    Now you’ve made me want a Sago Palm. Ugh! I live in the Midwest and I use those Lowes buckets to keep my rock salt in the winter, they come in handy.

    Great job. Looks pretty!! So much classier looking with white gravel around them. Keeps pets and bugs out of it for the most part not so easy for them. I like to dress my house plant pots with white aquarium gravel as well. It also keeps the top soil moist and makes it harder for gnats bugs to lay eggs into it or wanting to. I like to put %20 Coco Core earth (pre-watered and expanded) %50 potting soil %30 perlite for all my house plants. They so so love it and thrive super well. I have all my pots with drainage. My plants have doubled in size under grow lights 24 hrs a day when in winter it is not sunny outside. Once done in the window on a sunny day they go back in my bathroom with a clipped grow light to my vanity and %35 humidity 24 hrs a day when not able to get sun from the window. They all have doubled in size since Dec 24th.

    First of all, congratulations on being a homeowner at such a young age! It's a fantastic accomplishment. I actually use those mesh bags in my pots too!! I hoped they wouldn't break down or hurt the plants but they seem to be fine. All your plants looked great and I especially liked the sago palm. What are your secrets for keeping fungus gnats away?

      Thanks so much! And yes the mesh works great I havn't had any issues over the years using it in any of my plants 😀 I will be doing a video on gnat control soon (once work dies down) 🙏🏾💚

      Free Range Diva I leave a small dish of apple cider vinegar out near the plants for a few days and some will drown in there. I also dry out the plants more than usual in the infested room

    I just found your channel and I'm very much enjoying it you're so talented. Who was it that you named that you watch to get ideas from? I didn't quite catch it. I'd like to have a tenth of your get-up-and-go. Thanks

    Love the paint bucket idea for your plants 🥰 How do you prepare your soil. Do you use boiling water to get rid of bugs? What is your process 🤔

    I just purchased the same agleonema from Walmart . So pretty. "Colorful aglaonema", no species listed. I think it's the firecracker variety. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Love your collection and channel🌱💚

    Is there anything else I can use if I don’t have any mesh to put in the bottom of my pot? Also is orchid bark wood pieces and what is it for? Thank you for your videos.

    Can your potting mix be used for most plants ? Or the selective kinds you normally get ?

    • @KreatyveGardenista
      @KreatyveGardenista  5 лет назад +3

      Yes I use this mix for almost all of my plants, I do tweak it just a little bit for plants that prefer more moisture tho

    What kind of water do you use on your plants the water from the tap has chemicals in our water so I catch rain water or I use purified water this is important for me thanks
