Jazz guitars are very difficult to play finger-style very well! John, in true craftsman tradition makes it look fun too! Many decades ago I was his warm up man for a gig we played at Manchester students union bar. He was instantly loveable & gave me such encouragement, it meant so much to a nervous 18yr old startout! Bless you John, & thankyou so much!
First heard JJ nearly 50 years ago. A charming man who, rather like Isaac Guillory never received the recognition he deserved, outside guitar fanatics,
Yeah... genius, a true virtuoso... with Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Stefan Grossman, Davey Graham, Chet Atkins, Marcel Dadi, Pierre Bensusan, Don Ross, Micahel Hedges... and all those masters.

That was awesome. Sounded like 2 guitars and a bass. This man is talented.
