Deni Daniro the only fight in that run that you can criticize Hunt for at all was MAYBE the Brock fight. Regardless, no amount of money can compensate you for the unknown risk of taking damage from someone roided up
What! You guys still get face the pain?? It hasn't played on the ppv in Australia in years. I even played it off my phone at the start of the Usman Masvidal card.
Marshawn Lynch too, to an extent. I'm just here so I don't get fined did help bring a lot of people over to know him, granted he was obviously pretty well known to more serious fans already lol
Same thing for the 2000s aesthetics, booing boring fighters even if they win and promoters deciding championships. As Jim Cornette said, the UFC is the number one pro-wrestling promotion in America.
Also the fact that the fans want to be entertained. Also, fights being put together from a business standpoint. the usage of interview/promos, and the placeage of fighters on a card. Predetermined or not, UFC and WWE have the closest business models

I would say Richard Sherman’s “I’m the best corner in the game, Crabtree is a sorry ass receiver” rant in his interview right after the Seahawks beat the 49ers in the 2013 NFC championship definitely helped push him in to super stardom, but that’s the only one I can think of outside if MMA.

I'd argue that Richard Shermans interview when he trashed Crabtree rocketed him to superstardom. He was already popular but not like how he was after that moment with Erin Andrews
