Full denture is an application that can be done if you have no teeth left in your mouth.
Full dentures (complete dentures) are prostheses made of acrylic, which can stay in the mouth with the vacuum force formed by the support of the bone tissue in the lower and upper jaws.
Removable full dentures over implants are prostheses that can be put on and removed by the patient, which are made in complete edentulousness.
Advantages of overdenture on implant;
1- It reduces or eliminates the movement of the prosthesis.
2- Aesthetics is provided better.
3- Bone loss is prevented.
4- Increases chewing efficiency and power.
5- It allows to speak better.
6- It has a smaller prosthesis size (no palate and edges).
7- Its cleanability is better, it can be removed.
8- It is removed at night and the tissues are rested.
9- Since the pressure on the soft tissue will decrease, pain will not occur.
10- It is a cheaper solution than full implants.
