Hello Linda. We update our ranking every year based on the resorts we could visit and compared to the ones we've visited in the past. Anantara Kihavah is really amazing at every level. Island natural beauty, house reef, villas, service, food, underwater restaurant and a price that is "reasonnable" for the Maldives and for what you get. We went twice and never felt like there were too many families. I guess it depends when you go. Try to avoid school holidays and you should be fine. But still, we went in August and in November and both times, it was definitely not too busy with kids/families. And finally, for F&B, I would not say that it's more expensive than anywhere else. Of course, make sure to book HB, as in any other resort :)
've been to Soneva Jani and Soneva Fushi. Both are the best resorts I have ever been in!
