The globe key chain was seen in the episode "A Pinky and the Brain Christmas" where Pinky gives it to the Brain as a Christmas present.
Well there you go. I had no idea. I probably haven't seen all the episodes so I likely missed that one. Good to know.
The picture Pinky comes with is of his horse girlfriend Pharfignewton, she appeared in a few episodes
Dang, how did I forget about her?? We stopped our Hulu subscription almost a year ago so it's been a while since I've been able to watch. Thanks for reminding me.
@@TechChucker She is a deeper cut character, but she was in Wakko's Wish IIRC. I find it curious her design is close to Pinky's; they're made for each other lol
I remembered her the instant i read your comment and had a forehead slap moment that I forgot. They are made for each other, minus the interspecies thing. lol
Awesome video, Matt. I will definitely be getting these as well as the Animaniacs.
It's a great set. I never watched the Animaniacs so I'm not grabbing the others from the series but those look pretty darn awesome and I'm guessing you'll be getting them too.
@@TechChucker I plan to get them eventually. I love S7’s releases but they are pricey. I hope to catch them on sale.
Fortunately, I got these for half price on the Big Bad Toy Store Super7 sale. They are quite nice, But there is no way $55.00 per figure is a fair price. Especially with the poor standing ability, floppy waist joints and the fact that, as cartoon characters, there is not a lot of sculpt work or paint work to justify the same price as other, more sophisticated characters. For the $27.50 a piece that I paid, I am quite happy with them. (And now I have that theme song stuck in my head.)
thanks for the figure review. I was hoping these would be great action figures, but they really just look like statues.
They probably would have been better as statues considering the proportions need to make them look accurate to the show. Not much they could do around the articulation. Although, the ankles could have been executed much better than they were which has been my biggest disappointment.
Super dope looking figs...if I had space for them I would probably grab some.
Oh I'm sure you've got space for these 2. Just do it.
I opened the full wave yesterday. Overall, I love them. The figures are a lot of fun but I think you pointed out something that is important, the feet could have used a rocker to assist with standing.
The Warners are also fantastic figures. I have not had this much fun opening an action figure in a long while. I was chuckling to myself and even started singing some of the songs. No doubt, they are expensive and that may be a deal breaker for some. I think if you were a fan of the show and you are ok with the cost then these are must haves. I am not disappointed at all.
Great review, you were able to present the highs and lows of the figures to us in an even tempered and informative way and I greatly appreciate that
As far as the figures go, them looking great while feeling cheap is standard fare for S7 unfortunately. I'd love to own these guys as I'm a big fan of the show but with the quality issues and the lack of/hinderances in articulation I can't justify the higher price tag. Hopefully I can catch these guys on clearance off Amazon.
But thanks again for the review, great job! Hope to see more reviews from you in the future.
Thank you for the kind comment. As noted at the end of the video, my collecting has been cut down considerably so I don't do a ton of reviews these days, but I do a lot of Diorama stuff now so I still am pretty active with weekly videos. Hopefully that'll be of interest to you, but not a big issue if it's not and you gotta take off. lol.
While there is a cheap feeling like you acknowledged, they're still really nice and thus far, there aren't much for good options for these characters. I have noticed that Brains feet are getting harder and harder to keep him standing which is my biggest issue now. I may have to find something to assist with the standing and looseness of those ankles, otherwise I think it's a great set and I hope those who love the show are able to grab this set. Not sure if they'll ever hit clearance or not. For my sake, I hope they don't so I don't have regret from buying them at full price. :-)
@@TechChucker I'll have to check out your other vids then! Always on the lookout for good new content. Glad you enjoy the figures!
I really like these. Yes they are a bit harder to stand still.
I think I would really like to see Super7 starding to include some generic base like Mcfarlane toys is doing.
A stand would go a long way for these figures for sure, but I'd also hate to give up any of the accessories they did include cuz they're all pretty cool. As long as the foot plates were in addition then I'd be all for it. Heck the feet have peg holes so they planned for it.
I have these. The Brain has trouble standing. Mine has a loose left ankle joint, too, and that's right out of the box. So there's just no hope of him standing outside of a very narrow, straight stance without creative engineering. There are holes in the heels to fit a peg base but none were included. Still looks very nice.
AWESOME
i buy both today, love it!!
they are amazing ✨🤩😃
Very strong crew of creators showcased this week! Thx for watching
Amazing 🤩
Oh yeah these are amazing! I’ve been a huge fan of pinky and the brain since I was a kid and it’s one of my favorite all time cartoons ever. I missed out on the funko pops and have been waiting for some company to finally make figures. These guys will also be my first super 7 action figures in my collection. I preordered them on bbts as soon as preorders went up lol. Right now mines are in my pile of loot so I haven’t gotten them in hand yet but they look to be worth the price. Damn the packaging is bigger than I expected them to be but I think I will keep the boxes
I hope you'll stop back when you get these guys to let me know what you think of them. I'm still trying to figure out where I'm going to put mine, but I still really love them.
@@TechChucker alright so overall im happy with them! the hands can be hard to change though and really wished they had better articulation at ankles but i think they will go in 10th spot for my fav figures of the year
his globe was actually a key chain, hes a lab mouse...
How do you changed their hands?
Very carefully from the sounds of it xD
