  • @MrBeatenpath

ill stick with my 2 milk crates held together with zip ties

  • @marcw6230

Don’t you have a welder? A shopping cart for the casters? I could make one for under $20 with spare parts. $1000 is too much for my azz under this presidents inflation.

I’m happy to see your success, and I’m proud to be a supporter, but I will say that I miss the “good old days…” when I felt like I could relate to your circumstances as a “homesteader” learning as you went. I found great value and inspiration in the content you made. Now, I struggle with envy and disillusionment. Which I realize are my own failings, but I feel compelled to share. Best wishes in all you do.

This video exists so that he could buy a cool chair and get a tax break on it.

$833 (just over $1000 for us Canadians) for a chair... that doesn't seem very proho... proho sits on a log and invests his money in lead... not silly chairs!

  • @nathansutherland5749

$1k chair doesn’t seem very “proho”.

  • @gnomeandpine5678

“Why companies put big branded stuff logos on their stuff is beyond me.” Says the man with his logo all over everything in the shop.

  • @mattledbetter

Complains about branding on things….puts the Snap On logo towards the camera. 😂

  • @RickOShay4u

    A very expensive bar stool.

  • @thormidthagahast8914

833$? The opulence is strong with this one. Now we need to be shown a 23,000$ radio coms system.

  • @a.s.j.g6229

I don’t know if I would describe it as value for money. But, it looks insanely well made. If I could afford a $1000 stool, this would be the one I would buy.

When I was a teen my grandfather asked me if Levi Strauss was paying me to wear their blue jeans. I asked why and he said if I wasn’t getting paid they were getting free advertising due to the tiny tag on the back pocket. It caused me to change my thinking from the jeans were status to me being a promotion for them. He was the ultimate entrepreneur. I learned a lot from him - mostly great information.

I can't wait to see an update on this in the future and hear if you actually think it's worth it. Based on the build process and quality of everything, I would guess you may lean towards "yes." Where I'm at in life, and just my overall attitude of "good enough will do until it won't" for particular items, I'm not sure I could ever see myself buying a shop stool for this much money. I'm confident I could comfortably run through 30-50 dollar stools for the rest of my life and not come close to paying as much as this one.

  • @Jmooney503

You know its quality when it tells you what tools to use and doesn't come with the junk wrench or hex key. They assume correctly that Proho would be buying it. Nicely done.

  • @fritzyberger

I work in a machine shop in Wisconsin and we made the aluminum parts for the center of the chair.

  • @curlybill3966

Glad your doing well but during a time when a majority in this country are struggling to make ends meet it’s hard to get excited about a your chair.

  • @sharvey4236

As a woman and nurse, I never learned to do such things, watching your videos gives me the chance to learn something. Can you do more how to videos? I want to purchase a small tractor, but nit sure the best to purchase, something old or something new?? Thanks.

  • @chevchellios621

I dont know what im more shocked at... the beauty of a shop chair? Or the fact not a drop of locktite was used in this video

  • @cryptowolf-zf3fs

The cat getting comfortable by the fire was nice to watch.
