This is by a long shot the best new bike on the market. It's stunning to look at and listen to. So refreshing in a market full of praying mantis looking "standard" bikes.
You've done an amazing job with capturing the exhaust note...and i say that after having seen many videos on the topic...i keep coming back just to listen, scenery being a bonus. Must be quite a meditative experience driving it.
Wow it has pops as standard!? This has to be one of the best sounding stock bikes across all bike categories. Do you know how the W800 compares to the Interceptor 650 or a Bonneville T100?
Hmmm, I think that's pretty much subjective 🤣 While I like the Interceptor 650 for its looks, motor and handling, I didn't buy it because I found it very uncomfortable due to the rock hard seat. The T100 for me has too much electronics and I like bikes that aren't computers on wheels 🤣 In addition the T100 has ride by wire which I absolutely hate. So I'm a bit biased in regards to the T... but I guess the bike is nice if you like ride by wire and drive modes and all that.
The sound is normal on all models from 2019 onward. For older models, I've seen lots of videos on how to remove the baffles, which defenetily improves the sound. However, it may be illegal in some countries, as it is in mine.
Great vid and bike sound. I consider this or early models 2012-2013. I wonder if It is worth paying extra for newer model as they look similar. I wonder if you had a chance to ride early models and how do they compare in terms of handling, ride comfort?
Thanks for watching 😁 I did actually. They handle exactly the same, are just as comfortable and have about the same degree of vibration in my opinion. The only difference is the slightly wider tank and better stock exhaust sound on the newer models. But depending on where you live and what kind of regulations/laws are in place, you can get some awesome after market exhausts such as Daiwa or Beet Nassert.
There's no weight on the wrists due to the upright sitting position on the bike. So your hands basically just hang off the handlebar. The suspension is also quite soft so there's no real impact on the hands and wrists to deal with 😊
Kawasaki W800 is the best, isn't it My Meguro K3 is exactly the same as the W800, so it has a normal muffler but it sounds good.I also use zoom for sound recording.Thank you
It is, isn't it? Just came back from a 3000km tour with the W. No other bike I would have wanted to ride on this trip. Your Meguro K3 is also a very beautiful bike! Have a great summer 😊
Depends on how you define big vibrations. On a scale of 1 - 10, 1 being no noticeable vibration (like a BMW K1200GT) and 10 being hefty vibrations (basically any 60s/70s/80s bike), I'd give the W800 a 6. That being said, I recently did 1100km in 3 days with her and it was no problem at all 🙂👍
Nope, that's the chain. You can only hear it on the recording due to the positioning of the shotgun mics and no proper eq on the track in these early recordings. I've since been able to find eq settings that reduce the chain and brake caliper sounds 🙂
Oh okay 😊 I don't really notice the bevel sound while riding. Maybe they changed that with the 2020 version too? Or the changed exhaust sound tunes out the bevel sound? When riding, the only things I hear are the wind and the exhaust 😅

My thoughts exactly 😊
360 degree firing order. Air cooled. Correctly styled. Lakhs of miles reliability. Glorious, beautiful, sweet sound. What's not to like?
This bike looks classic and sounds old too. So nice !
Thank you! Totally in love with the bike 😍🤣 Definitely the right decision to buy it 👍😁

Thank you! Very much appreciated 🙂
This made me smile..😊
awesome bike great sound, stock exhaust they did a great job with it
That they did! Although I'd slap on a Daiwa exhaust if I could 🤣
@@FredEricS-Moto will need to check that out but for me it sounds great with the stock
Love my cafe 2020, just wanted to enjoy your view from the standard w800! Nice.
Thanks 😁

Toller Sound , tolles Moped. Grüße aus Hessen

Thanks for watching 😁
That's an okay sound to.
I like it, especially compared to older W800s pre 2019. Could be a tad louder though 🤣
Nice video thanks for sharing 🙂
You're welcome! Thanks for watching 👍
Great sound, how can i do that? My bike is w800 2013

The front end over bunps, looks as though it could be punishing on the wrists.

Thank you.Let's enjoy motorcycles so that there are no accidents.
Hello. Can you tell me if the bike is an Euro 5 version? That sound made fall in love with the bike! 😍
Hi, thanks for watching 😊 The 2020 W800 is still a Euro 4 Modell 😁
hello, did you remove the db killer? Thank you
Nope. Everything's as stock as it gets 🙂👍
Hi.tell me, there are big vibrations on the motorcycle?

thanks for the answer
I had a Honda VTX 1300, I wanted to know the difference in the vibrations of these motorcycles.
@@xrys80 I would imagine the vibrations could be roughly the same. If you've ever sat on a Royal Enfield Classic 500, it's exactly the same imo.
@@FredEricS-Moto no, I only had a honda vtx. I like Kawasaki w800 very much, I want such a motorcycle.
👌🏾
Very nice
Thanks 😊
Pop corn for everyone 😋
🤣👍
Is the whirring sound the bevel drive?

3:03 Crashhh
Almost 😉 The oncoming traffic slipped off the road with their rear tire. Had to look twice though as I also initially thought they'd touched 🤣
But this bike's bevel sound is weird
Do you mean in general or in this video specifically? 🙂
@@FredEricS-Moto for more than 5-6years
I have this too 2015 ver.

db killer is removed !!!
Defenetily not. The bike is as stock as can be. Check out my newest video, you can see the baffles are still there 👍
