was earlier on in their first year, rather than the end of it like in the west
The light must bounce off an object in order for us to see it, but he phases through everything.
that's not a flaw, that's a plot hole
MIRIOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Best boy is here! Btw, probably pretty obvious by now but definitely be careful in the comments section. People have a tendency to post major spoilers, especially with the arcs to come
Rheya Ruiz the virgin tamaki vs the chad mirio, i love both of them but I prefer mirio
Yeah they do. They're even worse than manga only
Rheya Ruiz Love Tamaki, but he’s shit compared to Mirio lol
the naruto vs deku rap battle said it best.
"all might should've chose Mirio it's clear"
Yay! The Big 3 are here! Mirio, Nejire and Tamaki are amazing. I'm sure that you will love them im 4th season
I think season 4 intros are the worst, especially the first one; too anime. S1-1, S2-1, S3-1, 3-2 were so great
15:00 Fun fact - Bubble Girl is actually fan made heroine, that won competition. Her original design also had a lot more boobage.
Going hard in the paint to that intro though😂😂😂
light doesnt pass through it she has the ability to control how light refracts through her
In japan, school starts in the spring~ they are in the fall (second) semester of their first year now
Hagakure's quirk is refraction, so she's basically reflecting all light that touches her, making her body invisible
*POWER* Best boy Mirio has arrived for shine.
a cool detail about invisibility that i saw in a critical role stream
In Exandria Unlimited Calamity, one of the characters, Cerrit, had an ability to see things that were invisible, however, being a character who couldn't use magic, they had to flavour it to make sense, so brennan lee mulligan explained it as follows
the problem of invisibility, is that if light doesn't hit your retinas, you cant see, so at the very least, you have to have part of your eyes visible, even if it's the size of a pin prick, and Cerrit, had undergone training to find those tiny dots, because after all, they always move in pairs
The way the Japanese school year works is that the school year starts in the spring after winter break, instead of how the American school year starts in the fall after summer. They’re still first years, the summer vacation they had just divided the two semesters of the school year. Edit: thewiseasian1 gives a better explanation below.
Mirio looks like a buff Tintin
Japanese schools have 3 semesters pre year and it starts in April and ends in March. Summer break is their first break for the school year when 1st semester ends and 2nd starts. They have another break between 2nd and 3rd semesters. So in the show for now they finished only 1 out of 3 semesters of their first year.
I’m literally sitting in the movie theater waiting to watch the new movie right now
Anyone notice that Chris looks like a black Dio in this video? From Stardust Crusaders?
In Japan the school year starts in the Spring. So they are still first years after the summer.
The music they play when Mirio is faking out Midoriya is boss lvl type music. That theme is just awesome
They are in Japan... Japan starts the school year during the spring not the fall. So their summer vacation is in the same point of the year as the winter/Christmas vacation in the states. With all that said that means they are still in their first year but are about halfway through it haha
The one day the best combatant in the class was missing.
i had the same questions as soon as i heard that hagakure was always invisible.
Thank God Bakugo wasn't around, he would be so pissed getting his ass kicked by Mirio
That's what I like about MHA. Deku has to continue to prove himself to be worthy of One For All and now with Mirio's introduction he now has to compete with someone who is arguably a more worthy successor to All Might. It makes things very interesting.
I like Mirio's dub voice. Very fitting.
4:03 The quality content strikes back
The thing about summer break in Japan is that it doesn’t separate school years in Japan. I believe a new school year starts in winter
if you like him now,,you will love him the next season.....
Toru Agakure invisibility is more of a by product of her real quirk, light reflection...It doesn't affect her, just what is around her...it also explain her ultimate and how she could have pass the test vs robots !
How does it explain how she beat robots? She cant shoot light beams ot anything, whatever we thought about her power in episode 5 is the same solution we have for how she beat them now
@@captainmarvelous7678 Overload targeting systems ? The author in the manga did says there was a kill switch on them too...

When season 4 gonna start ?
We all r waiting 😍
they already started, today Lemillion should be uploaded on patreon

Mirio: the future's gonna be awful
me: *cries in manga reader*
Mirio is in my top 3 fav characters, I lover everything about him. Golden retriever energy to the max 💕
the school year in japan starts in the spring. that's why summer camp doesn't mean a new year of school same classes same year till after Christmas and new year episodes in most anime
They're still actually in their first year. The school year in Japan starts in April
Also I love how funko Aizawa was just done with your shit during the intro 😂
I'll never look at all might the same after I seen that Johnny bravo voice over
Imma pray for y’all cause I don’t think y’all ready for the next episode. 🙏🏾😭
If you do't mind for a small spoiler to invisible girl: Her Quik is basically "light manipulation"
Yup and she potentially has the strongest quirk alongside Momo in all of 1-A.
Guys, chill. The todorokis part is still in the works. Horikoshi gotchu, fam

@@tokyo_networkdubssubs4791 yeah I mean I just wanted to say that 'the life of the Todorokis' drama is an ongoing thing until now
Hope Mickey returns for season 4. I also met to compliment you Normies on your set up I love all your pops and statues. I'm glad you guys reacted to the finale I like the character Miro
They are still first years. The school year started April 1st.
4:06 close ur eyes for this beautiful moment
well in mirio's case light passes through his eyes, invisigirl's skin has the power to refract light in a way that we can't see her but refracting doesn't mean "bouncing off"; if it would bonce off of her than you are right she couldn't see either but since the light is refracted some of it is absorbed by invisigirl eyes so she can see or at most she is partially blind
Mirio is the Rock Lee of MHA..........
LITERALLY..... 😂🤣
The student they were referring to was Stain, as I'm sure others pointed out.
