I love your name...
@@gus1thego extremely wild.
Epic name😁
Love your nick
3:15 As a Pole I've never heard of something called "Piramida Smaku" (which by the way translates to Piramid of Tastiness). This dish is probably served only in this Restaurant.
Same
Pyramid of Taste*
+1
I'm from Brazil and would love to visit Poland! hugs to the Poles! ❤️🇧🇷
Well, and i wish we had as good football national team as yours 😢
Visit Aurea in Brazil if you would like to see Poles 🇵🇱🇧🇷
Come,visit 😃
You are welcome in Poland, I want to visit Brazil, such a beauty and exotic country.

I love Poland❤️ very charming and nice people live there. Many greetings from Germany🇵🇱🇩🇪
Poland is a nice affordable country 👌 we lived there for 8 years in Warsaw and Krakow. Hugs from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 🤗 ❤ 💙
not for Poles, though 😕
inflation is bad
After 8 years it would be nice to spell correctly names of towns, at least.
@@andyf9560 I also call "Warszawa" Warsaw when I write in english.
A wiesz dlaczego?
5:20 more like "then it became part of Poland AGAIN" ;p it was Polish since the beginning of the city, with a break between 1308 and 1454 when it was under the Teutonic order rules. After the partition of Poland in 1793 western and northern Poland was annexed by Prussia (later German Empire), after Poland regain independence and was back on the map the city became "free" and after WW2 it became Polish again.
It's one of the most "Polish" city ;p The specific architecture, different from the other Polish cities than may suggest German origin is actually Dutch, it's because Gdansk used to be a member of the Hanseatic League and many migrants from the Netherland came here, but it's a different story ;p
I'm glad you are having good time in Poland, cheers mate!
super, że ktoś to tu wyjaśnił - pozdrawiam z 3miasta
Polish cities like Gdańsk Warsaw or Krakow whilst expensive compared to the smaller towns, are still 4 times cheaper then the likes of Paris. A meal fro 3 people on a nice restaurant is about €30 in Krakow and €150 in Paris for a similar meal in a similar restaurant.
no sure maybe 80, no more than that, 150 perhaps in Zürich :)
Love seeing my country being more and more pictured in western media, my favourite Polish city is Wrocław, I really recommend
I was told by my cousin it’s most beautiful city in Poland.
Sorry to saw but some polish people are racist :(
Toruń, Gdańsk
Fake, every pole knows that the best city in Poland is Bydgoszcz 💪💪💪
@@Jack-su4sz Your cousin is, sadly, a liar.
I’m from Vietnam 🇻🇳, i love Poland 🇵🇱 And St. John Paul II
Poland is very nice. I can recommend Warsaw, Lublin and Krakow. And very good beers👍
I am Polish but I have lived in Wales for 15 years. Sometimes I come to Poland to visit my parents. You showed Poland beautifully, thank you for that. You have a nice channel. Have a wonderful day 😊💕☀️👍.
@Władysławów his parents live in Poland so he was born there, how is he not Polish?
Albo 'I'm Polish', albo 'I'm a Pole', oba wyrażenia oznaczają dokładnie to samo, czyli 'jestem Polakiem'.
Bo polish to niektórzy robili their english 😂😂😂. Music can be polish, or else. No niby juz ok ale jednak boli w uszy
@Władysławów Ja urodziłam się w Polsce. Moi rodzice są Polakami i mieszkają w Polsce. Wyjechałam 15 lat temu z Polski do UK do pracy.
its always lovely to see youtuber that actually like my country
That potato meal looked amazing and enjoying these videos
You can probably get a return flight to Poland from most places in Europe for $30, if you search for a cheap flight. I've noticed places like Gdansk often have very low prices.
Similar experience to my time in Krakow!!!! Now I must visit Gdansk!
