I think a comment I saw somewhere else said it best - Chao modding's been around far longer than general SA2 modding. That's how much the fanbase loves Chao.
These gardens are SO PRETTY! Big props to the modders for these. Video idea: I would love to get your take on why the Chao Garden is so universally loved, and what mechanics or features you'd like to see added or changed in a new garden-style game.
All these custom chao gardens have really got me tempted to make a custom garden too, maybe even a pack in the future (like 3 custom gardens in one mod kinda deal) I’ve got ideas, but oh man are they gonna take a while if I do decide to do em lol, loving a lot of new mods lately!
I love the furniture aspect! Im currently making a choa-esque pet game where i have implemented a similar idea, and being able to customize a garden is actually really nice. I'm glad to see it in SA2B
Have you checked out the "SA2 Past Garden" mod? It's an expanded mod for the neutral garden that showcases Angel Island and the master emerald shrine from SADX into SA2!

Hello! I am a long term HUGE chao fan. It was one of my favorite games since my early childhood :) I was wondering what is chao garden modding? Is this something to download on your laptop? I’m not that tech savvy. Chao World Extended looks like so much fun.
But I love the Dark Design of the Dark Garden! D: It looks nice, yeah, but I would like it ore as Optional. Isn't it possible to Made more Doors in the Lobby? Not like with the Hero and Dark Garden but in the Round form and every door is another garden. 2:30 Okay THAT is nice!

It is a bit complex to explain over youtube comments but if you check google there are some guides online. We also have people on our discord server that could help you with that :)
As a coder myself, I'm starting to wonder, why haven't more people made a completely new chao-like game already? I've seen clones of other games become better than the original over time, and I feel like this might be the best time do work on it. I just checked out Star Garden, and it's looking really good. I can't believe they're bringing Kirby Air Ride (one of my favourite games back in the day) and Chao Garden together, but unfortunately, all of these are passion projects, not really aimed at becoming the next Chao Garden. Hey, I know it's hard (I've been coding for close to a decade now), so good luck to anyone working on them!

Add these guys back to the new games if they never do thanks to the modders for continuing to build stuff ontop of the games files fr u do what sega and nintendont
