Hi James. I sympathise. I played that course about ten years ago and put three balls in the water at 18. Two from the drop zone. I thinned my fourth shot over the grandstand and into the car park. I just drove the buggy straight over to the first tee and started over. Not sure I will ever finish the 18th on that course.
What an experience playing in that pro am especially with Christiaan Bezuidenhout. I started following him last year when the Scottish open was on and he was being interviewed and he really impressed me
I got to say I’ve enjoyed James videos a lot but it seems he is much more “click baiting” as of late. His videos are good enough in my opinion, not really needed.
Agree. When they all first start out, contents great. The bigger they get the poorer the content becomes which is a shame. And most you tube pros can't play for toffee
He’s literally on a Tour Course during Tour week and people moaning, content is getting poorer. He was on course with the eventual runner up too, jeez some difficult people to satisfy
last year I shot 87 3 weeks after the tournament, was an amazing experience! Rough was still like that although the fairways were wider last year for sure!
So that's how a PGA pro handles a tough course. Hahah no worries we all have a bad round every now and them. You picked the right place to have one. It is really beautiful overther and looks like you had a good time which if you ask me that's what it is all about.
To be honest Ramon I can’t call that a bad round. I enjoyed every second of it. For me a bad round is when I walk off unhappy. Not afew balls lighter 🤙🏼
I believe I could lose an easy 15-20 balls on this course. I also believe that I couldn't break 130. So well done James and this was a great video. Kevin O'Rourke
I played the Pro Am with Nick Dougherty in 2012. Playing in afternoon session and started on 16, couldn’t believe that 1,500 were watching as we came onto the 1st tee. Terrifying would not give it justice. Ripped my drive, bent down to pick up tee as if I always did that 😂😂
We’ve all had days where we lost more than it share of balls haven’t we? I don’t think many of us have had that much fun doing it though! Great video James! Nice change of pace!
Iggy Clubb yeah same here, but it was the montage part for me? It might just have been my phone, but the text on top was super clear but the video footage itself was in like 360p? But the rest of the video was stunning as always! So I don’t know if it was just something wrong with that part of the video recording
OK...........You are playing from the White's. Kind of surprising. What were the numbers from there. Total yds, Slope rating? And tell me again who paid for the balls! Glad you had a good time.
matt smith fortunately Matt the companies realise that people want to see real life testing. Also I challenge anyone not a top tour pro to take to that golf course and not lose golf balls. I’m going to take your comment with a pinch of salt as I don’t think you understand 🤙🏼
Have you ever lost that many balls in the water before in a round 😁 pressure would be immense, I would have been way over but wouldn’t have taken any risks ect and not have gone for long greens but laid up short. Never seen wirey rough that deep before on edge of fairway
James Robinson Golf indeed you did James. All I’m saying is in my opinion, Taylor Made is the ultimate hype machine by spending big marketing dollars, Titleist is a true precision craft maker that spends far less on marketing and they get a bad rap as a “players only” company. As a scratch player I hit the TS3 better than any driver I’ve ever played in my life, and can’t hit the M5 consistently to save my life.
James a love your videos but seriously you really dont need to do the same old intro .we know you bring us daily content yadiyadiya .skip that .into action 👊🏻
That’s because your not a new viewer. Appreciate that it takes 15 seconds out of your entertainment but watch any video on how to grow a channel mate. They all say the same thing.
First I need to say that you are a better player than me... With that said. To me you have way to much movement in your swing (Particularly up and down.) I don't deny that we need to have those movements It´s just that yours are to big and a little to unstable in my opinion. (The bottom line) When you see it with the naked eye (as a separate piece) it's WAY TOO BIG. This is something you only should notice when you play the video in slow-motion. (To the naked eye this should only seems like a smooth motion with a CONTROLLED even speeded weight transfer/rotation.) But as I was saying in the beginning. Your a better player than me, although we seems to have the same basic problems. (In other words - Nice to see that I´m not alone with this type of problem.) Please let me know when you find a solution - I don´t know why but to me the feel of it is PERFECT! (The view of it however... Well it's not.) 😉😊👍
@@JamesRobinsonGolf My last golf outing of 2019 was on a cold windy day in November and I lost more balls that day to water than I did the entire summer season.
@@JamesRobinsonGolf So you played in a Pro Am in Dubai and lost £15 worth of balls and that's a fortune. Ok, whatever. Was expecting a story of £100 rounds in the bar not whinging about losing stuff you probably don't even pay for.
Andy Lade it’s a joke Andy. If you must know after the round we blew afew hundred quid on beer. I hope the fact your so disappointed doesn’t mean you haven’t enjoyed the video
Can't think of another golf course with such a good view???? Really!! Of all the courses in the world, glass and concrete comes out on top!!!!

