LaJoie had his opportunity in the #9 subbing for Elliott and failed. Funny you mention Hocevar, because Hocevar replaced LaJoie in the same race and OUTRAN him till the rotor exploded.
Ive watched new fans at the track watch an Xfinity race and they are much more attentive than the Cup cars, because its easier to see that number CENTERED, than it being offset to the human eye!
Daaaang Gluck, put some respect on JPM's name. 278 total nascar starts, he won in just about everything he's raced. Won on nascar road courses, should have won the Brickyard twice.. I think he'll be more than ok when he shows up at the glen.
I wonder if the percentage of accidents has increased in Cup since moving the #00 off the door? Im a former Graphic Artist of Typography and I still struggle seeing that number at speed!
Don't forget that every team at Talladega will know exactly were they need to finish in order to advance to the championship round and I think that is were thy will ride
Did you say the same thing when Kimi or Kobeyashi came in for a one off race? Put some respect on JPM. One of the best drivers in motorsports and even at 48 he’d dust a lot of these drivers. Not to mention his pedigree
Why such a big deal about the #7...That car has not been a contender ever! Nascar media seems to build up drivers who come from a previous famous family driver!
16:45 Does this guy even know that JPM won in NASCAR Cup at Watkins Glen? JPM is still racing, he's not been idle. I'm beginning to think he never saw his race Indycar, Formula 1, IMSA and so on.
We have not seen a “true best driver of the season” be champion since 2003. You also can’t go off “well he woulda won it in the old format as well” because drivers and teams race differently because of the chase/playoffs
Spire has nothing they are pulling on Trackhouse's success... Put Corey in the 48 and he wins races put him in the 47 he wins races I mean he wins in a car that can run up front
If you want an exciting unpredictable finish to the championship, make Talladega the final race. Talladega has no business even being in the championship rounds. It's too much of a crap shoot and is not representative of the sport.
Dirt race at Bristol was the ONLY Nascar race I watched last couple years. Haven’t watched a one this year. Watch DLM racing and race dirt myself instead
Chase doesn't get a top 10 every week. In fact, chase has races that go more poorly than Cory's one race. Does it mean Chase is as bad as Cory? No of course not. It just means one race in the 9 car isn't enough to judge someone's skill
@@cosmicdisaster25 I’m not buying it. He’s been in that car 4 years now. All he has to show is a second place finish. I’m not a fan of chase either. He isn’t as good as the 5/24 cars. Lol put him in the 7. That’s a top ride. They are gonna be players as soon as they get a driver.
lol cannot believe Justin Haley will get a ride like that. It’s funny how some drivers can never really do nothing and get these good rides. It’s really about who you know and what kind of money you bring to the table NASCAR anymore.
The playoffs already ruined so many winston era drivers legacies….and we’re worried about Talladega being added to the round of 8 now? HA come on guys, manufactured champions are nothing new. It’s now tradition, lean into it fellas
Nascar is so paranoid of everything about its sport now! There are more fans following Xfinity now than Cup! Racing is better and the one thing that nobody has mentioned, its easier to follow and watch the race cars with the NUMBER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DOOR!
I don't watch either Daytona race or either Talladega Race...I dislike pack racing and "the big one"! If those are your idea of entertainment...go to a Figure 8 race or a Destruction Derby. Carnage is not racing.
Talladega, road courses, ect are races on the schedule every year. If you don't want to run them then take them off of the schedule completely. A guy wrecking at Dega and missing the round of 8 is the same as if it happens and they miss the round of 4. If you can't finish up front in the clutch, you don't deserve to be champion. The days of almost all cookie cutter 1.5 mile tracks are good and well in the dustbin of history. Stop crying about the format and go win.
There's nothing clutch about superspeedway racing, especially at daytona and talladega. If they needed to have a drafting track in the playoffs then they should have put atlanta in there because there is some skill involved racing there as opposed to the traditional plate tracks
NASCAR needs to quit screwing up. If they continue on this current course they will be DOA by 2028. It's part of the reason Stewart bailed out. They have got away from their roots. I find myself less interested weekly weather I make time in my life for this worsening show.
Great to see Hannah back on Dirty Mo!
Wish this was on here more often. Great show
LaJoie had his opportunity in the #9 subbing for Elliott and failed. Funny you mention Hocevar, because Hocevar replaced LaJoie in the same race and OUTRAN him till the rotor exploded.
Its the same conditions for all race teams. Talladega
In lajoies defense Hendrick has overall performed poorly at gateway but I agree that hocevar is the better driver
One race is hardly a chance to show anything
@@crazyarab02there's no defense brother lol. 20 year old Hocevar _in his first cup race_ outran Lajoie in Hendrick equipment.

Are these DJD Reloaded full episodes no longer longer posted? All are short videos. Want full interviews posted.
Love to see my friend Hannah on dirty mo. Hannah your dad has had a really good run the last couple weeks

Im thinking Kyle Busch
Great video.
Can we finally go back to a season long points format yet?
Never happening
You guys sound exactly like politicians
Be cool 😎 if rowdy could make the move to #7

I am sure Hamlin would have no problem taking the money!
This is the A team
Mike Davis hire the Brakehard (Breakhard)guy....Dirty Mo needs a "News Feed" and that guy fits your style....

@3:00 incorrect we saw lajoie in chase's car at gateway and he SUCKED.
Why such a big deal about the #7...That car has not been a contender ever!
Nascar media seems to build up drivers who come from a previous famous family driver!
The last time the 7 has been a contender was in the days of Alan Kulwicki.
Money already running Trucks and Xfinity from what I’ve read lately

Bret Holmes 32 truck 🎉
Unless spire n the 7 does something different they will never know where the performance isn't coming from
Talladega change is a BAD idea ! Hey I got idea . we have throw back paint skims , lets have throw back championship !!!! Bring back more old school .
I predict that Christopher Bell will win this weekend at Richmond with his new crew chief on board with him as well
Thanks for the like

Haley won’t go to the 7 not gonna happen. He’s got a bright future with RWR and RFK. I mean Justin Haley told us himself he’s dedicated to RWR.

Non corey hater but he did have a full week and weekend to drive and prepare to drive the 9 car and was outran by his own car the 7!!!
LaJoie not perfroming, Cost a lot of money to watch him run and finish in the back, BTW He subbed for Chase last year and sucked in a top rate car
Chase has sucked in that same car before. Sometimes you're just off. It was just one race. Not enough to really judge

Does not matter as I no longer watch nascar. The corruption between nascar and HMS has degraded nascar into a favoritism sport.
