I'm in the market for an upgrade on my 2x Beatstep Pro's. When I started watching this, I was thinking this is a MIDI only controller, as no CV/Gate was mentioned, then demonstrated with a software sequencer almost put me off watching, until I read the comments; basically the same as the original Pro, but different colour.
I have Arturia KSP Chroma and is very very nice controller. For sync with Ableton when rec your sequences, adjust time delay in midi options and quantize your recorded midi notes… enjoy! Thanks for the video!!!
Yeah this is the info/video I am looking for. I have my KSP setup and running well, but I want to get it all lined up with Ableton and sync'd together.
The only other multi-channel controller I found works for similar purposes is the Korg SQ-64 which is half the price but no keynoard. It holds more projects too. But I prefer the KS Pro.
Saying that one has a course that will make you a piano pro in 21 days, is as ridiculous as saying that a skinny guy who never lifted weights will be turned into Mr. Olympia in just 1 month. I've been a keyboard and piano player all my life (both amateur and educated professional) and I find it offensive that people are buying themselves into something that is simply impossible, just because they hear the advertisement and believe that something like that can be true. 👎
Yea… just throwing out BS like that sadly has gotten all too common as people less discerning people are taken advantage of and believing it. Reminds me of the “I just made 4 million dollars and 41 cents last month doing doing this bull **** and learn how you can too (with the photoshopped numbers in the thumbnail)
Amazing? Not really. This is feature-identical (with one exception) with the white KeyStep Pro, with different-colored LEDs on the touchstrips, and a couple of slightly different knobs. The one single change is users can now customize the color of each track. That's not amazing. Please don't go overboard.
The product is definitely amazing I’ll stand by that to the grave. This kind of technology even though it’s probably taken for granted by a spoilt new generation of music producers is probably not amazing and I can understand that too. But I will say sorry for making the title seem like this was a NEW edition. Which is probably why you gave the reaction you did! BUT it definitely is AMAZING haha, and no kick back for me absolutely nothing. Just loving what Arturia is doing and so much cool stuff lined up for the next year stay tuned for that!
@@EmlynInTheMix "The product is definitely amazing" makes sense when the product was announed in April 2020. This ever-so-slight update with nearly-identical features doesn't deserve the breathless acclamation you're giving it in late 2023, sorry.
they definitely got me to click thinking, "What are the extra features that I didn't know about..." haha... Def a great midi keyboard/sequencer for anyone who doesn't use DAW sequences... Bought a black one a few months before this was released... Wanted to see of I missed out on some new features...
Imagine what your reaction would have been if you saw michael jackson turn from black to white😂 on a serious note limited edition is used by companies to boost sells on a orinal producr most sensible people no longer buy into this marketing
lol that’s funny! Fair enough, at the end of the day the company has gotta make money, but that doesn’t change my perspective that this is a great product! And sure even Amazing!
Lastly lad, you also mention you’re no expert in the video… another reason to reconsider that title as your preaching to a lot of people that really now their stuff… Looks like you are a cool chill dude that doesn’t need to be like the other snake oil salesmen littering music producer culture with their plug in and gear reviews.
Every synth , controller , everything is a game changer and amazing

Thanks for sharing! It really is great for getting both internal and external instruments sequenced alike.

the new colorway is truly groundbreaking
I wonder if I’d prefer the white for the colors on the tracks. Very bold visually. I’ve owned it before but this looks cooler haba
I wished they made the white keys grey color.
I'll be interested when they make the damn thing bigger
It's made for small guys like you
Black colored controller is the new amazing

I strongly agree, people be finding ways to make money out of nothing everywhere ...
I’m buying!
Wait. Amazing how, compared to the old KS? Or just amazing design etc.?
KSP didn't have Strum and Chord ...only Keystep 37. Too bad...
@@QuantizStudioRecords fair enough.

That‘s true 😂
Would be amazing if they added something new, but this is the same thing as the older model. It's a nice color tho@@EmlynInTheMix

I hope for a Uli clone, Arturia products with keys always fail after one year. the clones don't. Time for a Swing Chroma@@EmlynInTheMix

I could not even follow this guy he was all over the place.
Did you try it?
