this Sunday I'm going to my first ever trackday in my Yaris, probably wouldn't have done this if I didn't see your videos and probably I wouldn't have even thought of modifing my Yaris for daily and sometimes track purpose.
so thanks for inspiring me and please never stop sharing, either it's the Yaris or another car.

Honestly so happy I found this page😭 I have a 2010 Yaris Sedan and thinking of getting a 2010 manual Yaris 2-door. Not sure if it was worth it but I think I found this page for a reason and you only live once. Imma give it a shot😂. Great content‼️

I started watching because you are doing all of this in a Yaris.
I'd say go balls to the wall and mod the Yaris into the next level.
It's far more interesting than all the other channels toting their highly expensive, purpose-built cars. A Supra going fast? Uh, okay, cool. They do that all the time.... A goddamn Yaris pulling up beside it? That's what brings the fun

Id vote for ecu, tune ,and the c56 LSD! the evntual swap can use all of these parts and you can always keep an eye out for an engine and do it when one pops up.
The 1nz-fe is so faithful turn her up, you already did most of the mods required to tune her and when she dies you will have a new engine to swap in.

I'm bias because I own a 2008 Yaris 2 door (3 door?) hatchback. And personally I found it more fun driving normally slow cars fast. 😅 Also, you kind of answered it yourself, you can't do much with the FRS to stay in the enthusiast class. Another thing, you'd have to adjust your driving style, because, as you already know, FF and FR behave differently. Like I've mentioned in the past, there are still a few things you could do to the 1NZ engine, Prius C pistons to bump up compression ratio, JUN cams, and Scion xD larger diameter mid pipe compare to the Yaris'. If you move up a class, and decide to go with the 2ZR, I suggest the higher compression pistons from the Prius' 2ZR-FXE, and I think the FRS' throttle body will work on the 2ZR, having the same effect as the 1ZZ throttle body in the 1NZ. I know the 2ZZ engine puts out more phonies, but it'll require some modification to make it work, unlike the 2ZR from a Scion xD, which is a direct fit with just one wire to run, either for the MAF or speed sensor I believe. So why not just go with a K swap? But the K swap might disqualify you in the Toyota races.

I’ve owned many cars. The Yaris is one of the best cars ever made. What they lack in looks they make up for in charm, reliability and gas mileage lol

I love to see your enthusiasm for the Yaris. I’d like to see you stick with it and develop it further, but do whatever gives you the most enjoyment.
If you end up engine swapping would a 2zz-ge not be a better option than the 2zr?
Either way I appreciate the videos and thanks for letting us share your journey
