I am very familiar with this apparition. My husband and I have had the privilege of visiting Banneux. It was an apparition that became very close to my husband's heart. So when he passed away I had a prayer card made up featuring Our Lady of the Poor. I was stunned to hear that no one had ever heard of this. However, even within Europe it's virtually an unknown apparition, sadly! Holy Mary, Mother of God, may you become more known and loved by all mankind. ❤

I don't think the most humble mother of God, if these apparitions are truly her, would ask for anything to be built in HER honor over her son's. Which makes most of these Marian apparitions suspect at best.
This verse you reference was St.Paul's cautioning believers in Corinth about his opponents. Telling Paul's followers to be on guard against false Prophets who appear to be servants of righteousness but are deceiving believers & leading them away from true life in Christ.
You would think that mid 20th century more people were church going / religious people. It doesn't seem to be the case. WWI and WWII were punishment from God for sins of the 20th century. I guess those people were not as good and holy as one may think since churches and catholic schools were being built in droves at that time.,
The Lord has also many titles. There are videos about His many names. He has the name Lord of righteousness. That title shall He give also on his bride. God bless 🙏
