big "amy + jenny"/20 somethings fan here!! I love the grass is greener series, and as a viewer I would love to see the different, non-career or career-adjacent parts of your lives (however you guys feel comfortable sharing). personal style, lifestyle, friendships, confidence, hobbies, philosophies on life... anything you guys find interesting/fun to share, i'm sure your audience would love too!

I also laughed out loud at the part where the book was saying people have 5 life-quakes in their lives bc girl I feel like I've had way more than five lmao T_T"

Yeah, I agree. Career has not been my biggest priority so these videos help me when I’m thinking of prioritizing it more, but also videos on you guys as people would also be cool to see.

A longer conversational style series along with this would also be enjoyable. You guys can discuss topics or really just talk about your month and give details that we wouldn't be able to get in the Grass is Greener Series about how you are feeling, the progress you made or lessons you learned..etc

Forever thankful for your guys' vulnerability in sharing your stories. It's so easy to only show the milestones you guys have already done (achievements in Google or some progress in your founder journey). But I love how even with the year ending, you're able to get real with us and tell us that "starting over indeed sucks". As someone who moved from another country in the hopes to land my dream job here in SF, this series is extremely comforting.
Topic I'm interested in is how you guys handle your finances. How did you prepare for your "starting over" phase. Did you just save up an x amount of money or did you have any backup plans in case nothing happened in the timeframe that you set?
How will you cope with the layoff? Will you be moving in with a roommate/partner? How will you handle finances in this type of crisis?
Apart from finances, do you have any coping mechanisms in dealing with uncertainty with your careers?

Hey Amy and Jenny! so happy to see this video pop up in my notifications glad to see you both doing well, For the new series, I’d love to see more on psychology topics like redefining success, balancing career with personal priorities, or even other suggestions from the community. It fits so well with the vibe of the channel and what makes it so relatable. I’m also open to deeper convos about tech if that’s a direction you’re considering! for me, this channel is an inspiring story of two motivated, incredible women sharing their journey and that alone is so helpful and uplifting.
Amy, I can tell big things are coming your way keep going!
And, Jenny, love the shoes! 😊

I know I’m just a stranger on the internet so I think it can be hard to grasp when I say that these videos are so impactful. I’m not even completely sure why, but know that what you guys are doing is really meaningful.
I’m 26 and as I’ve gotten older I’ve actually become less tolerant and willing to endure suck. It’s unfortunate, because I thought the opposite would actually happen… especially sinceI’m actually very much not in a sucky season.
But you guys are helping me to prepare for a potential sucky season to begin. Your friendship is endearing and inspiring. I would love some more content on 1. Confidence knowing you will and are equipped for change and new experiences and pushing yourself and where that comes from and 2. Friendship and how to easily love people when you feel self-consumed.

Great video! Always impressed by how much quality insight y'all can fit into a sub 10-min format. A few ideas for future topics / videos:
    - It seems like you two (and based on the comments - your audience) are very career-oriented. Would love to hear about how you think about and actually build your lifestyles to balance what you want out of work and life. What sacrifices are you / are you not willing to make. How many hours a week are you (or in Amy's case: were you) spending time with friends / partners / family, being active, going on adventures, spending time alone recharging, etc, and working?
    - would love to hear about what you guys want for the future: lifestyle, relationships, starting a family, career goals, bucket list, etc. A good subtopic (which Jenny briefly touched on) is how you think about pacing when it comes to these goals, and also how often you're re-evaluating if they're even the right goals for you.
    - recent videos have been extremely polished - think something long form where you just have an organic discussion could be interesting. would love to listen to something like this while on a long run (so maybe ~45 mins - 1 hour?)
Y'all are killing it - keep up the great work!

i want more frequent videos :) Don't have to be pressured to post only if there is a major update, the journey is typically far more interesting than the end game.

These life updates are nice and always really thoughtful. I'd be interested to see more regular videos, including a bit more 'unpoished' stuff, especially on specific career-related topics, e.g., interviewing tips/techniques you've learnt or how you handle disagreements in the workplace. I feel like the current videos are updates and reflections and are really great and real, but also a bit unstructured or general, and slightly polished or composed. Maybe try a weekly livestream for a month just to try things out and gauge the reactions/get inspired?
Edit: Also going through a life change right now. I'd love to see something about building new social circles after you have a career/job change!

Curious I know Amy said she used to be in a long term relationship but ended it, how did she make the decision for the new one? I’m wondering if you guys could do a relationships video now that you’re later in your twenties! 😊

Hi there, it's been a while since I started watching your vlogs. As you are asking for suggestions on topics related to new vlogs (I guess), how about this topic: beating a start-up founder, How do you manage work-life, finances, and also take care of your health, etc.? Like a start-up founder struggles while dealing with tons of problems. You have to take care of everything from product to finance (both personal and start-up) - regular interaction with investors, mentors, customers, etc. So, how do you deal with all of these? And also, for 9-5 jobs, how do you manage productive hours, health, and finances, all of these?
Don't give up hope Amy and Jenny. I can feel your mental health, cuz it's been 2 months I was laid off.
    Have a good day ☺

I retired at 52 and honestly, I wish I’d done it sooner. The 9-to-5 grind always steals your freedom for a paycheck that barely scratches the surface. My advice? If you’re in your late 30s or early 40s, start saving for FIRE now (Financial Independence, Retire Early.) And if you’re in your 50s, invest smartly and break free from relying on your job. Market trends, like the Trump Effect, have made millions for many, including me. Stay focused, stay consistent, and remember financial freedom is within reach if you make it a priority.

Exactly My point! The 9 to 5 grind is just not worth it the stress and low payoff. What specific steps did you take to break free?