Poland applies very low VAT rates to many groups of goods and services, while some groups of products are temporarily completely exempt from VAT.An additional factor influencing the price level is the monetary policy of the local Central Bank, which does not fight for the high value of the local currency in relation to the reserve currencies, which strongly influences the high dynamics of export growth.A relatively large economy that allows to secure a significant part of consumer demand and a policy focused on the expansion of exports (undervaluing the local currency) are the secret of dynamic development over the last few decades.
im polish and I've never heard of "piramida smaku" it must be some regional food
You haven't heard of that old traditional dish!? ;)
@@kajetan9906 I like your sarcasm 😉
Grettings from Wrocław, Poland!
I'm from poland. You presented Poland very nicely
Omg! I'm from Gdańsk and even my school is in the Old Town, I'd never expect you to see you there, walking past places I see everyday
50?
Pozdrowienia! 🇵🇱♥️
So cool video! I’ve never been in Poland but I want to go there some time
/ Karlskrona 🇸🇪
From my side I really wanted to do this boat trip to your city 🇵🇱
Please just don't bring too many of your friends, we don't want the next Swedish Deluge to happen. Jokes aside, it's worth a shot, just don't come here in fall and early spring, it's quite depressing.
You can visit Lublin too, Lublin is beautiful
im from poland and i love when someone visits poland
you can visit Torun, its a medium sized city for a country like Poland ~200k residents, it has a beautifull old city, and has some good local beer (im 16 so the opinion from people that tried it) and sweets(pierniki) AND some cool sites to visit in the old town too, would reccomend
And it's the home town of Mikołaj Kopernik!
Toruń 10/10, definitely try gingerbread beer, it tastes amazing.
If you ever get back to gdansk, i suggest you go to a restaurant named "sempre" rly nice pizza there, and its next to the moving bridge, so nice place as well. Its also in sopot.
Man, I`m from Poland and I never even heard about "piramiada smaku", this is some local shit, someone trick you... And you was in Gdansk and not even been at Stocznia (Shipyard), this is the most cool place in 3 city! You have to arrive again :D
Went to krakow from London UK last month absolutely amazing will be back again
I'm from Poland and in Gdańsk evreything is pretty expensive come to city's that are less popular for tourists, it willl be cheaper
i am from kraków. nice to see you on our country
THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN GET FOR $30 IN POLAND!
Would you visit?
Sure
Firsttt
It's my hometown so I visit it every day. So nice to came to my hometown Gus
I'd say that the choice of the banner(I mean the girl) along with the title is a bit unfortunate lol
Absolutely want to visit Poland one day, maybe even live there depending on how I find it and where my life heads🏴🇵🇱
Right now everything should be much cheaper for tourists with US dollars because the polish zloty is very weak against the dollar which is equal to 4.7 zloty. It's the highest value it had in history, usually it was worth around 3.5-3.7 zł per dollar ..
The good side of the war in Ukraine
@@Infinito-sk2vh No for Poland people
3:15 I live here 50 years and I never heard about traditional polish piramida smaku :)))
Poland became more expensive in last 1-2 years, but it is still cheap comparing to other european countries.
In New York for 30$ I’ve got poor burger with fries and coke. In Poland the same would cost 10-12$.
3:16 WTF it is? As Polish I've never seen it?!
Depends my friend - answer this question in north- west than go to south-east of Poland
Maybe 10% higher prices than in Croatia, ofc outside touristic traps
You mean Denmark. While the city is very beautiful it is so linguistically unfortunate. Love to all my Polish friends.
So beutiful the polish people!
im from poland and i have never seen this food on first day lol
You can visit Toruń next time
i'm polish and have been in Gdańsk many times and funnily enough i didn't revognize half of the places he was at but it's also cool to see places where i've already been and he's now visiting
You should visit Lublin or Zamość
Im from gdańsk, and i love it.
My city!
Great to see it!
