My take on pefromance differences between XSX and PS5 in different modes: - PS5 uses a low level API based on Vulkan, which is definitely WAY MORE EFFICIENT than DX12, specially on CPU drawcalls. Considering how heavy is on CPU the RT mode and performance modes, it's clear why PS5 ends up with an advantage. The API. - XSX packs a ~15-20% more powerful GPU, when the GPU horsepower starts to be the bottleneck, which happens at higher resolutions, the difference starts to move in favour of the Microsoft machine. People also should have in consideration than XSX moves the PC version, which is, in most of the cases, developed on DirectX12 for PC and ported to Xbox, that gives the MS console a clear disadvantage, despite being faster on the hardware side, the software and work put on the version have also a lot to say. Microsoft should optimize DX12 way more and devs should work a bit harder on DX versions of their games, as well on the port to XSX/S.

Maybe they plan to cross platform at the beginning, because UE5 can`t do that.
Because they started this year's ago
Because they wanted to port it to older platforms. Switch doesn’t have a UE5 distro
@@ReGo001 Doesn't Fortnite run on Unreal Engine 5 now? And Fortnite is on Switch.
Unreal Engine 5 released to developers last year. This game has been in development around 5 years if I'm not mistaken. Hogwarts Legacy 2 will definitely use Unreal Engine 5
On PC it's a dumpster fire.
PS5 is only the better choice because the PC port is utter garbage, same goes for almost all triple A games that have released this year. Stutter fest on PC.
Having a high end rig means nothing these days if developers keep releasing broken ports..
This would make for an absolutely incomprehensible VR game
4 decades? Are you 60 or something?
Anyone else get a white tin when playing in 1440p 120fps?
5600x and a 6800x “my high end pc” 🙄
Still far above the average gaming PC specs
Been playing on PS5. Enjoyed it a lot.
Did you also enjoy the hate and intolerance of the author, per chance?

This is going to look poor on last gen and the switch
As always, PS5 dominated the Xbox Series X in performance.
Some smartphones are powerful than the switch and yet it’s not coming to mobile 😢
Fuk mobile gaming.
Cause that smartphone is probably more expensive than the switch lol mobile had the least treatment in terms of games😂
Do a review with empress non-denovo version
FIX THE FRICKING PERFORMANCE MODE GHOSTING
when are you going to issue a public apology for your Alien: Isolation score?
One the worst AAA UE presentation in recent years. The assets, models, VFX, and performance are low tiers. Gameplay is decent.
ray tracing is broken in this game, just turn it off
Version Xbox Series X is better 🙌
Ps5 what’s the best?
