Thank you for the easy & helpful video to set up and send faxes using HP Smart app. Altho I couldn't install/use it on my laptop (Windows OS is too old), I was able to quickly and easily follow the instructions to set up on my android tablet in less than 10 mins and send a test fax with a scanned attachment & cover template. Can't thank you enough. great job. And in plain English with no foreign accent.
I set up my fax and was able to send, after two yrs, but the HP Smart updated and I did as you, a cover sheet and an attachment. She's a little slow but it worked.
This thing is available with cable network, need line telephone?

Finally, a simple way to send faxes. Is it possible to receive faxes as well?

No, HP Mobile Fax only supports sending to other fax machines. To receive faxes from another party, you would need to also have a fax machine.

With an hp desk jet 2752 all-in-one, how can I send a mobile fax? I can find it anywhere for that specific printer series.

Do you have to pay to use mobile fax... and if so what is the free alternative to fax???? Does the free alternative not allow me to send documents to my printer the same way I can when I print it so I can fax it?

Mobile Fax is a permanent feature of the HP Smart app, similar to printing photos or scanning. It is automatically included in newer versions of the app. HP does not require payment or a subscription to use the Mobile Fax service during the free trial period.

The Envy Inspire 7200 series printer does not have a fax modem, however, you can send mobile faxes using the HP Smart App.

It says that you can attach files (plural) but I can only get it to attach one and the demo above says "attach files" (plural) and then says "find your file" (singular).

How to activate the “Print to Fax”?
+AJ Send faxes from the document Print menu: Open the document you want to fax, click File > Print > Printer, select the printer that includes 'Fax' in the name (Example: Fax - HP OfficeJet Pro 6970), and then click Print to open the Send Fax window where you enter the fax number and make settings and preferences changes.
So, you can't use Windows Fax? You have to download an app and then sign in? Sounds sketchy to me.

If you are setting up HP Smart for the first time, you must create or sign in to an HP account. If you update to the latest version, you do not have to create or sign in to an HP account except in these cases: You install an HP+ printer. You install HP Smart on a new device, or you remove and reinstall the app.