You even captured a church where I had a wedding :)
P.S. This pizza was a small one;)
yes
Prices are similar to Romania, which means are quite good prices 🙂
Exchange at the airport as well as taxi often are a rip off. Find reputable good kantor /exchange and cheap /normal taxi services. They are like hawks waiting for their pray
You just ended up the video with a look on my school
Thx for visitng poland 7 times
love the guy on the checkout in lidl
oups its me
3:49 Orunia dolna is considered to be the worst area in gdansk
My city Gdansk :) I lived in Brzezno 5 minutes from beach ⛱
I am from Wrzeszcz 👋🏻
Visit the Torun
The pizza was large and tasty🙂
I live very close to gdańsk and evry time i look behind you i am liek "Hey i was there"
you schould go to Gdańsk Orunia gurna Action Action is a shop and it's superrrrrr cheap and there is things we need, drawing, cleaning, hair, candy, makeup, school, home, studying, and wat more things!! I would Love if you would do it 😁From poland
On last scene you were standing in front of my school, ZSL Gdansk
we're 3rd least expensive country? woah, with that inflation surely not for us
Thank you from Gdańsk
3:19 I didn't know it was our traditional Polish food.
But it looks tasty.
And 26zł was a very good price in current times.
Looks more like British food; shperds pie, but with chicken.
I don't know this one either. Definitely not traditional.
If you visit poland again, I would prefer to try bigos for better experience :D
Looks really nice!
Thanks to everyone who says something like this: hugs to Poland from (country) ❤️( this country flag)
Im from Poland 💪🇵🇱
And you can only imagine but these prices are very high for us Poles! For me it was affordable maybe 2-3 years ago when everything was much cheaper like a half or so.
Poland is not cheap as you think. Poland will always win with prices when you compare crappy polish currency PLN (złoty) to any other big currency (dollar/euro/pound/frank). Today, the prices are DOUBLED, than they were 1 year ago. It affected mostly on food, so this 9zł breakfast you could easily have for even 4.50zł one year earlier. The polish currency is the worst since 1989 (the end of communism, very important date for Poland and enitre history), that's why foreign people are so happy to visit Poland with their money and comparing Poland to their countries, where they "feel" to pay less in Poland for food.
i disagree
Minimal wage i poland is ~610€ ( about 3010zł ) so prices arent that good for people living here
Poland currency almost the same with Malaysia ringgit. really weak currency compared to our neighbour Singapore and Brunei 😢😢
Hi from Poland
If you want to get even more things, eat cheaper with better quality, and exclusive attractions, come to Łódź.
You can get a really big dish of national food at only 15 zł.
The size of dish is literally 1 times bigger than anywhere in Poland. And there's currently ongoing light move festival, the attraction that you won't see anywhere in Poland
1 times bigger is the same size. I think what you were trying to say was "double the size, twice as big, 2 times bigger"...
@@joannab7403 ❤❤❤
8:40 That Pizza was like 30 cm diameter which means it is Medium size.
Large is around 45cm
XXL is 60cm+ and costl around 10-15$ depending on city and restaurant
I was last year in Katowice, Krakow and Warsaw and it was really cheap
Poland is VERY cheap for European standards
@@gus1thego for tourists yes, not for regular inhabitants
Go to the Lublin on summer :)
Gus your killing it!
come to wrocław!
So if you're a tourist in Poland: 30$ - 140 złoty will get you through two days or maximum three days of living. Of course you can be super frugal and spend only 3/4 of that. But for an average tourist in Poland that will really get you through just 2 days.
three* not free :P
🙌🏻
Go to Włocławek, Bydgoszcz and Kowal
Why did you only said about XX century history of Gdańsk?
I'm from Poland and i have never eaten such a meal 3.17

In Poland we have bigger pizzas in another's restaurants not like this restaurant in video bro just checking another Whit pizza 😎👌🔥🔥
If you will be in poland you should visit Lublin
nothing - prices have been going up and up inflation is 16% already - nice if you earn in euros somewhere , but not when you earn in zloties
