I'm 100% onboard with TSUNODA. The pricing vs quality is unequaled in this sector. I have over a dozen TSUNODA products and they are top shelf stuff. Great review as always, keep it up!
I am 100% with this!! I am so excited to see tsunoda on the channel and supporting the channel as well!! I am a huge tsunoda supporter man!!! I have at least 20 pairs of different tsunoda pliers. The quality, craftsmanship, and affordability are just unmatched in my opinion. These are high quality tools, the tools themselves are very consistent, and they offer a massive catalogue as well. I also love their new grip design too! There isn't a single company in the tool industry touching what these guys are doing. Tsunoda, if you are reading this, don't change at all!! You guys keep doing exactly what you are doing because it's perfect!!! 👍 I don't think you realize how great of a job you are doing!! You guys are redefining what affordable, high quality tools can be! This is what I like to see man!!
I can 100% agree with this. They are on a roll and almost nobody in the US knows about them. I think that will change...soon. Thanks for commenting and yes they are reading the comments.
I have bought my first Tsunoda pliers PLC200U and I like them. Will be buying more models as their quality is very good. Thanks for the great in-depth review vid.
Hello again, Things Men Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I have a four piece set of the Vampliers. I guess, I have had them for about ten years. I have enjoyed getting camed out screws with very little problems. I whole heartedly agree with you about the quality of Japanese Tools. Again thank you 👌
@@georgeferlazzo7936 thanks. Vampliers are great. Their parent company “Engineer” makes a lot of screw removal pliers. I’ve reviewed quite a few on this channel. Really like them as well.
Tsunoda do make some good pliers. I have recently purchased their cable tie cutters, which seem unique, with a little plier grip at the back of the cutter edge to pull the tie tight with and then you can snip it flush with the snipper section. I also like their mechanical pliers from the PLC range, which are unique and can't find from another manufacturer either. I do have a couple of soft jaw pliers from their RP range, but they are the only ones that do not have their logo or made in Japan stamped on them, so presumably are made elsewhere.
Their cable tie and mechanical pliers are very nice. So far i am really impressed with about 95% of what they offer. I have yet to not see made in Japan from them. Thanks for commenting.
I have some other Japanese brands, like Engineer, IPS, Vessel, and Koken. But I just started buying Tsunoda recently, and have been really impressed with the quality of their manufacturing. Everything lines up perfectly, and the machining looks to be meticulously done. I'll definitely be buying some more. I was so sick of buying USA made, expensive pliers that have really bad manufacturing mistakes. Especially pliers made by Western Forge. I've had to send back the last 4 pairs of really expensive USA made SK pliers that were made by Western Forge. Channel Lock has been letting their manufacturing quality slip over the last 10 years or so as well. Lay them next to a pair of Tsunoda, and they look like factory seconds, or like someone wasn't supervising the apprentice who made them, and they slipped through quality control. I'm still trying to figure out why I like pliers so much anyway. I've got around 40 pairs, and I still buy at least 2 or 3 pairs a month.
Its a debilitating habit, but at least you have a fine pallet for taste. You will be hard pressed to find a better manufacturer at such a good deal price wise out there. Tsunoda, IPS, Anex, Koken, etc. Absolute top tier stuff!
Those all have the best finish I've seen. I'm curious about the warranty on them. I'm definitely interested in them. Also does it show the hardness. Thanks Man
Yes, their finish work is second to none. They care about the finite details and it shows. Some sets show hardness on the back. I may have missed some of those. I talk about the warranty in a couple of these videos, but its treated like a limited lifetime to defects only. I've never had to use it but you essentially email a photo and they decide.
I like Fujiya as well and have some of their products. I have a feeling you will be even more impressed with Tsunoda though. Pick anything on their site and then tell me you arent impressed when it shows up. ;)
@@ThingsMen Only a handful of items are not made in Japan. Some of the soft jaw pliers aren't made in Japan, but 99% of their stuff is made in Japan 👍
Yep read the country of origin on package. Japan listings do a great job of showing the back on the packaging card. Its like lobster adjustable are made in japan fujiya are not.
@@ThingsMen example to this is the plastic Jaw long nose plier with the product code RPP-165SC-S which is made in Thailand, however as far as I know Tsunoda's sister brand GodHand (infamous in the gunpla hobby) has everything made in Japan

Congratulations, this is one of the best manufacturers on the planet. I have an extensive Tsunoda accumulation.

Of course. Glad to hear you pulled the trigger and like them. Grab them while they are still available and affordable.

My tsunoda skip joints are my most used pliers 🔥
Same here. I did a video on the 3 position pliers and thoroughly enjoy them .
Tsunoda is top notch at a very economical price
Shhhhh dont let the secret out.
@@ThingsMen try the rope wire cutters. 16 bucks

@ the 6 inch ones with the spring. Perfect for control wires no sharp point.

How do these compare to Keiba, Engineer, Merry, KTC? I may just have to find out for myself
I have Engineer and KTC and i like these more for their pliers and cutters. I did a video on their 3 position pliers...a must have.
If i bought them i wouldn't want fo use them. They'd stay in my box just for looking at, lol
Um I’m guilty of that on several pairs. 😬
There are so many nice tools from around the world now. So many choices but too few dollars
Yes things have gotten better. TSUNODA has really surpassed much of the competition though. Their finish work is second to none 👍🏻
bought some tsunoda pliers but sold them bihs bc they grips were tacky/sticky
You can cut them off if you like. 👍🏻
