Hey kid.. It's your uncle Lonnie just found out your all about the RC world. Well I'm into it about $1500 so far lol.. Moms told me you were down here last weekend. .. But like always I'm last to know anything. Lol
Hey!! Oh yeah!! Deep deep into Rc! Love the hobby, last weekend was the NorCal RC monster truck winter finals at hotrod hobbies. We actually stayed in Burbank at the Marriott...I tried to come meet you all but your mom said she wasn’t feeling good
@@pnwRCMADNESS I can see that. I was into years ago but then life took over. I just picked it up again. Running my business is a chore so I found my happy place now. . I really don't go anywhere these days. Wink wink. I bought me a Slash 4x4 VXL. I'm slowly turning it into a speed run truck. I got it on 6s with a Armma Blx motor and a mamba x esc. 74 mph so far. Moms hasn't been too good these days. She has her good days and bad.
Heck yeah!! We need to stay in touch!! 74 with a slash is movin out pretty damn fast!! I’ll be down there again next year/summer for another race. I’ll come see you guys then
Hmmm!! Not sure. Is that on pavement? Those tires have a lot more grip than stock. Check your gears to see if they’re in good shape and go from there. Could be a diff possibility going out
How much do these tires weigh? Looking for something slightly lighter and harder than my stock e revo tires so I can slip and slide a little more on high traction surfaces while also staying nice n cool
@Hearrthstoned- I’d have to weigh them and get back to you. They are hands down one of the best tires on the market for sure. I think you would like them for sure. Definitely weigh less then erevo tires and have a ton of grip great for dirt and grass.
@Matthew Kort- this is actually in Orting, Washington. Thanks you for. Tuning in also. Find me on Facebook at PNWRCmadness if you’re on fb you’ll see our group, it’s really a great group also
Air control is just about throttle control. Just practice using the throttle and you’ll find most any setup will work well! The badlands are great though and I have them on a few cars. Thanks for tuning in!!
Hey there I have a similar set up with my Traxxas max running 6S with bad lands 3.8 tires I’m wondering what you use for gearing and if you were running 4S what would you suggest using for gearing set up?? Thanks
No way man proline fell off, my buddy has the same ones, in warm weather they were cracking around the tire bead not even bashing hard like rich duperbash or Kevin Talbot

But don’t forget to smash that subscribe button 🤣💯🤘🏼
@@pnwRCMADNESS yes we do. I will be bugging soon for some parts. Lol
I've got badlands 3.8 for my tekno et48.3 and the 8 screws for the "hubs" are fine cuz I've bashed the heck out of them with no problems.
I do believe my Maxx needs a set of these.
I think you would like them! They’re a great all around tire for sure. At least imo they’re 🤘🏼
Thanks for tuning in also!!
Stock Gearing is 24/50. I put in 24/46 for now but am waiting or servo horn to test the setup...
When I punch the throttle my maxx seems to skips until it finds the gear mesh. But when I change to stock tires it's a smooth acceleration.

Very good look these tire gooo on skatepark great🤩🤩💪
Thanks man for always tuning in! It means a bunch to me😊
@@pnwRCMADNESS it's normal buddy what you do in the rc world is really cool sharing and good spirit are important😁 where do you come from?
Went through 8 of 3.8 badlands tires. Cannot handle 6s on my Maxx at all. Constantly came unglued.
Dang bro! That’s a lot of bad tires. I’ve had one come unglued since.
But I still love badlands
Three years later😂 how did they hold up, did you have to glue them much?
matter fact they’re still running but with a ton of glue for
sure 😂
@@pnwRCMADNESS thx man. My stock backflips ripped apart. It’s a shame, they are such good tires with trash materials

Is this portland by chance.. nice dirt track

I would run stock gearing for sure
Belted or not belted?
Non belted…
Thank you for tuning in🤘🏼
@@pnwRCMADNESS yeah I pulled the trigger last night and the non belted ones work great still!
Widemaxx?
Yes sir!

I haven't run them in a long while. But still they have held up to numerous broken bulkheads. But other proline mx43 I have cracked
