4K

Cinematic Mode on #iPhone14Pro and Max is now 4K and can be shot at 24, 25 and 30 frames (previously this was limited to 1080 at 30). The larger sensor and 4K significantly increases the amount of information in the depth map, increasing the effectiveness of the background blur. I edited the focal points in the native editor but this can also be done in FCPX and iMovie. It has me rethinking my practice and workflow. The ability to enhance a story through selective focal points is such a welcome addition for #mobilejournalism ( #mojo other mobile creatives, of course). #shotoniphone
