These Walmart coffee makers are actually reliable. I have a Walmart Rival coffee maker from 2011. It still works well. I used it daily until 3 months ago. It's white. After 13 years, it is getting stains. I bought one that looks better on the counter.
I recently bought this new coffee maker to replace my old Mainstay one that had stopped working. My previous coffee maker was my backup machine for many years and served me well during my travels. However, for the past five months, I've been using it as my primary coffee maker in my new home. Unfortunately, it gave up on me today. I stumbled upon this new coffee maker at Walmart for just $20, so I decided to purchase it. I happened to come across your video and felt compelled to share my satisfaction with the product. I'm excited to start brewing with it!
Just bought this item. However the little plunger and spring was loose in the box and I didn't know what it was for and neither did the helpline person and no mention in the manual. So glad I found your video!
I just purchased this coffee maker. I'm so excited to try it for the first time. It looks like I have to run it two times before the first initial use with no filter or coffee to clean it. It's suppose to help in eliminating the smokiness. Thank you for your video it was very helpful. Now I can program and have a pot ready in the morning to help give me that early morning boost! 👍🏽

Its beautiful! Very stylish.. will look good in the modern kitchen with the stainless appliances and the black..And affordable you can get this and the mainstays k cup for 20 and for 40 bucks your all set.. ☕
It looks like this model shares the same brew basket and carafe that the non-programmable model with the flip up lid has. Which I have. "Mainstays" coffee makers will not make coffee that impress coffee connoisseurs, but for people who want a decent cup of hot Joe it will be fine. Because of it's inexpensive price you can add an extended warranty for a couple of dollars. Overall a good buy.

I’ve bought 2 of these and you don’t want it running if it’s done making it it burns itself up, how hard is it to make a coffee pot stop making coffee when it’s out of water??
Some of the more expensive coffee makers have an option to turn the warming plate off after its done making coffee, The ninja Dual Brew and the Braun Brew Sense have this option.
Say, I bought this coffee not long ago, (couple months) and every so often it just powers down and the clock display disappears. I tried unplugging and plugging back in but nothing. I hold the on/off button for a period of time and nothing .. Then after a day or so or maybe longer.. it all of a sudden turns back on by itself... Any ideas? Please advise, thank you.
I bought mine two weeks ago I didn't know that it needs paper filters so I went to returned it to get one that not uses filters but end up getting the same one because the other model were a little bit more expensive and still needed it the paper filters and to my surprise when I opened the new one it had a extra reusable filter inside the filter basquet I dint know why but I got lucky I guessed 😁😁😁

I bought the same model as you. The coffee maker came with a wire mesh filter. When I first examined it the owners manual made no mentioned of it so I surmised that the extra wire mesh filter could be used instead of a paper filter. I just got rid of the coffee maker I had that had that mesh filter and I hated it! It was difficult to clean thoroughly so I was pleasantly surprised that I could use one filter or the other. With the paper filter, the coffee grounds can just be thrown away in the trash and I like that. I guess I am a bit lazy yes?
Bought this yesterday. My first 12 cup program test went ok for a first try, need to add more coffee next time...or hit the Bold button. I'll figure that out. But it ended the brew cycle with "2.0H" on the display. What the heck is that supposed to mean? It goes away when I click the on/off button but the instructions don't mention it and nothing online (that I can find) does either. Anyhow, other than that one oddity, it seems to be working the way it's supposed to........ so far. Has anyone else seen that "2.0H" displayed and know what it means?
NEVER MIND!! I found my answer on Page 8 of the instruction manual. -Duh!- Top of the page, first 4 bullet points. It's just a count down timer of sorts. With the time left before the heat plate turns off.
This thing is a piece of crap. It makes the coffee taste pretty watered down 🤮… even on bold mode. You have to put an excessive amount of coffee grains in it just to have taste 👎🏽.. mc cafe “McDonald’s” coffee is what I brew. I don’t recommend this coffee maker.
I take my comment back 🤦🏽♂️… I wasn’t distributing the correct amount of coffee per cup🤦🏽♂️…. Its a very decent coffee maker👍🏽.. I recommend this coffee maker 👌🏽