Good video James. I prefer the stunning view of the North face of Ben Nevis from Fort William golf club!

That course looks stunning! Lost balls and many strokes would be had but how can you not smile while you’ve got that view!
Stunning course. Wouldn't matter what I shot, would just be glad to be there
The pro's really play a different game from the rest of us. This course setup really shows that.
last year I shot 87 3 weeks after the tournament, was an amazing experience! Rough was still like that although the fairways were wider last year for sure!
I’m sitting here on a wet and windy UK day and I’m very jealous. It looks stunning and fun. Can I come next time?

We have all had days like that. It's a crazy game. From those tees, don't think I could break 100.
Looks like your inspirational coaching with your pro last Wednesday has payed off for him (As the playoff continues).

Great video James more course vlogs pal👍
Playing that course in May, let's hope it is a little easier by then. Great videos
Nice video mate. Try west lancs or Wallasey after a wet summer for some proper rough.
I guess the All you Can eat breakfast buffet opened as you were played cuz everyone must be there lol
Great Vlog James. I use to live in Dubai and this use to be my home course, best score was +15. Try the night golf on the Faldo 👍⛳
Great blog as usual James, living the dream mate...I reckon I would shoot in the low 60's , that for the front 9 😆😆😆😆😆
Great video...that course looked pretty difficult. The rough was ridiculous!!!
Looks like you had one hell of a trip. Beautiful courses...
Thanks for an excellent video, James
Bethpage is good if you like a cityscape
Think I'd probably hit 120 round there looks tough but I bet your enjoying it James
Living the golfing high life.
Just tune into Sky - I do hope you did do as you said and put a tenner (or so) on your man! Loving your videos.
great course
That rough ain't so bad. Try Fairlop Waters in winter. The fairways have longer grass...... Seriously!! 🥴
Great content what a course, I play off 13 I'd be happy to break 110
Exciting
Well played and what a great trip you've had
Are you a luck omen. Your mans done well!!
I can’t imagine playing the course, much less filming myself at the same time. Thanks for the vid, James. 😉
Part of me can't help but wonder how many takes it took you to pronounce Bezuidenhout lol
So many
Why is some of the footage much lower quality than others? Other than that, great video!
That was what will took, very greatful for it!
James Robinson Golf My iPad started the video at 360p so I changed it to 720p. Looked great after that.

Liberty National in New Jersey has a much better view! New York!
Not lost as many balls as YGT Rory = win - funny. What a tough day on the course...not! Hope you enjoyed it...!
Course is a bit nice. You looked like you had fun, end of really, great vlog as always
I’d go for 59.....the year I was born.....😎
But inquiring minds want to know did you win
Some rough! Now you see it, now you don't!!!
Great video
Will Smith has let himself go a little
You have days like me, I only lose rbzs though. Have a great time mate
Hard to play is scramble when everyone hits it longer i like best balls
I would definitely and absolutely break 80,,,,,, On the first hole

No idea mate. Can’t imagine them letting 300 folk go off the pro tees the day before the event to be fair
According to bluegolf.com black 7250 yds, 75.3 / 143 . White 6532 yd to 71.9/135
Wow, they let anybody do club reviews!
Huh
Seems like it would take a better game to be able to give a fair review of a clubs performance.do you get a free set of clubs?

Yeah, I was kind of joking, I love your videos. But you did play awful there.
Would be a miracle if I broke 80 based on 1st round scoring. Maybe 90 if I had to play from tips.

Nerves get us all. I would guarantee shank the first few shots if I was playing with a famous golfer.
Why don't caddies use a trolly save their back aswel
Dominguez gives it a good poke doesnt he.
Hi James, did you put your £10 on Christian B. He’s done good for you so far. You might make some money back for those lost golf balls 👍🏌️♂️
