I'll do it more in depth in the next patch video. As for motion blur it's off, I play on Performance with capped frame rate on. Frame rate cap off always causes frame drops that last way longer than when capped is on
Idk my hfr just looks and feels less clunky. All the other modes less than 120hz has so much judder and blur when moving the camera but I have a newer 85" full array Sony Bravia so it may be more obvious on the bigger screens..
Uncapped runs smoother on Balanced now but it causes longer frame drops for me, frame cap on Performance is the smoothest in my experience, Fidelity with cap off still looks 40fps when flying Dont even bother with Fidelity and ray tracing it runs bad. HFR Performance pop ins are horrible and it looks 720p at times. For me it has to be Performance with cap on, after testing and playing the game for over 100 hours between modes The best way to explain it is the game stutters I get with capped frame rate off on any mode seem to last longer, similar to skyrim and fallouts frame drops on old gen consoles. You'll notice if you run around and test it in the defense against the dark arts tower Ghosting effect is least noticeable on Fidelity and most noticeable on performance and balanced, like when you spin the camera, that doesn't bother me though as I've played tons of games with ghosting.
A can see what you mean looks alot softer in HFRM performance cap gives me 59 FPS that will do Rez looks fairly good to hopefully performance will get better with more updates
Hfr perform is the only way on my tv. My eyes hurts on other modes
Same here ✌🏻
Yeah but resolution sucks, it drops to like 1080p
Fidelity ist the best in my opinion.. normaly i play 60 fps but jesus this game looks awful with 60 fps..
Balanced is working also actualy
Hey do you mind sharing your other settings such as the motion blur, capped or uncapped framerate, depth of field, etc… ?
I'll do it more in depth in the next patch video.

Frame rate cap off always causes frame drops that last way longer than when capped is on
Oh didn't know that about capped settings, then i will just use msi afterburner to cap fps
There’s been no patches yet since official release. Clickbait title

I played Hogwarts Legacy the last time at Sunday and I was a bit disappointed about the performance, is it better now?
Xd (Playing on XBOX SX)
Wym performance? Play on PERFORMANCE mode and it’s 60FPS
@@ryudiousAll modes run terribly on my Series X, constant stuttering and just straight up not a fun way to play, waiting for it to be patched
@@Yuiiski- here too, Series X...
@@Yuiiski- Yes, me too. But I‘m happy to see, that I’m not the only one with performance issues on the Xbox.
Thanks! Xd

This patch doesn't change the performance, it's very bad
performnce mode runs so bad
…… are you drunk? Performance is the BEST MODE. 60FPS.
@@ryudious it stutters
@@franchisefanatic4142 Yup it does and dont let you Tell otherwise
Game looks awful in Performance mode in my opinion only 1080p... fidelity is the best mode and the 30 fps aren't that bad at all.
Performance has the least stutters but yes, the resolution suffers. Even so I think it's still the best with capped frame rate on.
