- While Titans and Kaiju were the creatures that were showcased the most in 2024’s movies and shows, 2025 is set up differently, this coming year will have a lot of dinosaurs coming to the screens, big and small. From movies to TV shows and documentaries, here are 7 highly anticipated dino flicks that will grace u next year.
1. Jurassic World Rebirth - Set for 2nd of July, Jurassic World Rebirth will be directed by Gareth Edwards, famous for 2014's Godzilla and is also written on a large part by David Koepp who was involved heavily with the original Jurassic park and its sequel.
2. Primitive War - Based on the cult-favorite novel series and comics by Ethan Pettus, Primitive War will be a survival-action movie that sees a squad of elite soldiers sent into a remote jungle
where an experiment by soviets there goes haywire and creates a rift in time and space. From this portal, dinosaurs from 65 million years ago appear, get stuck and cause chaos in that current timeline.
3. Flowervale Street - Flowervale Street is an upcoming American science fiction film written, co-produced and directed by David Robert Mitchell. It stars highly acclaimed stars like Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor, Maisy Stella, and Christian Convery.
4. Primal Season 3 - Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal has captivated fans with its stunning animation and minimal dialogue, following the brutal survival journey of Spear, a Neanderthal, and his dinosaur companion, Fang. After Season 2's bittersweet finale
5. Walking with Dinosaurs - The highly acclaimed docu series Walking with Dinosaurs of 1999 is set to make a comeback next year.
6. Suviving Earth - Next we have Surviving Earth is an upcoming 8-part paleo-documentary set to air on NBC and stream on Peacock. Co-produced by Universal Television Alternative Studios and Loud Minds, the series is spearheaded by Tim Haines, the creative mind behind Walking with Dinosaurs.
7. Untitled Netflix Dinosaur Series - Silverback Films, in collaboration with Amblin Documentaries, is producing a new 4-part documentary series for Netflix that will chronicle the 170-million-year story of the dinosaurs-from their origins to their ultimate extinction.

Jurassic World sound as boring as expected - that franchise is just terrible
