I recommend (Beredak) to you. It is not a song. but it is closer to a religious chant.. Umm kulthum sang it at an advanced age, but it still retains its luster.
IJay, you might be interested to know this song is composed by Zakariya Ahmed, the same composer who wrote Howa Sahih, which you reacted to elsewhere. This song was originally released in 1945, that one was first released in 1960. Zakariya Ahmed had not composed anything for her for many years, and there had been some personal strain between them (including some legal clashes); but his belated return to writing for her was obviously a big success. I am happy he was able to write her that one last song; he is one of my favorite Umm Kulthum composers.
Actually what the men said at the end of the video was like they object the singing because of the traditions or religion as they thing. But the song lyrics said: " The singing is the life of soul, It was heard by the sick and he will recover".
Much appreciate it. I have some questions now🙂 Is the part of speech for أغاني، أنغام، and نغم a noun? If I am not mistaken غناء would be a verb and the most challenging thing for me in Arabic is that I don't know how to use proper verbs for a sentence. For instance, in this song غناء turns into غنیلي as an imperative verb!

Jalal um kalthoum use to be called the opium of the poeple, she hypnotize u or put a spell on you، she has a magical voice.
I recommend (Beredak) to you. It is not a song. but it is closer to a religious chant.. Umm kulthum sang it at an advanced age, but it still retains its luster.
This movie was 1945 so Om Kolthoum was 47 years also old. But Om Kolthoum is great at all her life and song.
IJay, you might be interested to know this song is composed by Zakariya Ahmed, the same composer who wrote Howa Sahih, which you reacted to elsewhere. This song was originally released in 1945, that one was first released in 1960. Zakariya Ahmed had not composed anything for her for many years, and there had been some personal strain between them (including some legal clashes); but his belated return to writing for her was obviously a big success. I am happy he was able to write her that one last song; he is one of my favorite Umm Kulthum composers.

Is the part of speech for أغاني، أنغام، and نغم a noun?
If I am not mistaken غناء would be a verb and the most challenging thing for me in Arabic is that I don't know how to use proper verbs for a sentence. For instance, in this song غناء turns into غنیلي as an imperative verb!
