Thank you so much for doing this video!!! I am new to this and working myself to death with using spray paint and so im switching to vinyl wraps and waterslides I already do the hydro dip but you’ve been the most informative on how to do all of this!!!! I love your video 😊
If you use mirror before printing your water slide (for the name) ,then you can lay it face down on your pen or surface and slide the back paper off. It works better for me this way.
Thank you for the awesome video! I just found you and I’m so glad I did! I’m VERY new to all of this and your tutorials are wonderful!! Where did you get your top? LOVE IT 🥰
New at this and loved watching your video! Learned more here than watching others. I have a question, I have problems with my lungs and was wondering if I could use Crystalac Brite tone instead of Epoxy to seal the vinyl wrap pens? Thank you!
I kind of made it. You can check out my tutorial ruclips.net/video/LkR2BN5aWHM/видео.html. I purchased the actual too from Ante Up Graphic Supply. Which I just looked and they are out of stock right now. anteupgraphicsupply.com/curved-weeding-tool/
Dry times vary depending on the epoxy you are using and the temperatures in your craft space. A lot of epoxy is dry to the touch in about 8 to 12 hours. There are quick cure epoxies that dry to the touch anywhere from 2 to 6 hours. I always put 2 coats of epoxy over any of my projects whether it is glitter, vinyl or waterslides and no matter what epoxy I am using.
@@brittneyreanae6543 oh wait, you mean at each end you can see a little bit of the pen? If that is the case, you want that so the epoxy seals the vinyl to the pen.
These were great! Thanks so much! Your instructions were on point, precise & very easy. Sorry I didn’t find you sooner 😊
Thank you so much for watching. I have a ton more videos. Hope you subscribed as well 😊

I think I saw someone do that before. I'm going to have to try that. Thank you 😊
They are so pretty, did you make the waterslide the same size as the printable vinyl rap
Thank you. I made it a tad shorter so the image didn't over lap.
Beautiful! Do you need to coat it with mod podge after dipping it in marabu inks and before epoxying?
Nope. I went right in to epoxy.
@@ItsACraftThingAlishaVirgillo Thanks!
Great video..do you seal the waterslides?
Thx Monica. Nope. I just epoxy right over the water slides.
Can you use nail polish instead of the marble drops
Yes.
What size do you cut your vinyl?
6 minutes into the video I show you in design space the height and width sizes.

@@ItsACraftThingAlishaVirgillo I Love it!!! I need one of those in my life lol
What type of cricut do you have to do the printable vinyl?
I print with a HP Envy Photo printer and I use the Cricut/Explore Air to cut my vinyl.

What do you use to plug the pen while you epoxy
Hi Reva. I use a q-tip wrapped with painters tape.
@@ItsACraftThingAlishaVirgillo thank you
for the vinyl wrap, do you have to epoxy the pen first?
Nope. I don't even sand it. Easy peasy.,
What kinda paint do you use for hydro dip?
The base was Rustoleum 2x Matte white and metallic gold spray paint. The paint in the bucket is Maribu Easy Marble.
Do you use the matte or gloss printable vinyl?
For this project I used
Matte.
When you Hydro drip - are you doing a coat of epoxy before you dip?
No. Just sanded and spray painted.
Hi Brandi.,No. I just dip right over the spray paint.
Where can you purchase refills for the pens and the name?
So Amazon has ink refills but they are not by paper mate. I'm going to buy them to see if they fit. I will keep you all posted.
How long does it generally take the epoxy to dry?
How many coats of epoxy do you put on the printable vinyl and waterslides?

My vinyl wrap isn't exactly flush towards both ends. What is the trick here?
Does it over lap?
@@ItsACraftThingAlishaVirgillo yes it does slightly.

What are you using to plug the ends of your pens?
Following for the same question
You can use anything silicone. I used toothpicks wrapped with painters tape.
