His lighting is definitely correct from my knowledge. Although the siren that would've been outfitted in the period unit would be a Signal-Stat STAT 6 siren. The NYPD had a two decade long contract with Signal-Stat to design their sirens until the early 1990s.

my dad had this exact car ,rusted so badly the spare tire fell out the side of the trunk when he made a hard turn once .i destroyed the flimsy tin dashboard on the passenger side with one punch . did 0-60 in 15 seconds downhill,and it's a super ugly car from every angle .dependable transportation fosho !

Growing up our Local Police Department had a Plymouth Fury with all Blue Light's on it, I really really miss that car.
