I really like your “if it needs doing, do it” mantra, I’ve been using it this week and my washing is actually up to date! The chat at the end of the vlog reminded me of something one of my teaching mentors told me for when I got completely overwhelmed and spiralled thinking of all the things that needed to be done and all the possible consequences (long before I knew I had ADHD) which is “do the next thing next”. It sounds so simple but I still find it really grounding.

The self imposed deadline of Christmas causes so many people stress. Enjoy knitting the cat and get yourself a back stop pressy just in case. If you have to give her something small when you visit like toiletries and explain there’s more on the way. I am sure she will understand as just seeing you is a gift in itself. ❤️
