I don't like wearing backpack when I ride. I only wear a cape. A backpack don't flutter in the wind like a cape do. Since I'm riding, and the motorcycle make me feel like I'm flying. The cape makes me feel like Superman, or atleast Batman gliding in the wind coming down the road. I wish I could wear a big cape, but I can't since I'm scared the cape will be caught in the wheels so I wear only a cape that comes to my butt. One thing for sure I don't have the cape strapped to my neck, but to my shoulder with strong velcro so if it do get snagged on something it will rip ooof and not hurt me choke me.

Hot tip I went through way to many capes it got to expensive. So I stopped the batman look and just replaced the Cape for a gimp mask and a tail and went for the cat woman look. Nothing makes you feel more free then trying to scream like a cat with a red ball in your mouth.

    I love mine!
I had the same theory as you Josh, the bigger the bag the more I'd take so I got the T9.
I only carry my first aid kit, a few snacks, emergency toilet paper and water in mine.
I put my bladder in the fridge the night before too.

Mate, Scott from Gippsland Vic here, love the channel and this vid, i brought the an OS-12 and like you after seeing the build quality decided to purchase a bag.
I went for the 18L, I do a reasonable amount of rides by myself and always take a decent first aid kit (not just for me but for what I might find as well) PLB, tools, often a shell layer, spare gloves….
This then still leaves room for snacks and spare room if absolutely needed.
Going to buy the new OS-Enduro base soon. Keen as.
    Stay well mate!!!

If you're a keen cyclist (road or trail), this is the bag for you. The weight is very evenly spread across the back, chest and shoulders so even with lightweight cycling shirts, it'll feel comfortable for hours.

Right now I have the kriega HYDRO-3 pack and I love it. It sitting very nice on the body, and as you mentioned it doesn't put the weight on the shoulders. but I want some thing with more capacity. the Hydro have only little storage that can fit small wallet and maybe a small snake bar. so I consider buying the 9 backpace, or only the us-5 drypack that can be attached to the hydropack , then I can use only for long rides.

Does the us-5 secure tightly to the hydro 3 of does it feel like it is hanging off? My thought is the hydro3 with us-5 is basically a trail 9 but with more versatility. 🤷

Thanks Josh…does it keep twater cold / cool over a full day of riding?

Coolish, the water in the tube warms up fairly quick though.

I find it keeps it cold enough. But yes it can get warm in the tube. Maybe chuck some ice in at the start of the day if you wanted it super cold I guess.

Hey, thanks for the video it is really helpful. I just want to know if a 14-15 inch laptop can fit any of the compartment or not? if you can test it and tell me that would be appreciated. 🤘

Nice video and review. The only thing it has room to improvement is hitting the bag every 9 seconds on average. That takes the attention over the content.
